A duel to the death!

  1. Awesome pic! I absolutely would love to have this as a poster in my room! You can only imagine what happened, whats going on and what will happen. Love it! Its interesting thought that they would fight on a rock while amidst in a storm. Hmmm...It inspires me-makes me want to write a story about it. :D

  2. Wed Jan 26th,
    Morning, MaryLu.
Great photo ... plenty of action ! Somehow, I fear for the man who is 'down' on the rock, and with no boots on, unable to stand his ground ! And the one 'towering' over him ... he does NOT look like the good-guy in this shot !
Love the stormy waves, the sky, and the ship ... really neat !!!
    Hope all is well.
    Take care, and, God Bless,

  3. Looks like Blackbeard fighting Will Turner.....I'm wondering how they got out on that rock....Good pic, MaryLu. Please remember me today. I will be at the dentist getting a root canal today. Pray my bp stays low enough to do the procedure. Thanks and have a great day.

  4. Wed Jan 26th,
Heh Debbie Mitchell -- you'll be in my prayers today, too ! (I hate root-canals !!!) I mean, it's all pretty amazing that they can be done (and much better 'today' than the way they were done years ago) ... but my heart and thoughts go out to you ! May you know, sense, and feel God's loving and protecting arms surrounding you; along with His peace !
    Take care, and, God Bless,
    In Him, Brenda Hurley

  6. Hi ladies! Yes, lots of stories screaming from this picture. Perhaps it's Captain Kent lying upon the rock, pretending to be defeated, yet about to spring on his attacker.
Anyway, Debbie, I've already started praying for you. Please let us know how you are doing!

  8. Thanks ladies. I was in the chair for over 2 hours. I am still numb, but everything went well. Thankfully, I have a high tolerance for pain. I did, however, do a lot of gagging. I go back in about a month for a crown and bridge. Thanks again for all of your prayers. God bless you all.

  9. Glad you're home, Debbie. Sorry about the gagging. My daughter has that problem too. Rest and get well. Hugs, MaryLu

  10. This picture is the best! I love it. Like always, these pictures remind me of your books, which lead me to a problem that I am having. MaryLu, which book of yours should I reread? I have had it on my mind for days now to reread one of your books but I cant pick which one, I love them all!

  11. @Tori: May I suggest The Falcon and the Sparrow...........one of my favorites.

  12. Tori, hmmm.. I don't know which one to recommend. I suppose one you haven't read twice and whichever one is your favorite! Thanks for your enthusiasm. As Debbie suggested, I loved writing Falcon. It's my most controversial book!
Debbie, hope your mouth is better. Tori, hope your mom is doing well.

  13. Thank you for your suggestion Debbie. :) I believe I will reread that one. I was going to pick Surrender the Heart, but my dear friend is borrowing it and cant give it back because she is having morning sickness. I love the Falcon and the Sparrow, too!!
MaryLu, my mom is doing really well and so is the baby. Her doctors think she will go into labor this week, pray hard!! :)

  14. That's an awesome picture, Mary Lu. I'm rooting for the guy in white.

I'm currently writing a book where my hero is challenged to a duel--not once, but twice. It's called Dueling Hearts and will release late this year.

  15. Hi Vickie! Thanks for dropping by. Dueling Hearts sounds like my kind of story! I'll look forward to reading it.
