An author friend of mine, Kathi Lipp, (who is one of the most charming and funny ladies I have ever met) has written a great book called The Husband Project--21 days of loving your Man on Purpose and with a Plan.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It's funny. It's clever and it works! For those of you ladies out there who are married and your marriage seems a little dry lately, this is the book for you. Basically, Kathi gives you ideas to try on your husband for 21 days. 21 great ideas that you may never have thought of before and that only take a few minutes to do. The idea behind the book is not only to enhance your marriage for 21 days but to change your mindset as a wife, to create better habits in your relationship, and to realize that it only takes a few moments a day to make your Man feel special.
With over half the marriages failing in this country (even in the church!) we married couples can use all the help we can get, right? Personally, I feel it is only a reflection of our self-centered, self-involved, quick gratification, it's all about me culture. In the olden days, people married for life. They partnered together and raised children and took care of each other, no matter whether they were "happy" or "in love".
You'll find the best marriage advice in the world in the Bible. If you can do these 2 things, your marriage will prosper. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and love your spouse as you do yourself. Kathi's book will help you focus on the 2nd part of that command, and maybe just maybe, it will become a habit in your marriage, and you will end up Living Happily Ever After!!!
I have a free copy of Kathi's book to give away to anyone of you married ladies out there or any of you single ladies hoping to get married. Just leave a comment with your email and I'll draw a name in 2 weeks on the 27th.

Please sign me up, and if I don't win, I just might buy a copy! It sounds a little bit like the "Love Dare" book that accompanies the movie "Fireproof" which is about fireproofing your marriage. I would recommend both the movie and the book!
