Wordless Wednesday

Hmm, looks like one of the heroes in my books. Which one?
Also, if you're interested in the interview I did on the joyfilledgirls blog, click here

  1. Hmmm...does this certain pirate happen to be single? ;-D He looks like a combonation of how I pictured Merrick and Dajon Waite (my two favorite male characters of yours) in my head.

The interview was great, by the way! I find it SO inspiring that you had no idea if you were going to get published, but trusted Him enough to try!

  2. I CAN NOT believe this. :) (All good I promise) I just read Sapphire's comment and she took the words right out of my mouth! That is EXACTLY who I was thinking of and they are my favorite heros too. :)

    Awesome picture. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Oh, this is fun! I'm thinking Nathaniel from The Blue Enchantress. :) He seems sure of himself, but he also seems calm and gentle. And for some reason his looks remind me a bit of how I would picture that hero.

    Thanks for posting this!

  4. That was a great interview! I think the people who try to find what they think is going to make them happy in life, then eventually see the truth of God's Love, are the ones that influence others the most. I know some men who had lived a bad life and were running from God and He brought them to Him. Those men are the best priests i know of! Maybe its because they can convince people to not take the route they did because they know how it is. You MaryLu, are a wonderful influence! By teaching lessons in your stories so people see that is not going to turn out well if they run from God, but to run to Him is the way to go. You are awesome! :) God Bless You!!

I like this picture by the way...I am not really sure who this looks like from your stories. Lol But it is really cool! Have a wonderful rest of the week MaryLu!
Hope you had a relaxing weekend off! :)

  5. I don't picture any of your characters like him, but I wouldn't mind. Man, is he handsome! (If I had to guess out of all of them, I would say Kent, the rest of them I pictured more tan with really dark hair, even if you didn't describe them that way =P ...) Great picture!
I read the interview, very interesting. I liked the part about how you came to know Jesus, and the color black as a favorite color.

  6. Thanks ladies! I knew this picture would get your attention! LOL And I appreciate those who read my article. Thanks.. And for all your kind comments. I didn't really have one of my heros in mind with this picture, but I am curious how my readers picture my heros. For me, I think maybe he looks like Rafe.. I'm open to more opinions..

  7. Personally, I don't picture any of your heroes looking like him. He looks almost like he's afraid to get his hands dirty, I guess because his clothes are too nice and not a strand of hair is out of place. Lol. But it is a good picture.

I really enjoyed reading the interview. It's great that you're not afraid to talk about your past, so that you can help others. I agree with Sapphire about your courage and trust in God to write books even though you had no idea if they would be published. Way to go! : )
