Where do you stand on Israel?

Will you stand with me?  I've copied two great videos below. The first one is a brief history of the region and how it came to be like it is today.  If you don't know much about Israel and Palestine, I encourage you to watch the entire thing.. it's about 6 minutes.
The second video is also a fantastic explanation as to why Israel would cease to exist should they be forced to return to their 1967 borders.  I hope you'll take the time to watch both videos and educate yourself. God is not done with His Chosen people! He loves them very much. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

  1. Fri May 27th,
"Morning, MaryLu" ... wherever you are .... Hoping you are having a wonderful time; and, staying out of the paths of tornadoes !!! My goodness, many States are getting hammered !!!
I just finished watching "six" of the videos you posted.
So much information to digest ... yet, it sure helped me.
First and foremost -- the Jewish people, are God's chosen people. Israel will NOT be taken away from them ... they are their own Nation. And, when Christ returns ... His feet will set upon the Mount of Olves. Isreal ... CANNONT and WILL NOT ever be destroyed !!! (No matter 'who' fights against it, or, tries to eliminate the people or the Country !!!)
I do pray for peace for them, but ... the Bible clearly states ... that the people will cry - 'Peace, peace' ... yet there will be NO peace.
I found it interesting in the 'History of the Middle East Conflict' video ... that Israel 'wants' peace ... yet the surrounding Muslim/Arab countries say - 'kill the Jew', and, "We love death, as much as the Jewish people love life". As the commentator said ... "how" are you supposed to make peace, against a mindset like that !!!
President Obama's speeches ... majority of what he spoke hit the 'nail on the head'.
He said: "Violence is a dead-end. It is not a sign of courage, nor of power." How true is that !!!
All-in-all, I was glad to hear he spoke -- plainly, truthfully, boldly, and tactfully .... it seemed, he was well-received. Also so glad, he addressed the issues of equality of rights and education for women. And, that 'whatever' our differences are ... world-wide -- (religion, beliefs, ideals, customs, etc) ... we need to 'live and work together' -- respecting one another and those differences.
Thanks for sharing, MaryLu. Very thought-provoking.
And yes, I stand for Israel and the Jewish Nation !!!
    Take care, and, God Bless,
    In Him, Brenda Hurley

    *********
I pray you get home safe. I can't believe the weather! There were a couple of tornadoes that touched down about 60-80 miles from us.
(Let us know when ye be back on board, Cap'n.)

  3. HI MaryLu :) :)

I'm going to watch both videos right now. I'm definitely for Israel. So is my dad. We pray for the peace of Israel..and I asked my dad one day.."Why do you think God has blessed our country so much?" His response in part was because of the Christians in this country who love Israel and pray for the people there :) :) God has a plan for Israel and its people. That's for sure :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  4. Facinating! Thanks for sharing, MaryLu! I'm definitely for Israel, and I try to stay as informed as I can about what's going on over there.

For anyone who's intersted, this link http://www.rondaniel.com/library/68-HAF/HAF.html is to a series of Christ-focused history classes taught by a former pastor of mine (you can access all of them free there), and #s 30-32 have to do with Israel.

  5. I'm for Israel and I'm glad Stephen Harper is on the ball. These videos were excellent and I shared them on facebook. They also showed the 2nd video on Kim Clement's Prophetic Alert.
