Good morning Sister MaryLu, Forgive me, but I went to Catholic school, so when I wrote your name that way it sounded like the name of a Nun :) Yeah, Orwell was right on target. David Wilkerson prophesied a lot on this kind of stuff. That was back in the 70's, when I used to listen to him and get his news letters. He took a lot of heat back then from the orthodox church, but when you look back I can see most of what he spoke as todays truth. We see very few true prophets today. And the church seems to think that prophecy is their play toy !!! The church I left I was actually on the prophetic team. Not that I claim to be a prophet, but I often received words of knowledge from the Lord, for the church. I kept getting corrected because they only wanted up lifting and edifying words for people. Finally the pastor wrote a script with directions of how to prophesy, I read it and it was literally written like a stage play, and we were supposed to sign off in agreement with him.. That saturday I was at the church doing repairs, the pastor and his hit man were there. The assit pastor approached me and asked why I hadnt signed off, I simply told him I didnt agree with any of it, and that I wanted to step down from that ministry. He said, Joe, I didnt agree with it at first, but I read it 5 times and then I signed the agreement. Read it a few more times and you'll understand it. I looked up at the pastor who was standing above us on the stage packing up his music equiptment, and replied, I didnt agree with the first time I read, I wont keep reading it until I believe it ! The pastor shot out of there like bullet ! I posted a very interesting post from Melissa Daugherty, and Apologist. She interviews a lady, (forget her name), both are solid women in the word. But this lady was training to be a brain surgeon. She had also attended seminary. Through her journey she found many people preaching falsely and felt a calling to minister to them. So she branched her field into the study of these false teachers to see what made them tick. The short of it is that most are narcassisits, which is actually a form of brain illness. These false preachers are convinced they cannot be wrong about anything, and that if you oppose them, there is something wrong with you. And because their minds cannot comprehend truth, their brains have actually developed a way to manipulate people to come over to their truth !!! This is where people like Keneth Copeland, Bill Johnson, and the rest of these looneys come from. They so elevate themselves that they cant understand why anyone would disagree with them. Great study if your interested.

Hey Brother Joe.! Yes I remember you telling me the story of your last church. So glad you left! Directions on how to prophesy? And you had to sign it! RED FLAG!! What a mess our modern day churches are in! I agree that most, if not all, of the false teachers and prophets are narcissists. However, I'm on the fence as to whether it's a brain disease or more of a spiritual disease.. as in demon infestation. It's hard to believe that God would give anyone a brain disease that would prevent them from even being able to do the right thing... but either way, these people need help and prayer! Blessings!
Back then, I would never have thought of or suspected this to be part of prophetic warnings. I remember reading 1984 back in like middle or high school and thought it was just an ordinary science fiction novel, but now it is very intriguing just as how all the current evil was prophesied long time ago. The terms “Big Brother” and “Room 101” still resonate clearly whenever I hear of this book, representing the government and greatest fears respectively.
Isn’t it also interesting how the Terminator movie was filmed and released that exact year in 1984? Then again, no one would have ever thought of how the theme symbolizes what is to come in the future and actually becomes a reality. Maybe people were also too busy focusing on the Summer Olympics that took place in Los Angeles that year as a mere distraction. Do you think there are people who were growing up then now realize this and become speechless due to surprise?
Per the image, while it is so normal today to see people completely peering at phones nonstop, perhaps it was also predicted that there will be a great resource of distraction that will prevent people from acknowledging reality, and that resource turned out to be iPhones? It has been like 25 years or so when Apple first introduced the iPod and later the iPad and iPhone made their debut and became upgraded versions to what we have now. It is like how demonic forces knew that technology will be the major source of diversion and division for people, and Apple may have taken the role of ensuring it comes to fruition?

Ah yes.. The Terminator. I remember watching that movie when it first came out.. and I was like... this is pure science fiction. No way robots can think for themselves and do things like that... and now we are there! Amazing. The predictive programming is astounding. Now, they are programming us to accept that Aliens are coming. Your question about people growing up back in the 80s recognizing what is happening..? MOST have no clue. They don't have a thought beyond their own lives and issues and pleasures. Even most Christians. You see the Apple Logo? It's an apple with a bite out of it. It represents Eve taking a bite out of the apple in Eden.. the acquiring of knowledge. So , yes. Apple is definitely in on all the new tech that is used to not only distract people and keep their minds occupied, but it is a way to propagandize them too.. I also tend to believe that demons can come through these black screens we stare at constantly... particularly if we look at certain things. Every day, I ask Jesus to cover all the screens in my house with His blood to keep us safe. Have a wonderful day too, Brother!
