Thanks, ladies! Someone on Facebook said this was a picture of John Paul Jones. I'm fascinated by him too, Sapphire.. he's the founder of the American Navy. Plus I visited his crypt at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. Ah, how exciting to live in those days!

Very nice! Reminds me of one of your books for which the name now escapes me. Red Siren maybe...?
