Without Holiness, No one will see God

Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will ever see the Lord.  Hebrews 12:14

I'm hearing that some pastors and churches...in fact not some, but many are preaching today that repentance is a "Work", and if you repent of your sins you are actually trying to work for your salvation and cannot be truly saved. When I first heart this, it shocked me to my core.

Guess how many times the word, Repent appears in the King James Bible ?

New Testament  60 Times

Old Testament  45 Times. .

Repentance occurs 25 Times in the New Testament.

I think God is serious about Repentance. When Jesus walked this Earth, he constantly told people to repent, and He commanded the 7 churches in Revelation to repent over and over.

If only people would read the following parable of Jesus!  It would clear up their delusions straight away.

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Luke 18:9-14

  1. Hello Devoted Follower of God,

That is so true and it is just sad how churches and pastors are doing something so dishonorable to God. This is a reason why I do not really trust that going to church would make much difference in bettering people - some may attend and praise the Lord, but once they step outside of the church, they revert back to committing sin. I remember being told long ago that there were people who went back to mistreating people, falling into arrogance, and committing various crimes (arson was an example) once they leave the church.

All sin is detestable to the Lord, but is there one sin that is worst among all possible offenses? It is not deliberately refusing to believe in Him, but pretending and claiming to be a devoted follower while stealthily committing offenses. An example is disrespecting and mistreating certain people while being pleasantly nice to everyone else, and with the hope that those who are oblivious to the real them would never find out. Do you believe this is abominable to the Lord? Would God frown upon a fraudulent believer more than an atheistic person?

Nisan 10 was yesterday the 8th (which was a highly anticipated Rapture date to some people) and we are still here, so the next High Watch timeframe for the Rapture would be this coming Passover weekend going to Easter (April 12-20). I am wondering about May (Israel’s 77th anniversary of born as a nation) or June (Pentecost on the 8th). I saw some Youtube videos of some self-claimed believers adamantly insisting that it was going to be on 4/08, but now that it is 4/09, they may be going through derision today. I even saw comments stating it will be just like before, when the Rapture/Tribulation/Second Coming is anticipated to happen soon, and nothing happens. In other words, 2025 will go by as usual just like any other year. This makes it tempting for some people to start doubting, but they may be underestimating the evil in this world and of course, the planned June conference that could precede the signing of the prophesied covenant. What are your thoughts on this?
Also is the Timing of these events based on the time zone in Israel or in America? I think Israel is like ten hours ahead of America so it would be interesting to know.

In Heaven, would we still be speaking English amongst each other? Since Jesus spoke Aramaic/Hebrew during His time on Earth, would we be speaking the same language or would English be the primary language considering it is spoken by the vast majority of believers? This is just out of curiosity.

Thanks for the uplifting message and keep up the hard work with spreading God’s Word. Have a blessed day!

    1. Greetings! There are many tares among the wheat in today's Church. Jesus told us the way to Him was very narrow and only a few find it. It's sad. But yes, many believers are Christians in name only. We know them by their fruits. We are all on our own journey with Jesus and are at different stages of growth, but if we know someone who is blatantly willfully committing sins over and over and is not repentant, then most likely that person is not saved at all. The unforgivable sin is rejecting Jesus, yes! But I do believe that God hates those who are pretenders, who claim to be Christians and yet live like the world.
Regarding all the rapture date setters, I no long pay much attention to them. I used to watch every person with a date or dream, but it can be very frustrating and so many of them are only doing it for money. Yes, they make a ton of money on You tube from each "view" and each Subscriber and Like. So if someone is always encouraging you to like, subscribe, share, etc.. they are probably just in it for the money. So, be careful to believe these people. There are a few good ones, but not many. Having said all of that, we are in a very high watch season all the way to mid June, in my opinion... this is the Barley and Wheat Harvest time.. very important to God's prophetic clock. So, we keep looking up. I do believe this is the year, but I'm allowing for the Lord's perfect planning and timing!
Whatever language we speak in Heaven, everyone will know it and understand each other! I really have no idea.. but yes, Hebrew is the heavenly language so we might have to learn it!
      Blessings!

  2. Greeting Precious Scribe to the Lord,
I have this Luke 18 on a sticky note on my desk ready to post :)

This is just the tip of the iceberg of apostasies' going round in the churches.

1 You dont need to repent every time you sin ( Jesus already forgave all your sins past present and future) Some want the word removed .

2 You dont have to repeat the name of Jesus over and over again while you pray

3 we are little gods, speaking to Luke 18 "everyone who exalts himself shall be abased".

4 we are in the Trinity

5 if Jesus's suffering saved many, how many more could be saved by our suffering !!!

6 fear doesnt mean fear in the Bible.

7 the millemial reign is the biggest made up story in the Bible

8 K. Copeland " you know where God say's in the Bible, I AM, I just look at Him and say I AM too" !

9 we're not just a little like Jesus, we're exactly like Jesus.

I could go on a mile long with this stuff.

The face of the church is being totally remade in mans new version/interpretation of the Bible. Some want to get rid of the book of Revelation altogether.
Well I cant say that I blame them their being that the judgements that Johns describe set for blasphemers is for them !!!!!!!!

The sheep have become lemmings and they are rushing over the cliffs following these false preachers ! They seem to be totally blind. And these are not your average people that go to church to say they did. These are people who study scripture, who pray for the sick, they preach the Gospels, or at least their version of it. These are dedicated people. They just dont see the are not only believeing the lie, but they are spreading the lie ???
Romans 1: 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is forever worthy of praise! Amen.

    Jeremiah 5:29-31
    New American Standard Bible 1995
29 ‘Shall I not punish [a]these people?’ declares the Lord,
‘On a nation such as this
    Shall I not avenge Myself?’

30 “An appalling and horrible thing
    Has happened in the land:
    31 The prophets prophesy falsely,
    And the priests rule [b]on their own authority;
And My people love it so!
But what will you do at the end of it?

Let us hold onto the TRUTH that we have been given and never give it up , in Christ our Lord !

    1. Hey Brother, you need to come on here and tell us what you've learned in all your research! I'm sure we all could benefit from the warnings. What do you say?

  3. I wish I could send you a picture of my wall. No not my computer wall, my literal bedroom wall. My white board is covered with scripture and sticky note. Notes all over my desk. Its all a scatter.
I'm not a gifted writer as you Sister. I will see if I can organize some of this into a presentable manner. But it will take a while. :)
