A romantic historical music video

Okay, let me first admit, I'm so not a fan of Country Music. But, my sister is, and she sent me the link to this music video. If you're a fan of romance and history, I recommend just a quick peek at it. It is really beautiful and portrays the kind of scenes I love to write about.

And let me know if you enjoyed it!

Also, stay tuned because Saturday I'm showcasing Tuck by Steven Lawhead and I'm giving away my copy of his book.

Now I am a country music fan - what can I say? Texas roots are hard to pull up. :o)

  4. I love the dresses from that time period. Every time I say that someone reminds me of all it entailed, but I just really think they're beautiful.

The words to that song are really sweet, too.

    Thanks for sharing!

  5. What a great video, Marylu! The romance, costumes, dance, lantern...I love reading about that time period and am glad you like to write about it. Neat twist at the end, too.

The song wasn't bad either. I love country music from the 50s through the 70s though.

  7. I absolutely love this song! I really really don't like country music, but this song is the exception. I am thinking about playing it at my wedding reception : )

I am reading the Red Siren and loving it!! It's such a unique twist to have the girl as the pirate.

  8. Love Taylor Swift!!! Awesome singer, and she's pretty good at writing her own songs too. As to this video, it's one of my all time fav music videos. I especially love the dress she's wearing in the scenes where she's looking out for Romeo. Beautiful song.
