Dear Saints, this is a long post but I urge you to take your time with it, check out the Scriptures, and ask the Holy Spirit for discernment. All this information has a grand point at the end, so if you make it through, I hope it will encourage you.
His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:12
No one can deny that God is a farmer. Throughout Scripture there are many mentions of harvests. The timeline of ancient Israel revolves around seed planting and harvest times. Multiple times in the Gospels, Jesus, Himself, connected the harvest with salvation in many of his parables. Not only was this something the people at the time could understand, but there was something far deeper meant for all who believe.
Here are some Passages that describe God as a Gardner
The First Gardener (Genesis 2): God is described as planting the Garden of Eden. He "made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground" and personally tended the initial creation before delegating the task to Adam.
The Vinedresser (John 15): Jesus explicitly identifies His Father as the "vinedresser" (or "husbandman" in older translations like the KJV). In this metaphor, God is the one who prunes branches to ensure they become more fruitful.
The Owner of the Vineyard (Isaiah 5): Known as the "Song of the Vineyard," this passage describes God as a diligent farmer who clears stones, digs the soil, and plants "choice vines" on a fertile hill. It highlights His care for Israel as His "pleasant planting".
The Planter of the Field (1 Corinthians 3): Paul refers to the church as "God’s field" (or "God's husbandry"). While human leaders may plant or water, it is ultimately God who "makes the seed grow".
The Caretaker of Nature (Psalm 104): God is pictured as a gardener who "waters the mountains" and plants the great "cedars of Lebanon".
The Lord of the Harvest (Matthew 9): Jesus refers to God as the "Lord of the harvest," the one who has ultimate authority over the spiritual crop and sends workers into the field.
Several of the Jewish Feast days are connected to a Harvest. But God singles out Three of those feast days as being so special that He required every Israeli male to assemble in Jerusalem
Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year: You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt; none shall appear before Me empty); and the Feast of Harvest (Shavuot or Pentecost), the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering (Sukkot or Tabernacles) at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field. “Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord God. Exodus 23: 14-17
Each of these three harvests are associated with a specific crop
- Feast of Unleavened Bread: Barley harvest Season: Spring
- Feast of Harvest (Shavuot) Wheat harvest Season: Spring/Summer
- Feast of Ingathering (Tabernacles) Fruit or Grape harvest / Fall
Jesus described the Rapture as a Harvest in His parable of the Wheat and tares in Matthew 12-13
The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Matthew 13:38-39
In the first Scripture listed on this post, we see that Jesus gathers the wheat (believers) into the barn while the tares (lost) are burned.
The Earth is God's Garden and He is going to harvest out of it a people who have chosen Him, believed in Him, and followed Jesus. So why am I going into so much detail and proof? Because I want you to see that the rapture(s) are harvests. And these harvests are connected to the three Harvest Festivals of the Jews in which they were summoned to "assemble" at Jerusalem.
There are Three Harvests and hence there will be Three "raptures" or Three harvest times for the Earth. Why do I believe this? Because the First one has already occurred, and the last one is mentioned in Scripture as occurring at the end of the Tribulation.
Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. Matthew 27:51-53
This occurred right after Jesus's resurrection, which occurred during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is the First of three in which there is a harvest of souls and all Jewish men were to assemble in Jerusalem.
The LAST Harvest is mentioned in Revelation 14.
Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. Revelation 14:14-16
This occurs right before the Bowls of God's Wrath are poured out because the very next chapter talks about those bowls. Notice how the tabernacle fills with smoke here. That gives us a clue as to the timing.
After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands. Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed Revelation 15:5-9
How do we know when this occurred in relation to the Feast Days?
In ancient Israel, the tabernacle (and later the Temple) filled with smoke primarily during the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), when the High Priest entered the Holy of Holies, as detailed in Leviticus 16:13. He was required to burn incense, creating a cloud of smoke to cover the mercy seat and protect him from death.
So we have the first rapture harvest occurring during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the last one occurring around the time of the Day of Attonement and Tabernacles. Hmm. Seems there a pattern there.
One more small detail before we continue. First Fruits. With every harvest, there are first fruits. First fruits is a portion of the harvest that is the BEST portion of the early harvest. It always precedes the main harvest.
So who is the first fruits of the first rapture/harvest? It's Jesus himself!
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 1 Corinthians 15:20
If Jesus was the first fruit of that harvest, who, then, is the main harvest, which comes afterward? I believe it was the Old Testament saints who were raised from the dead right after Jesus did. (See Scripture above from Matthew 27)
Then who is the first fruit of the last rapture/harvest?
These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God. Revelation 14:4-5
This clearly states that the 144,000 are the first fruits of the last rapture. Later in that same chapter it describes this last rapture/harvest as seen above.
So we have the first fruits and main harvest listed for both the first rapture/harvest and the last rapture/harvest. So what about the rapture/harvest in the middle, the wheat harvest--the one that occurs around Pentecost or Shavuot?
I am not a prophet, but based on all this Scriptural evidence it seems to me that the middle rapture/harvest must occur around Pentecost and/or the Spring/Summer Wheat harvest.
Remember the Raptures are harvests as described in Scripture.
Hence it is reasonable to infer that if this is the year we leave, then we are now entering the season of the Wheat Harvest and Pentecost, which occurs 50 days after Resurrection Day. That is a big IF regarding the year. But if this is the year, I truly believe that our departure will occur during this season. Nothing else makes sense to me. That's why every year I get excited during the Spring and Early Summer.
(P.S. I also believe it's possible that we are part of the main Barley Harvest. The reason is that Barley is a grain that doesn't require pressure in order to harvest it. Whereas wheat must be pressed in order to remove it from its hard shell. Hence, I really don't know whether we are wheat or barley.)
Let's say we are wheat. Then who are the first fruits? This is where things start to drift a bit from what we know from Scripture. If you follow me here, you know I believe in 3 raptures: One before the Tribulation, One in the middle, and one at the end. We know from Scripture there are at least Two, right? We also know that in the middle of the Tribulation the two witnesses rise from the dead
But after three and a half days, by God’s gift the breath of life again entered into them, and they rose up on their feet, and great dread and terror fell on those who watched them. Then [the two witnesses] heard a strong voice from heaven calling to them, Come up here! And before the very eyes of their enemies they ascended into heaven in a cloud. And at that hour there was a tremendous earthquake and one tenth of the city was destroyed (fell); seven thousand people perished in the earthquake, and those who remained were filled with dread and terror and were awe-struck, and they glorified the God of heaven. Revelation 11:11-13
So, obviously there is a 2nd rapture in the middle of the Tribulation for at least the 2 witnesses after their ministry for 3.5 years (as Scripture says). Notice the massive Earthquake. There was also an Earthquake when Jesus resurrected. Earthquakes and resurrections go hand in hand.
And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled the boulder back and sat upon it. Matthew 28:2
We are not told if other people were harvested or raptured at that same time when the witnesses leave. So it's quite possible that on or around Pentecost in the middle of the Tribulation, there is a wheat harvest/rapture of more people than just the two witnesses.
But who are these people? Certainly they are people who got saved during the first half of the Tribulation. Yet what if they are also "believers" who got left behind when the bride was harvested pre-trib?
It is my belief and Scripture confirms that not everyone who believes in Jesus will be taken in the first rapture/harvest, which is the First Fruits Bride rapture. Only those who have made themselves ready, who love Jesus more than anything, and who are longing for his appearing. I've posted about this here multiple times, but I'm happy to provide Scriptures if asked.
The Bride is the first fruits of the wheat harvest. The remaining wheat have to go through the first half of the Tribulation in order to purify themselves to also be ready to be taken at the midway point. Then the main wheat harvest will be taken.
Unleavened Bread Barley Jesus Old Testament Saints
My beloved speaks and says to me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth and ripens her green figs, and the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. Song of Solomon 2:10-13
I went down into the nut orchard to look at the green plants of the valley, to see whether the grapevine had budded and the pomegranates were in flower. Before I was aware of what was happening, my desire had brought me into the area of the princes of my people [the king’s retinue]. Song of Solomon 6:11-12
In Summary, If we are in the year the Tribulation starts, I believe the Bride leaves very soon... during the Barley/Wheat harvest. And based on all the signs going on in the world right now, I think it's highly likely.
However, I'm not setting any dates. I'm just studying Scripture and making inferences hopefully by the Holy Spirit's leading.
So, I hope this encourages you. I know many of us are going through some rough times, but the Lord wants you to know that He knows, understands, and is with you. He's on His way and He will come in the nick of time. Trust Him. Spend the remainder of your time here in this age, growing more in Love with Him. He will never fail you!

Greetings Precious Sister in Christ,
ReplyDeleteHis winnowing *fan* is in His hand. I never saw this written this way. Usually say's fork. Yet it makes sense because I have often hear it said that those doing the seperating would toss the wheat and chaff up together and the wind would blow the chaff away !
I wish I could find the article I wrote some years ago about the grape vine. My gardening chores will keep me to busy today. But if I could just give a short thought of it; The grape vine is a precarious plant. It can both give life, as nutrition for the body, but also has the power to destroy anything in it's path. My Grampa brought vine from Italy, and established them here over a period of years. It was the most beautiful vine I'v ever seen. Trellised on a great arbor you could sit at the marble tables beneath the shade of it's great leaves. You could reach up at arms length and pick its juicey fruit. Grampa was always tending those vines. Always pinching pruning and wrapping the vine to grow exactly how he wanted it. A great memory watching how much he loved and cared for the vines. I've been at it in a very small way 5 years now and have a long way to go to have vines like Grampas. Thats the beauty of the vine, but here's the chaff. I'm sure we've all seen wild grape vines growing in the woods, or along a property that was onced taken great care of. Maybe the original owner has passed, and the vine has been neglected for years. Grapes vines are a tanacious grower once its well established. If left un attended it will grow on, over or even through anything that it can use to expands its growth. It will pull up fences, climb up trees and choke them off, up telephone poles. The stronger and bigger it grows, the more fruit it will produce, yet most of that fruit will not be sweet and edible. We;ve heard the term "sour grapes". This is a picture of the church today, big showy leaves. Purple clusters of fruit that will sour your stomach and make you sick.
I love this idea of three raptures Sister. This would definately explain a lot of the gray area's of who will and will not be saved. There is a script that say,s; 1 Cor 3:15 AMP
But if any person’s work is burned up [by the test], he will suffer the loss [of his reward]; yet he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has barely escaped] through fire.
I always wondered about those old Saints who were raised with Jesus ?
And I wonder about the wheat and barley ? It seems to me, at least in my life, that I have been squeezed, picked, plucked, burnt and pressed over and over. I lean toward we are wheat , but thats just my thoughts.
1 Peter 1:…5who through faith are shielded by God’s power for the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in various trials 7so that the proven character of your faith—more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.…
Awesome word Sister. I'm gonna keep this for a second read.
Christ's peace to you.
You are the Vine Dresser, Brother! Yes, I remember you talking about your grandfather's vineyard. So cool! Interesting, how left on its own, the vine becomes wild and ruinous and sour. It does sound like our modern day church!
DeleteSo interesting... but in my daily reading today I read 1 Corinthians 3! Then I came here and read your comment... Escaping through fire could definitely relate the the believers left behind!
No idea who the Saints were from OT who were raised? Perhaps Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David? I don't know... but I do believe the "Holy City" it speaks of where they wandered about was not the earthly Jerusalem, but the heavenly one!
Blessings, Brother!
Hello Sister in Christ,
ReplyDeleteVery captivating post. I feel I have been looking up more than ever and paying close attention to anything that could be from God, notably my neighbor’s lamps. I believe the Lord prompted you to post this since He knows I have been looking forward reading a topic that really grabs my interest: Rapture harvests and when they may happen.
I am not a farmer so I may be unfamiliar with some farming methods and terminology, but I can see how the Raptures are like harvests where the Lord reaps those truly in Christ away from the field that is the Earth. I also know that that Scripture uses wheat, barley, and grapes as the main harvest resources, but since I am not that bright from an analytical standpoint, I may not understand them well like you do and would not have viewed them symbolically in reference to Raptures.
Reading through the content, some questions came up:
1. For the Barley harvest, has there really been a Rapture for this long time ago? Since the post stated “already happened,” I have never known about this and I am a little confused. Please clarify this perhaps?
2. From what I currently know, could there only be two Raptures between now and the Second Coming? They are the imminent Bride harvest and the one for the Two Witnesses and possibly others as you posted? I could be wrong, but these are the two I know by heart are appointed to happen.
3. For the final Rapture harvest, is this the one that occurs before the Bowls or the Second Coming? I don’t think it is the latter since it may not make sense for people to be Rapture just before the Second Coming, but since your post stated “at the end of the Tribulation,” may I get some elaboration on this?
4. If the mid-Tribulation Rapture is for the Two Witnesses, does that mean the first 3.5 years of their ministry is also when the Seals and Trumpets take place? I believe the Two Witnesses come between the Sixth and Seventh Trumpets, so I am wondering if this may hint the timing of when the judgments occur?
5. I read an article on Five Doves that there is a mystery calculation that pinpoints the actual date of Pentecost, meaning it may not be on May 24 this year as traditionally observed. The clarification was a bit complex, but it yielded July 19 as the actual date, interestingly right around the supposed New Wine season. Here is the link: The calculation of the day Feast of Pentecost for the year 2026. May I check your thoughts on this supposition?
I personally think that assuming there are no prophetically significant times in April, I am looking at May 14-15 (Israel’s 78th anniversary and also 40 days after Jesus’s Ascension) and May 24 (Pentecost date if Question 5 above is not credible) of potential departure times. Also, I tend to believe that we should be gone before the alien disclosures for revealing the narrative BEFORE we leave (assuming the Rapture may be in Summer), because it would be inefficient and may lead some people to start suspecting the evil forces at work if it were AFTER we leave. As an end note, it does not seem like we would be here later in the Summer or Fall perhaps? What are your thoughts on this?
A bit of news: “peace” talks are underway between US and Iran, but with Israel launching strikes at Lebanon claiming Lebanon is “not part of the ceasefire,” we should know this is all merely an act, isn’t it? Even though some ships are setting sail again at the Strait of Hormuz, it definitely won’t be long before it all stops again.
Also, the astronauts from the Artemis II mission came back last night. First thing I am wondering is, any news regarding supposed “alien encampments on the moon” per one of your recent posts. If so, there may still be time for them to strengthen the narrative prior to summer, is there?
Thanks for this post Sister and see you and all other Brothers and Sisters in Christ in the clouds soon. Peace and Blessings from a Brother in Christ.
Greetings Brother. Let me try and answer your questions as well as I can.
Delete1. Yes. There was a rapture right after Jesus's resurrection. If you go through the Scriptures I listed in the post, you'll see it plainly spelled out. Jesus was the firstfruit of that harvest, then the OT Saints came up out their graves and were seen in the Holy City (Jerusalem in heaven). Therefore, they were raptured.
2. There should be 3 more raptures between now and the 2nd coming. The Firstfruit Bride, the Wheat harvest (I contend will be mid-trib along with the 2 witnesses) and then the Fruit harvest at the end right before the 2nd coming.
3. The final rapture/harvest which is the fruit harvest occurs Before the bowls of wrath are poured out. These bowls are poured out during the days of Awe Between Attonement and Tabernacles, which only lasts 10 days. Before that, Rev 14 reveals a harvest of the Earth. The good grapes go with Jesus, the bad ones are put in the winepress. Whether that occurs right before the 2nd coming or at the moment of the 2nd coming, we don't know. Hope that helps
4. I do not know how many of the seals and trumpets occur during the first half of the Tribulation. Scholars can only guess because Scripture doesn't directly specify.
5. I do not follow five doves and I actually rarely listen or watch anyone who predicts dates. So, I cannot say anything about New Wine or when the actual pentecost is. Sorry. All I know is we are IN the Season now... and I don't believe we will see August. But I could be wrong.
Yes.. I'm watching the "peace" talks... but I don't think they will work. IN the meantime, Trump is sending over more military and weapons.. so it seems he doesn't think they will work either.
I have no idea what Artemis found on the moon and I doubt any of us will hear about it. I also heard they were sent up to open a portal? Who knows. I'm not even sure there is a moon to land on or outerspace at this point. I've seen so much evidence to the contrary, but I stay away from that topic. Nothing is as it seems! Only Jesus! He is Truth!
Stay strong, Brother! Blessings!
Hi MaryLu, Thank you so much for yet another SO Uplifting an article!! Injecting, SO MUCH HOPE that our (long awaited) Rescue, is very likely .... AT THE DOOR!! We could very well be hearing the Trumpet Blast within the next few weeks, Hallelujah !! We are near the end of 6 days (6000 years) We are near the end of a generation..... Israel is almost 80 & we "fly away" Two days are passed and on the 3rd He will revive us. ISRAEL (the FIG Tree reviving, has returned to the land, JERUSALEM retaken (not trampled down by gentiles, this generation shall not pass & the 3rd Temple (with Red Heifer ashes) ready to be built. Wars and rumors of wars (ISRAEL, wearing the bullseye), global financial crash near, rampant One World Religion/Aposticy/Scoffing/ , Travel & Knowledge exploding, Celestial Omens, Nature ROARING, signs in every direction one looks! (BESIDES all these;) MIND Bending Earth Shaking changes are upon the CUSP; A. I. SINGULARITY will very shortly ENSLAVE all Mankind with god-like omniscients. Or even better unite with it & become a HYBIRD!! THE coming GREAT RESET, one world, Global authority to monitor & control Humanity via Digital accounts assisted by A.I. The coming DISCLOSURE our ALIEN Creators are making CONTACT to assist it's creation. (Big Lie of Demonic Delusion) Of course CERN will likely contribute by releasing the chained demons from the pit to plague earth as well! Even with this long descriptive list , I have likely only scratched the surface of describing the TSUNAMI of END TIME signs intensifying/converging, likened to labor pains prior to Birth! i will conclude with an analogy that I have been feeling of late.
ReplyDeleteThis describes the Rampant complacency & apathy of most church pastors across the land.
Near the expected birth of the Promised Messiah ........Three Wise Men from afar had studied the scriptures and where led to go search for Him and bring gifts to Honor Him. I feel if they visited most churches today inquiring of the soon coming Savior ( witness to a Tsunami of signs) they would be told: we cant set dates, many have mistakenly thought it was close, too many to save yet, we cant know even Jesus does not know...ect Not yet...............SO JUST HURRY BACK TO YOUR HOME & WE Will LET YOU KNOW WHEN TO LOOK!!! JESUS rebuked the religious leaders; you can discern the weather but do not see the scriptures promised signs of the times fulfilled in your face. EXACTLY the repeat of TODAY!!! Fulfillment is SCREAMING out & yet most Shepard's are willingly SILENT, BLIND & ASLEEP. This is so very sad no awareness when the time for it is MOST IMPERATIVE!! TITUS 2 V 13 MARANATHA!! ron garbe
Oh my, Ron! Your analysis and list of all that is going on as it relates to Bible prophecy is astounding! You even got my pulse racing! LOL And I know it all.. but to hear it all stated in one place. Then of course the sleeping church.. and all their excuses for not preparing the Bride! My last pastor at the last church I attended told me end times was too scary and controversial to preach on. I just shook my head. Wow. But the sleeping church will not be taken and that breaks my heart. They will wake up! But they will have to go through some tough times.
DeleteYou are right. How sad! It is such a privilege to be alive in this time!! To be a witness to these prophesied events and to be a part of the rapture. And yet.. .so many can't see it.
Come, Lord Jesus. I can't wait to hear that Trumpet and my name called!! "Come up Here!" You won't have to ask me twice. Blessings!
