  1. Fri Dec 17th,
    Morning, MaryLu.
Well ... truly, I am 'not' a huge POTC fan ... yes, you are "all" going to be totally shocked now. But, this movie "looks" like it should be a good one, and, interesting. (Really .. I just like the pirate ships, etc. I know that "sounds" wierd ... but, that's the truth of it !) Ahhhh ... my honest wish and hope ... is that one (at least) of your "Christian novels" MaryLu ... becomes the next 'pirate-based' movie .... now that, would be more than exciting !!!
Eight days to go (if anyone's counting ...)
Hope all is well. Take care, and, God Bless,
    In Him, Brenda Hurley

  2. This looks awesome! I just love Pirates of the Caribbean. I cant wait to go see it in May! Little creepy there are going to be zombies in this, considering it is still a Disney movie. Hopefully number 4 will be funny like the first three movies. Thanks for posting this, I haven't gotten the chance to see the trailer yet.

  3. This looks very good and funny...I have a book recommendation for all of you out there: 'Swashbuckling Faith' by Tim Wesemann. It is about exploring for treasure through the Pirates of the Caribbean. This author takes scenes from the movie and turns them into biblical lessons. It is really good and funny. God bless everyone.

  4. Yea, I'm excited to see this one! It looks pretty good, although I had heard rumors it was going to be some weird sci-fi thing. Anyway, can't wait! Debbie, I've read Swashbuckling Faith. It's excellent!
    Have a great weekend everyone!
    Almost Christmas!

  5. It does indeed look like fun. :) I watched all 3 Pirates of the Caribbean films, and while I think the first one was the best both story-wise and action-wise, I think this film could be interesting. Why hasn't anyone thought of adapting your "Legacy of the King's Pirates" trilogy into movies or a series? They would be excellent!

  6. I would LOVE to see my pirate series in film!!! I've been praying about that very thing. But it's really not up to me. The books have to catch the attention of a producer.. and then he has to approach my publisher... but anything is possible with God!

And that would be totally awesome if your books where put on film!! :)

  8. It will hardly be Pirates of the Caribbean without Bloom and Knightley. Sigh.
I might watch it anyway, but it really doesn't capture me the way the other three did.

  10. Wow, that's really cook, Annabell. I guess they filmed some of it in Hawaii cause a friend of mine just went over there and said they had just wrapped up the filming.
Abigail, looks like it will be good even without Bloom...

  11. I have another question...about the possibility of the "Legacy of the King's Pirates" becomming a film or a series. Do you have any actors/actresses in mind who could play the main parts? Like Kent, Isabel, Merrick, and Charlisse? Are there any known actors who could play these parts, or do you think a producer would have to look for fresh talent in order to get a good cast?

  12. Of course I have actors and actresses in mind. I think every author dreams about that. :-) In fact, if you go to my website, to the My Books section, then click on the book you're interested in, which takes you to another page, then click on the line "Get an in depth look at the characters" and you'll see the actors/actresses I chose. But if my book ever made it to the big screen, I imagine it would have to be a very well know producer and director to be able to attract such well known actors. So, in reality, I'm sure they'd be looking for fresh new talent. Why? Want to apply? LOL

  13. No, I'm not an actress, so I couldn't apply. :) But I have a friend who wants to be an actor, and he looks very much like your description of Kent. : Just a thought from an over-imaginative reader.
