You Have Found the Lover of Your Soul!

Brothers and Sisters, as I was reading the Bible a few days ago, this verse literally jumped off the page at me, so I'm posting it here:

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Romans 13:11-14

If you are following the news you know that on June 1st, Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on Russia that destroyed 30% of Russian's fleet of long range nuclear capable bombers. Later that day, rumors came out that Russia knows that the US and NATO were involved in the attack by helping coordinate it and by using Musk's Starlink. If this is true, then Russia might very well retaliate.  Many saints have had dreams that when the missiles head down, we go up. Anyway, keep praying and watching!

Here's the post I felt let to post today. Now more than ever we need to remember who we are in Christ and how much He loves us. We can trust Him and hold Him to His promises!

Do we believe what God tells us, or what the world says God is like?

  1. Hello Sister in Christ,

Much gratitude for the post, particularly the loving and reassuring messages from God in the Scripture. This strengthens my faith in wanting to meet Him and all other Brothers and Sisters in Christ in Heaven very soon.

I heard that contrary to popular belief, Pentecost is seven weeks after Passover instead of Easter, hence marking yesterday 6/01 as the official date in place of 6/08 as publicly observed. Could it be that God’s calendar is different, hence maybe why we are still here? I guess we will see how this week and maybe the rest of the month turn out.

For the post regarding Ukraine’s attack on Russian bombers, I did hear about it though I did not dissect it in detail because I know it is not going to change anything for the better, so could that mean all the “peace” talks were all staged and false?
I remember reading somewhere a while back that Russia may symbolize Gog - could it mean that Russia would be a major force involved in the Ezekiel 38-39 war? I also read that if Russia ever attacked Israel, that would mean that serious disaster is inevitable. Another source I read is that Russia might also play a major role in the upheaval after the Millennium Reign when the Devil is released for a short time to gather the still-unrepentant beings and wage one final rebellion against God, who will cast them away into Hell forever. Is this true Sister?

A family friend invited me and my family to a sermon at their church this past Sunday and while it was in Mandarin but had English translations, it was heartwarming to see attendees listen to the sermons and singing songs of praise to the Lord. The topic was about the importance of God’s sacrifice and how the blood of Christ cleanses us from sin. This brought the Scripture “By His wounds, you have been healed.”

However, when I was socializing with one member, I spoke to him about what I knew about Pentecost and the Seven Feasts based on what I learned from your posts, but he said those are more connected with Old Testament doctrine instead of the New Testament teachings. I even brought up Daniel 9:27 to emphasize the 7-year peace covenant that will bring about the Tribulation, but he responded with that it is significant in emphasizing the Lord’s resurrection without any indication that evil is increasing per what we know with the upcoming two-state solution conference. He did not show any concern, which made me surprised that I decided not to bring up the Rapture, Tribulation, and even the UN conference this month, which I brought up briefly but did not go into further detail after seeing that he is comprehending it differently. I am sure he may be one of the Christians who feel that we still have plenty of time left and that there is nothing wrong or alarming at all with the world.
This made me determined to consult God and you about whether their faith is actually genuine since you and other readers of this blog, myself included, know that misinterpreting such critical Scriptures could be very troubling especially with all the signs we have seen. Anyone who believes but misinterprets or even dismiss the impending Rapture and Tribulation despite all the signs - does this worry us as in whether they truly believe the way they should?

I had a “scary” vision in that in Heaven, while there is sincere love and no judgment, I wanted to converse with some Brothers and Sisters, but they reacted in a way that hinted brushing me off and rejecting me, similar to what I went through in this world. I do not want to walk away in tears or embarrassment ever again. This will not happen in Paradise, right Sister?

Blessings for the loving quotes from the Scripture and keep the faith strong. Take care and blessings from a Brother in Christ.

    1. Brother, we don't really know when Pentecost actually occurs because the calendars are all messed up, so don't be alarmed we are still here. We do know that Pentecost occurs during the Wheat harvest in Israel, and that is happening now.
I believe the current peace talks are real and happening, but that doesn't stop one nation from attacking another. We shall see where this leads. Yes, many scholars believe Russia is the Gog in the Gog-Magog war, but it's quite possible Gog is also a demon prince who is pushing Russia to fulfill prophecy. There is mention of Gog-Magog in Revelation but I don't have a clue if that refers to Russia or simply the demonic prince causing everyone to come against the Lord.

I'm glad you were able to attend a good church service, but I'm not at all surprised at the reaction of that person you spoke to about end times. It's very typical of most believers. They have no knowledge of and little interest in End times and have often been taught incorrect doctrines about these events. Does that mean they aren't saved? Not at all. The only thing necessary for salvation is trust and faith in Jesus and making Him Lord of your life and a real relationship with Him. If someone does that, but doesn't believe in the rapture, they are still saved!
Brother, in Heaven, No One will treat you badly. No one will reject you or dismiss you!! That is a lie from our enemy. We will all have such love for each other and such great friendships... it will be amazing and beyond our wildest dreams!
      Blessings!

  2. Greetings Presious Sister in Christ,
This morning as I was in prayer and working at the same time, I was thinking, I havent been very productive lately. And the thought came to mind " let us work while it is still day" !
Could remember where the verse came from. It was a very busy day, but the thought kept popping up as I worked.

So I'm just curious with our Brothers comment about the church he attended. What were they refering to when they quoted 1 Peter 2:24 ?
The reason I ask is because this verse always raises a red flag for me, pointing to Prosperity/WoF/ Hyper Charismatics. They will often use this scripture to segway into a healing mode, a and make declaration and affirmations of healing which more than not produce not fruit. It is often more of a psychological frenzy.
This can often be indicativein their eschatology. Prosperity do ot like to talk about anyone coming to disturn their heaven on earth.
My personal view of 1 Peter 2:24 (in context) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Look at the starting words ; in His own self bore our "sins". We were healed of our sins. Isaiah 53 repeats this view; He was bruised for our iniquities.
I believe the atonement is ALL about forgiveness of sin. Jesus suffered for our sin, which leads to Salvation, if we follow. And salvation leads to Hevean where will be no more sickness, death or sorrow. Jesus' death makes the future incorruptable for we who believe.
So yes, absolutely God still heals, when God heals. But not by our declarations, but by His perfect will. I have seen many miracles in my day's but have come to realize that sometimes not being healed could be a better miracle for us.

But I would have to say to Jesus, Lord it is no longer a miracle to know the number of hairs on my head :)

May we all walk while it is day, in Christ Jesus we pray.

    1. LOL Joe, you made me laugh about the number of hairs on your head! But yes, I agree with you. The Charismatic WOF etc movements have definitely taken a few Scriptures and run with them, causing much havoc in the church. Does God heal? Absolutely! I've seen it too! Does He want us to walk in health? Of course. He's our Father! But ultimately, He wants what is best for us and sometimes that is not what we think it is. That's where faith and trust come in! As you and I were just talking about that young autistic man and how much good he is doing just the way he is! We will all understand when we get to Heaven!!
      Blessings!
