Was it only during the decade of 1810 that they used those tall hats with the visors and chin straps?

Was the reinactment for a special event? Or is this done daily? We are planning on stopping at Fort McHenry on our summer trip. Thanks!
Angel, the reenactment normally takes place on or around September 10-12 each year, but I would contact the Baltimore visitor's center to make sure.
