  1. Sept 15th,
    Morning, MaryLu.
First of all ... glad you made it to Sacramento and back. Hope it was a good day.
I love this photo !!! Do you know 'why' ??? It's an "action picture" .... ready for a story ! Rough waters (with whitecaps), stormy skies, and it definitely "looks like" one pirate ship is after the other ! Ahhh ... I can "feel" the story coming about .... now !
    Have a Blessed day, MaryLu.
(I'm off and running to my "55 and over class" .... of course, I am one of the ones who is "over" 55!)
    Take care, and, God Bless,
    In Him, Brenda Hurley

  3. Churning clouds above crashing waves...I'm in heaven! Yeah, I'm one of those weirdos who like danger! :-D I especially love the detail on the waves in this painting - I never would have throught (with my not being a painter and all) that just a few streaks of white could make it so realistic...and beautiful.

Can't wait for the Talk Like a Pirate contest! :-)

I would like to apologize for many of my poorly thought and planned out comments from past times, where I have complained and whined like an infant. I should never have done that. So, my apologies.

  7. Thanks for sharing the picture! :) And yay for "Talk Like a Pirate" Day!

I just wanted to say that I was looking at your poll as to which books of yours were people's favorites. There weren't many votes for The Reliance (I actually voted for a different one, too), but I have to tell you that I really loved that one! (I love ALL of your books!!!) I thought it was so neat that The Reliance continued the story from The Redemption--it was such an authentic story in regards to relationships and such.

I really loved Surrender the Heart, as well, and I can't wait for Surrender the Night! Keep on writing these beautiful books!

  8. Thanks so much for all your comments, ladies! Glad you liked the picture. Believe me, right now, I'd give anything to transport myself onto one of those ships! I'm seriously stressed right now. Late on returning the edits on Surrender the Night but it's completely my fault. And I have barely started Surrender the Dawn which is due in 4 months! Talk about a test of faith!! LOL.

Abigail, I don't remember any whining comments, but you're sweet to apologize. This is an open forum and I welcome all your opinions, good or bad.
Amber, Reliance sits right up there with one of my favorites. I still miss Charlisse and Merrick.

Anyway, if you don't remember or haven't participated in Talk like a pirate contest, please drop by on Friday. It's lots of fun. Well, at least for me! And there's a prize involved.
