Dear Precious Saints of the Most High,
Just popping in to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I'm back in the country and have been busy with family celebrations, but also praying to the Lord for guidance and direction. For those of you who believe celebrating Christmas is pagan, I get it. Much of it truly does have pagan origins. However, for me, the name of Jesus is uplifted during this season all over the world and that is definitely something worth celebrating. No, Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. Many scholars believe he was born around Tabernacles in the fall, but it's also quite possible He was conceived in Mary's womb around this time. Regardless, as I drive through my neighborhood, and I see a few houses with Nativities in the front yard, it blesses me because people are seeing that some still celebrate the birth of Jesus! So many Christmas carols glorify Him, churches tend to be fuller. It's a wonderful season of giving and loving each other. That is why I celebrate. However, the Bible says we must do everything in faith, so be true to what the Holy Spirit puts on your heart!
Blessings from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ be poured upon you and your family this Christmas! And I'll see you in the New Year!
May we all be celebrating Christmas next year with our Lord and Savior!

DeleteMerry Christmas, MaryLu. I want to share a comment from Pastor Rich at unsealed.org. I found ti particularly poignant. Jesus most likely was not born on Dec. 25, but the Magi seem to have arrived with their gifts for him on Dec, 25, 2BC. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWHY CHRISTMAS MORNING
Another piece of the Christmas story *may* be found in the time in which we traditionally celebrate opening gifts. Christmas morning. We know that the annunciation of the angel concerning Christ's birth occurred at night, so why do we traditionally exchange presents Christmas morning?
Remember, the Nativity of Jesus occurred months before the arrival of the kings from the east. That was an evening event. The arrival of the kings in Bethlehem is suggested as being in the morning by celestial signs, chiefly the star (Jupiter). Remember, the word star and planet are intertwined with the word "planet" meaning "wandering star." On the morning of December 25, 2 BC, Jupiter was "wandering" over Judea. It would have been clearly visible, high in the predawn sky, with the woman (Virgo) above the countryside.
As a matter of fact, Jupiter would have been very close to the star Spica. Spica, the brightest and easiest to see of the stars of the constellation Virgo. Spica, a Latin word meaning "ear of corn", or "the virgin's ear of grain."
Unmistakable, likely before 6 AM.
So there is reason to believe that the kings from the east arrived in the early morning of what we call Christmas morning today; bearing gifts, honoring the King.
Sounds a lot like our tradition of Christmas doesn't it?
Thus, Christmas is an expression of the Greatest Commandment found in (Matthew 22:36-40) -- loving God and loving your neighbor as yourself,
40 On these two commandments
depend all the Law and the Prophets.
(Matthew 22:40 ESV)
So the imagery of the day was the kings from the east, following the king planet (Jupiter) as it stopped in the constellation of the woman (Virgo) near the seed star (Spica). Spica, a binary star (two appearing as one) and brightest in the constellation Virgo; among the brightest stars of the night sky. Spica, seed (offspring) of the woman as prophetically given in the garden through (Genesis 3:15) now come to down to Earth (Isaiah 57:15) in a little village, the City of David, of Judea known as Bethlehem. A name which means "house of bread".
Bread further reflected in the Afikomen of the Seder and the bread that we partake of at the Lord's Supper, Communion. Broken for us in remembrance of Jesus, Son of Man, Son of God, Light of the world, the Lamb that was slain.
Emmanuel, forever!
Merry Christmas. All eyes on Jesus, all hope in Christ,
That was beautiful!! I had not heard that the Wise Men might have found Jesus around this time. That's amazing. The stars don't lie! Merry Christmas!
DeleteHello Sister in Christ,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back from your recent trip and Merry Christmas! I was checking your blog regularly for posts lately, but I figured you were busy celebrating with family, and I am glad to see your Christmas post. Since it was raining hard yesterday, I opened the window drapes this morning and the first thing I saw was a beam of sunlight in the sky with scattered clouds - I viewed it as a sign from the Lord that He is actively present and I praised Him.
Yes I also believe Jesus was actually born more likely during the Fall, but I noticed: Christmas to the Fall Feasts, or December to September, is 9 months, which is a standard length of a pregnancy, maybe this could be a possible analysis of His actual birth time?
I have also seen the Christmas decorations and those that show the Nativity, it is so heartwarming to see the Holy Couple and the Som of God as a sweet little baby.
I wanted to thank you gratefully for all the posts through the year - even though I came across it early this year, I really felt a genuine transformation that strengthened my bond with the Lord, for I can say with confidence that I am not the same person that I once was. Or more appropriately, I thank the Lord for guiding me to your blog and becoming fully aware of all the signs that we have seen through the year. I guess this is why John 3:3 is important: “except someone is born again, they cannot see the kingdom of God,” and I really feel like a whole new person now - praise the Lord!
There are some things I want to bring up to you as I have done with past posts, especially since a lot has happened while you were on vacation, but since it is Christmas, I will save them for your next regular post and let you enjoy the day with family.
I actually want to bring up that with 3I/Atlas presumably being closest to Earth last Friday the 19th, I found that exactly three months from then on March 19 next year will be Nisan 1 in the Jewish Calendar - could this may be why the Rapture has not happened yet? Or maybe Passover/Good Friday/Easter in early April next year? I still feel that the Rapture would be sometime between now and then, but it may not be this year anymore since there is only a week until the New Year? Even so, that is okay, maybe the Lord is allowing time for more people to come to Him, from a positive standpoint.
Thanks again Sister for your true devotion to the Lord and spreading His messages! Hopefully we will meet along with all other Brothers and Sisters in the clouds very soon! Merry Christmas and Blessings from a Brother in Christ.
Merry Christmas, Brother! Yes, I'm accepting that we may not leave this year. I will write more about this next Friday. But the timing doesn't matter. We know we are close from all the signs. More importantly, you could not have given me a better Christmas present than by telling me that the posts God has given me have helped you grow in Christ! That means the world to me. Thank you for telling me that.!
DeleteGreetings Holy Messenger of God,
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I am happy to hear you enjoyed your much-deserved vacation and are celebrating Christmas feeling well-rested and happy.
I was reading Matthew 1:21 recently where “an angel told Joseph to take Mary as his wife, for what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you are to name him Jesus for He will save his people from their sins.” Then I also went on to read how Mary and Joseph had to travel like 90 miles to be counted in a census, and because all the inns were full, that is why Mary later gave birth to Jesus in a manger. That reminded me of a phrase I read long ago: “although Jesus was God, He humbled Himself to be born of a woman and come into the world.” How great is our Lord!
You may have heard that Netanyahu is planning to meet with Trump next week to start implementing Phase 2 of the Gaza Peace Plan. Every time I hear of progress, I wonder if this is just steady progression towards the Plan (and the Abraham Accords) becoming the actual Daniel Covenant. If so, then I feel the Rapture and Tribulation should happen within the next six months, give or take. I keep telling myself in my daily prayers to “keep looking up, keep having faith, and keep my oil lamp burning,” meaning to keep waiting even if I feel tempted to think the Rapture is still far away or may not even happen.
Merry Christmas to you and family and keep strong in the Lord! As a commenter noted back on your Thanksgiving post, do you feel this could also be our final Christmas in this world, for I feel (hopefully) we will already be in Heaven with the Lord by this time next year. Either way, keep having faith and Come Quickly Lord Jesus!
Merry Christmas! I have not been keeping up with the news this month. I needed a break from it all, and from all the date-setting. We shall see what the Lord has in store for us in 2026. Hopefully, our home coming! The important thing is not WHEN the rapture will occur, but will we be Ready? Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Blessings!
