The Bidden Ones - Get Oil and Clean Your Lamp!

Saints, I came across this prophetic word online from Watchman  Justin Adkinson. It is the same word I've been preaching for years. It's a vitally important word due to the shortness of the hour!  Please pass along!

January 17, 2026 The Bidden Ones - Get Oil and Clean Your Lamp

And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We, who are born again and made new in Jesus Christ, are the bidden ones. Those who know the truth and believe in Jesus are also submitting themselves to God and making Jesus Lord of their life. God is telling all that can hear his servants, the wedding for His Son is ready! He is saying, Come! He is inviting you to come. Get ready because the bridegroom is coming suddenly! We are all being warned so that we can all make sure that our heart/garment is clean before God. We all would make sure our clothing for a wedding was all ready to be worn and without spot or blemish or even wrinkles. For an actual wedding you would put on your best clothing, and most people would make sure that it was not dirty, wrinkled, or have any spot on it in any way. If this is what we would do for an actual wedding here on earth, then why wouldn’t a professing Christian want to make sure their heart was clean before God everyday?

This is what I asked God and he has told me before, many times, it’s all about the heart. Why do so many refuse to get ready?

They do not feel they need to purify their heart and make sure they are not holding onto hidden sins. God is inviting us all to this wedding supper of the Lamb. He is speaking to all who can hear the truth and understand with their heart what HE is trying to say with this invitation. God is giving everyone a chance to come. Will you listen with your heart to this invitation? Or will you harden it before you even hear what he has to say through his watchman? I share what I am shown and speak only when the Lord tells me to do so.

This morning the Lord God almighty gave me a vision of people who have known the truth, and have been born again, filled with the Spirit of God. I saw each person and they had a lamp inside them. This lamp, or lantern, had oil and was lit brightly when they first were born again. Then as time passed, their lamps slowly went dim. The cares of this life took away their brightness. I was shown how some even went completely dark because their eyes looked away from Jesus, just like Peter did when he was walking towards Jesus on the water and began to sink after looking at the world. Those with dim lamps, had removed their focus off of Jesus, and was now on the things of this world.

I also was shown what happened to those with lamps who continually turned to Jesus everyday. They put their eyes on Jesus by making HIM first everyday they were blessed with life. I saw that their lamps were brightly lit. It appeared that their lamps were continually being filled with oil even when darkness was all around them.

Those that had allowed their eyes to focus temporarily on something other than Jesus had darkness creeping in through their eyes, and started to create spots on their lamps. I was reminded that our eyes are gateways to our soul and what we look at enters into the body, mind, and then down to the heart. This is why I am warning today so that someone can turn their eyes back to Jesus and stop being distracted with this world. I saw that as soon as they turned back to Jesus, the spots, and darkness, that came in through their eyes, would be cleared out and their lamps would shine brightly again. The words that came to mind at that moment was, daily sanctification. Only through the power of the Holy Spirit can we run this race with endurance until the end.

The warning is specifically for those who had their lamps burning at one point, but now they started to love this world again, and are pursuing the things in it. By doing this they are starting to be filled with darkness. Everyone that I saw who put their focus on this world were starting to have spots on their lamps. This caused the light that was once burning brightly to slowly grow dim. They seemed to not even notice or even care about doing the will of God anymore, and appeared to walk in pride. The longer they did this the darker their lamp became and would eventually become black like the world they were pursuing.

This is why God is warning his church in these last days. He has been warning those who say they love Jesus but refuse to separate themselves from this world. He wants us all to come back to him with a repentant and humble heart. In the vision, when the people with lanterns within them, came back to Jesus, with a humble and repentant heart, they became bright again. I saw them on their knees before the throne of God. They were in their prayer closets, and God cleaned off their dirty lamps. He renewed the brightness within them again. We serve a God of second chances. I have seen this in my own life and that’s why I warn without any fear of mankind.

The Holy Spirit then reminded me that I had done this exact same thing. In order to stop being a lukewarm, hypocrite, professing Christian, I had to turn back to God and humble myself on my knees in repentance for loving the things in this world. I repented for having the pride of life, lust of the flesh, and lust of the eyes. Only then was I able to be restored, and called by God to be his watchman. He has called me to warn his church because not many Christians see the pride within their own heart. They don’t see their own pride of life, the lust of their eyes, or lust of their flesh with their lukewarm Christian life.

Most pastors today are not preparing those who profess Jesus because they don’t want to offend anyone. So there are many lamps within the building of a church that are blackened with this world. There is no more oil within them, because all they are told is to just believe or say a single prayer. They don’t tell anyone that we must live a holy life, separated from this world. They don’t tell anyone that this is not our home and once born again we are ambassadors to the kingdom and not of this world. They don’t preach the full council of God and so the lamps within the lukewarm will not be filled and ready to meet the bridegroom when he suddenly comes. There is no preaching about returning back to Jesus. There is no repentance being preached because it offends the lukewarm that love this world, and have not surrendered all to Jesus. The lamps within many professing Christians will be empty, having spots, and blemishes when Jesus returns for his bride.

God is so loving that HE desires all to come to the wedding that HE has prepared for HIS Son. But the church is not telling anyone that they need to prepare themselves. The lies from Satan have infiltrated the church, and most are lukewarm, living for the pleasures of this world. There is no teaching the sheep to persevere or endure until the end. The only way to work out your own soul’s salvation is to be close to Jesus everyday. To keep your eyes and heart on him and only on him. When we focus our eyes on the cares and desires of our flesh, our lamps lose their oil. Our eyes are literal gateways into our lamp lit soul.

That is why I warn with words from the Lord God who loves you. Please don’t make excuses as to why you don’t need to prepare for the wedding. The bride herself prepares when it’s her wedding day. She literally puts on a white garment, and it does not have any spots or blemishes. All this means spiritually, is that we need to draw near to Jesus everyday with a humble and repentant heart. We are also to take captive our thoughts about the pleasures this world offers us. It’s easy to lust after something in our mind, and then allow it to go down to our heart, where we pursue it until we have attained it. As a lukewarm Christian, that lived my daily life pursuing the things I wanted from it, I can now see how my lamp was without oil, and it was growing dim. I am thankful the Lord was long suffering towards me, so that I could finally submit my life to him, and surrender my whole heart. My heart is now focused on him. This world offers nothing for me anymore. It has lost its appeal to me and my desire now is to store up treasures in heaven.

I am reminded again that only five virgins were ready when the trumpet sounded for their bridegroom. The other five knew the bridegroom would come suddenly upon them, but they refused to be wise. Don’t refuse the wisdom regarding the wedding supper of the Lamb. God is pouring out his wisdom upon you today through what his word says. Fill your lamps today. Jesus is calling us all back to him. It doesn’t matter what you allowed to distract you before today. You have this time right now to change. There is no condemnation to those who love the Lord. That’s why we are in this age of God’s amazing grace. God is allowing us all to have a chance to make it into HIS wedding, that is prepared for HIS Son Jesus Christ. Turn to him today while there is still time in this church age of grace.

Jesus is coming quickly and HIS reward is with him for all those who are ready to leave all behind. Keep your lamps burning brightly and don’t allow anything to take your eyes off of Jesus Christ our bridegroom.

“And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For MANY are called, but FEW are chosen.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  1. Greetings Sister who brings the oil,
Ya, this is great. Something I never noticed about the 10 Virgins parable before. It really blows the OSAS right out of the water doesnt it.
I also saw this, this morning in John 15. "remain" in the vine. What happens if you dont, the Father will remove every vine that does not produces fruit !

    Christs peace Sister

    1. Correction; I wrote "Father will remove every *vine*. That should have said, branch !
For us gardeners, we refer to branches as canes :) Did you know, that a grape vine will only produce fruit from last years wood ( branch or cane). Another words. New branches this year, will not produce fruit. So we always save some of this years branches for next year, then they will have fruit !

    2. Yes! Absolutely, The parable of the 10 Virgins couldn't be more clear. They are all believers! Some have stayed true to Jesus, some haven't... it's a shame this isn't taught in most churches. Blessings!

  2. Hello Sister in Christ,

I feel that the parable of the Ten Virgins is the most profound story of how important it is to remain steadfast in Jesus and not of this world. I have already let go of this world for some time, and even though I still fall into temptation and/or sin at times, my habit of confessing and repenting during my daily prayers makes me feel reassured that God is willing to forgive no matter how flawed I may be. I am still holding onto the faith that upon His transforming me into the glorious body along with a purified mind, never again would I be physically or mentally vulnerable to temptation or sin again.

I still pray for my spouse constantly along with family and that people would come to acknowledge and accept Jesus in the time that is left. I remember you may have the same situation, but I believe that through constant prayer and faith, God will make a way to save them even if it may have to be during the Tribulation. That is why I say “in advance” when giving thanks. I am sure God understands how much we value family but that He is definitely more valuable than them and will ensure that they get saved eventually?

The news have lately said that Israel has launched strikes that took out some top leaders and officials in Iran including a minister and intelligence chief, but “the regime is still surviving.” Also, I heard the Al-Aqsa mosque has now been closed beyond Eid Al-Fitr, which is another important Muslim holiday that is this Friday, likely due to the recent strike that happened not far from the area. Lastly, Trump is asking countries to assist with reopening the Strait of Hormuz, but they have all rebuffed at and refused the request - isn’t all part of God’s plan before the climactic part of this war happens? Oil prices have really soared as you may have already seen at gas stations.
Today is also the last day of Ramadan, so I am watching how things may unfold. As we may believe, the mosque may be destroyed to allow for the building of the Third Temple, so I have some confidence that this may all unfold between now and the Fall, when I still feel may be the start of the Tribulation.

This is a little early, but Happy month of Nisan (tomorrow the 19th) and start of Spring (Friday the 20th). I saw that Nisan is from March 19 to April 17 this year, and with Nisan 14 being on Passover (April 1) and Nisan 16/17 being Good Friday (April 3), I firmly think we should be on very High Watch this period considering that Good Friday is on April 3, which is the supposed date of the Lord’s crucifixion. 30 and 33 AD were the only years in which April 3 was a Friday, so I am truly hoping it is the real deal that we leave around then. Even if it comes to pass, Spring is still the most promising time in view of the alien disclosure narratives coming at the beginning of Summer.

Keep your oil lamp burning and stay strong in the Lord for we should be leaving very soon. Peace and Blessings from a Brother in Christ.

    1. Greetings Brother! Yes... there are many Scriptures in which God promises to save descendants and family. He understands our love for them. He hears our prayers! And yes, I have similar situations here, but I truly believe the Lord is working on them behind the scenes and that even in the Tribulation, they will be saved!
Yes.. I've also been following all the news developments you mentioned. Things seem to be heading definitely toward Tribulation. Which like you said, may start in the Fall. Our gas prices here are nearly 6 dollars now. Food prices are out of control. But God is on the throne and He knows who are His and He will never leave us.
Happy Nisan 1! Yes... a very holy time in Israel.. and a huge watch time for those of us awaiting our King. Just a note here. Jesus wasn't crucified on Friday. Many scholars believe it was on Wednesday-Thursday, which would then give him 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb before resurrection. Anyway, we keep looking up!!
The world seems to have gone crazy, but this is just what we expect to see right before the rapture. Stay strong and in the Word, Brother.. see you soon.

    2. Thanks Sister for your response.

Even though I get tempted to doubt, I believe God is pleased that I am constantly in prayer regarding salvation for family, so I made it a routine to pray about it in the time that we have before we go home.

Yes prices are skyrocketing and I heard that both Israel and Iran are targeting energy facilities on both sides. I feel this could have a serious impact on the economy if it drags on long enough, but I am sure this is to be expected from a prophetic perspective prior to the Tribulation. Perhaps they might target nuclear facilities at some point? That would really spell disaster, but I believe we will be gone before that happens.

Thanks also for the note about Wednesday-Thursday being the Lord’s crucifixion dates. Just FYI, I found that 33 AD is laid out exactly like how this year is, as in April 1 is also Passover with Good Friday being on April 3 and Easter being on April 5. I hope this would be credible in the sense of being a high Rapture-potential period.

Per the commenters below, I feel compelled to smile whenever I see a picture of the Lord and found myself rejoicing over His presence and promise whenever listening to songs with holy vibes. Could this be evidence the Holy Spirit is working within me as well?

Blessings again and see you soon in the clouds.

    3. That's interesting that the days are laid out this year in the exact way in 33 AD. Could be a sign? I don't know. I do believe this war will go nuclear.. but only a small limited exchange. We may be here to see a bit of it. Up to the Lord. And yes, keep praying for your family!! God answers the prayers of the righteous. Absolutely... if you rejoice in the Lord whenever you sense His presence or listen to worship music, yes.. that's the Holy Spirit! Blessings

  3. I don't know why, but whenever I read the Word of God (daily), it literally makes me cry. I am alone, so am not trying to "impress" anyone.

    1. It's the Holy Spirit in you, Patience! He cries with joy for you being saved, but in sorrow for those who won't make it. I cry often reading the Word and praying too!

    2. Amen to crying while reading script or worshipping. I have noticed this more and more recently. I agree, it is the Holy Spirit leading us deeper and deeper into the heart of Jesus. Scripture I've read many times over suddenly come alive, more vivid. It's like watching a movie in black and white and suddenly it visible in color ! Hallelujah!
