Here's how I see Dominique and Admiral Chase Randal in The Falcon and the Sparrow!

London of 1803 is as wild as Rome before the fall of the Empire as the rick seek to feed their insatiable hunger for pleasure while ignoring Napoleon's resurgence.
Into a dark London townhouse walks a timid woman set upon saving her brother's life, even if it requires her to commit treason upon the country of her birth.
Admiral Chase Randal is intrigued by the new governess in his home and cannot deny that his grieving heart is beginning to awaken as he watches Dominique with his son.
Dominique loves the admiral's son, but how can she understand an attraction for the admiral when he claims to deny the existence of God? For only through God does she find her courage to spy for France.

  6. Great, Heather!! I think I hit this one on the head. And Emma, yes, Russell Crowe made a great Royal Navy Captain. I heard he might make another movie but that was awhile ago. I wish he would!

  8. Whoa, MaryLu! On this one we don't even come close to picturing them the same! lol. I know you created them so you should know, but I picture them WAY different.
It's kind of funny. If I saw this then read the book maybe I'd agree but I read the book two years ago and picture them with totally different faces and hair. I thought her hair was black and his was more reddish, but not orange. Like a dark brown with red shades almost. lol
This is kind of fun...to see how everybody pictures characters

  9. I agree about the hair color. I don't even try and match that. I'm looking more for face and body structure.. that kind of thing.
Regardless, you're right. Everyone pictures characters differently!

  11. Almost how I imagine both of them. Chase I just imagine with a bit of a few years younger look, but still both look dashing! :)

  14. First of all, I love The Falcon and The Sparrow! But, in my vision, Chase was not 'that' much older than Dominique. Good choice for Dominique though.
