Why is it that 99% of Christians I meet have ZERO clue about the times we are living in? If I bring it up, they shrug and offer some company line about "not knowing the day or hour" or Jesus isn't coming for years... or we can't understand end times...etc.. etc... Then there are those who say they are just living their life now, enjoying what God has blessed them with... and not focusing on negative things.
Yet throughout the Scripture, we are told to WATCH and BE READY. I don't think Jesus was making suggestions...but rather commandments. He also warned us over and over about being deceived. I've covered these topics many times here on this blog.
I've come to the conclusion that most of the people who have no idea we are so close to the end are people who love this world and their lives here in this world. For that reason, they can't conceive of being taken out of it. Some don't want to leave. Others are excited about future plans, college, marriage, vacations, grandkids, etc. Or that new car or job! Blows my mind. Can't they see the evil growing all around them? Even the unbelievers can see it.
I recently was chatting with a Christian lady and she mentioned something about a plan she had in 3 years, and I said, "I don't think we'll be here in 3 years." And she sort of huffed and waved off my comment like I was insane.
Yet Scripture plainly tells us that if you love this world and the things of this world, the love of God is NOT in you. I would say, especially NOW, in this wicked world when immorality is at an all time high and corruption and evil are everywhere. How can any God-fearing person love a world where fornication, adultery, violence, homosexuality and transgenderism is celebrated all over our media, TV shows, news, etc. Where child trafficking, child mutilation, children being sacrificed to Baal, is being exposed to the public. And the perpetrators are those in high office and our movie stars, musicians and idols! WHAT? And you want to stay here? You want to embrace this? Or do you just have your head stuck in the sand, believing all the lies of the mainstream media?
We see digital currency rising, AI surveillance, Digital ID, Social credit scores and no Christian thinks anything of it. Have they never read Revelation? My bet is no. And their pastor isn't talking about it either. In fact many pastors don't even believe in the rapture anymore.
How convenient it will be for these ignorant believers to fall for the Antichrist when he arrives, claiming to be Jesus.
But I digress. That's not the point of this post. The point is simple. If you love this world and the things of this world, you are not in Christ. Whether that means you're saved or not, is not up to me. God will sort it out in the end. But let's look at a few alarming Scriptures!
Anyone who loves his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. Whoever has no love for, no concern for, no regard for his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and ever. John 12:25 Amplified
If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you. John 15:18
For Demas has deserted me for love of this present world and has gone to Thessalonica; 2 Timothy 4:10
In the above Scripture, Paul is talking about a fellow believer who left him and the faith because he loved the present world more.
You are like unfaithful wives having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God! Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God. James 4:4 Amplified
Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15
Now, I know we have to live in this world and go about our daily tasks, working, paying bills, cleaning, cooking, caring for children and the elderly in our family... and it's not at all wrong to plan for a vacation or save money for college, or even plan a wedding. As long as we are here, we have to live. What I'm saying is are you living FOR those things. Are the things of this world what excite you, what you look forward to, what you live for? If so, then there might be a problem. Are you seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God, or your own kingdom?
However, here's what I believe the Lord wants me to warn you about. If you love this world and the things of the world more than Him, you are at great risk of being deceived in these last days. There is already so much deception going on, but it's going to get worse. If you aren't close to Jesus and putting Him first in your life, it's going to be very easy to fall for the false Christ they bring on the scene. You may say "No way, I would fall for that". Don't be so naive. I pray for discernment every day. I pray not to be deceived every day. Check your heart. Make Jesus your first and only love. If He isn't, if your eyes are not on Him, but on the world, you're going to believe the lie.
This world is passing away. There is no Golden Age coming. The Tribulation is coming. Everything you've known and loved about this world is about to be eaten away by the darkness.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus! Look full in His wonderful Face. And the things of this Earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and Grace!

This was a timely word. I was reading 2 John this morning and going through some of the commentaries on it. Here is the verse that struck me:
ReplyDelete2 John 1:7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.
This is talking about denial of the incarnation, denial of Jesus, the Son of God walking on this earth AND a denial of the reality of His second Advent. The spirit of the antochrist is working hard to convince people that all will go back to normal. The truth is so obvious but the spirit of the antichrist is blinding people’s minds to it. The scripture warns us to watch out. Deception is all around us. False teachers abound. We must stay in the Word and abide in Jesus.
Amen! Absolutely. I never thought of it that way, but yes.. it's the spirit of antichrist that is leading people to think everything will return to normal and we will have a Golden age on Earth. Abide in Jesus! Amen
DeleteGreetings Duaghter of the Most High,
ReplyDeleteI get the silent treatment many times when I bring up end times truth. Usually that means I'm being negative, and Christians are being programmed to be happy, happ, happy thoughts only ! Positive energy has replaced the Holy Spirit reality !
I actualy had an 86 year old woman on my buss a while back, who I drove to many weeks of radiation treatments. I did meet her grandaughter who rode with us for her first trip. The grandaughter was a, I believe, a solid Christian. The old woman used a walker, one of those with a seat that has a pouch under it for phones, pocket books etc. While I was putting the walker on the bus the pouch was opened and there was a book from Joel Olsteen; Live Your Best Life Now ! Wow. Made me wonder how solid the grandaughter relly was ?
As you saymost people, including Christians are very happy here with what they consider the blessing from God because they live good lives ! My friend who I've mentioned had become like this. He came from a family of 9, and grew up poor. His father was a jerk. This guy had several severe inlesses as a kid. Got electricuted at 15, lost half his foot, messed up hands. But he could our work the rest of us. A tanacious little guy, very humble. He married a good friend of my wife and mine. She had a handicapped son, a man now, from a previous relatiship. My friend has a brother with downsyndrome. The wife receives a very generous salalry for care giver for both of these. When her Dad died she was left with a good inheritance. This guy worked hard and made a beautiful house out of the run down place they bought many years ago. I helpedin many of his projects. He is a builder and does great work. He retired last year. And has been really living it up. Not necassarily on anything bad. But this once humble guy suddenly has to have top of the line everything, and he is become quite boastful about it, and it bothers me. As I was praying for him last night it occured to me, I liked him much better when he was dumb and humble ! Then I prayed for myself that I wasnt being merely envious ? I had to laugh, because my answer was, no, you are still dumb and humble :) And I take pleasure in that because I know God has given me wisdom to not be deceived by the riches of this world. Thank you Lord !
About your Lady friend making her 3 year plans, Pastor was talking about false prophets, and one had booked a conference on the Rapture and End Times prophecy. He predicted the end was coming the next year. But someone noticed in this prophets future confrences, that he hda booked this same seminar, in this same location the following year ! lol. The prophet didnt evenbeieve his own prophecy !
No Sister, they read it, they just dont understand it. But thats because it doesnt make sense to them. And we have people like Brian Simmons ( TPT), saying out loud, the millenial reign is the biggest lie in the Bible !!! They dont understand because God has gives them over to the delusions of their own minds !
Prosperity preachers love the last part of Matt 6:33 and all these things will be given to you as well !
Love that song Sister.
Grace and peace to you in this storm we are in.
Hi Brother. Yes, many Christians are completely fooled. Joel Olsteen? I mean if you have any discernment at all, you should know what a fake he is. That's too bad about your dumb, humble friend. Riches are very deceiving. The Scriptures has lots to say about the evils of wealth. Money and "things" can easily distract even the most dedicated believer. But I'm glad to hear you are still humble and dumb. I'm in that club too!
DeleteThat's a crazy story about that pastor who predicted the rapture... but then made plans for future conferences. Wow. I guess there's a lot of that going around right now.
Also didn't know that Simmons said the millennial reign is the biggest lie? WOW. I fear for his eternity because to me, that borderlines on blasphemy... Doesn't it say in Revelation that if anyone adds or takes away from the writings in that book that ALL the curses within it would fall up on them?
Blessing Joe!
Hello Sister in Christ,
ReplyDeleteLike you, I am also disappointed by how so many “Believers” would still have zero clue about what is coming. If they truly are in Christ and at least know some notable Scriptures, especially regarding the End Times, then things may be different.
Imagine if they got a future glimpse of the Tribulation, or more appropriately, Hell itself - would they then reconsider their actions? It is like Ebenezer Scrooge seeing his own fate from the Ghost of Christmas Future and then pleading to redeem himself, but do you feel most still will not until perhaps during the Tribulation?
I am sure they will not want to live a life in which the only way you will be able to do anything is taking the MOB - I feel education is gradually being ruined to wipe away any teaching that does not align with the Devil’s agenda, and regarding marriage and kids, think about those who later experience heartbreak, fraud, and even domestic violence, especially with the Restrainer out of the way. Also for vacationing, we could not really go anywhere without having an impression that we are being spied on or watched by demonic forces, even if it is not obviously so just by sight. Do you believe this could be true? That is why I will never find anything enjoyable about this world again.
About the lady who brushed you off after you implied the Tribulation (we won’t be here in 3 years), if it were me, I would instantly think “lukewarm” or “false Christian/CINO,” and move on. Be thankful for I am sure there will be “Believers” who will do something dishonorable than simply look at you with distrust from saying that. Do you agree with this Sister?
Also about that quote about Demas disowning Paul, could this be seen as like Paul’s Judas considering how Paul was in prison and Demas abandoned him right during a fragile time when he needed him?
I read this article from River Wilde’s blog and I feel the Lord is urging me to share it with you. It is regarding something that I am sure you have been wondering about for some time. The link is here: https://gospelofjesuschrist.blog/2026/02/15/my-conversation-today-with-grok-when-is-jesus-christ-returning-and-when-will-the-7-year-peace-agreement-be-signed-a-must-read-kjv/
Please note that while it is only speculation, you may have to admit that this year seems very promising, especially with an AI source even acknowledging its likelihood. I would be interesting in hearing your thoughts on this.
One question I have about the above is, while it may be factual that AI can be useful in providing some true or accurate information , we must never blind to the power of deception and its true purpose, right?
Have a great day Sister and Peace and Blessings from a Brother in Christ.
Yes, Brother! If people could get a glimpse of what is coming in the Tribulation, they'd run and fall at Jesus's feet now! But so many don't even think it will happen or is real. This is a fault of Satan infiltrating the church and causing pastors to not preach on these things, AND on people themselves not reading the Bible. All their plans for the future will be wiped out in an instant, and then they will know. But it makes me sad.
DeleteThis particular lady I spoke about appears to be a decent Christian so I'm going to give her some more time and bring up end times again and maybe I can help her see the light. She's been going to mainstream church all her life. So, I'm not ready to give up on her yet.
I did read through that article where AI answered this man's questions. It's important to remember that currently, at least in this version presented to the public, AI is only programmed to scour the internet and gather information... so it seems that's what happened here. IT searched articles, Scripture, opinion pieces, etc and came up with the most likely scenario. I will admit that it seems quite logical and definitely in the realm of possibility. The most interesting thing I found was that there is a hidden 7 year framework within the Board of Peace, which I didn't realize. So, that makes it highly prophetic. We are definitely in the season... but keep your eyes on Jesus! He's the only one who knows when He's coming! Blessings!
Greetings Holy Messenger of God,
ReplyDeleteI agree it is embittering how there are people who claim to be Christians, go to church, and believe in Jesus, but could not comprehend what kind of evil is going on, let alone why this evil is really happening in relation to Scripture.
Once AI fully controls everything and demons go on a rampage to persecute anyone who opposes the Devil’s eventual reign during the Tribulation, would anyone finally realize they were deceived? One thing that is so ironic is, no one likes to be tricked, yet these people willingly let themselves be deceived by refusing to listen or by mocking God thinking that just because they believe, they can still live life however they see fit while ignoring the signs.
I feel there are true Believers who may grow upset that certain people, particularly those who have wronged them without a shred of remorse in the past, are suddenly turning to Jesus but out of complete selfishness, as in “repenting” to saving only themselves, which also includes anyone that they approve of via judgment (Jesus said He loves everyone unconditionally, and these people exemplify the complete opposite as in only those they accept deserve to be part of their “salvation.”). Do you have people like these too?
We shouldn’t be bitter about this because if those people do show up in Heaven, that means they truly repented and accepted Christ and would transformed into sweet, loving people as if they never mistreated anyone, but if not, wouldn’t God’s justice be the ultimate act of avenging us? Simply put, it will be a win-win situation for us in either situation, right?
However, I believe that once the Devil is released after the Millennium, there will still be those who join him for the final rebellion against God - why would people still resort to that after experiencing a thousand years of pure goodness? Unless they are people who still do not have glorified sinless bodies, I am perplexed at how such people would be let into the Millennium, but as God will erase all evil forever, we will let things happen as they are and let God carry out His will.
I looked at the article posted by the previous commenter and I was also amazed to hear about the 7-year framework. This must mean we are very close to leaving, especially if it becomes the actual covenant and is fully ratified sometime during the second half of the year. I was wondering if it really is around the Jewish feasts in September, wouldn’t some people feel that would be Jesus completing the three final unfulfilled Feasts (Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles)? Also another indicator to confirm this really is the framework for the Covenant is the rebuilding of the Third Temple, which I don’t think has been hinted yet.
Regardless, we should be overjoyed for we are going home soon and until then, continue living as usual in however many months we have left.
I remember hearing that in Heaven, some worldly things nearly all of us experience such as marriage, reproduction, etc, these will not exist there, but when we return to Earth for the Millennium, will we have these again only in a perfected world? And also during and beyond the New Jerusalem when a New Heaven and New Earth are created?
Blessings and keep praising and staying strong in the Lord, for He will bring us home soon!
Greetings!
DeleteIf people are turning to Jesus out of fear and selfish reasons, then I doubt their salvation would be genuine. The Lord knows each heart intimately, and He only accepts those who come to him humble and truly repentant of their sins, including the way they have treated others.
We are to love our fellow believers and if people aren't doing that.. if they are being cruel to some, while accepting others, then my guess is they either aren't saved or they aren't allowing the Holy Spirit to change their hearts. Either way, put them in God's hands and let Him deal with them. If they do end up in heaven, they would have to have completely changed and repented and I would bet that they would approach you and others they hurt and ask for forgiveness. I know I have some people I need to find and ask their forgiveness for things I have done. So, yes, a win-win!
In the Millennial reign, there will be people in human form without glorified bodies. Where did they come from? There will be some humans left who didn't take the MOB and who survived the Tribulation. And these are the people who will multiple on Earth and who we will rule over with Jesus. But because they have not been truly tested as to whether they will accept Jesus or not, that's why the devil has to be released to give them the choice. It blows my mind that some will rebel against Jesus after seeing how wonderful life is in the 1000 year reign, But the devil is very sneaky and a liar.. so yes, they will follow him.
The final 3 feast days/appointments I believe will be fulfilled at the End of the Tribulation. I do not believe the first rapture will happen on these feast days... It could happen any time and Spring is a good time.
I do not know the answer to your question about marriage in the Millennial reign. Jesus spoke only about Heaven, so we have no Scripture to go by. Time will tell.
Blessings to you and yours!
