Wordless Wednesday

  1. Wednesday, Sept 29th,
    Good Morning, MaryLu.
Wow ... this is one exciting, swash-buckling picture !!! Just look at the action ! Not only a sword fight, but while standing on jagged rocks, with the sea raging all around ! Ahhh, the fury and the tension .... who will win ??? Will it be one of the pirates ... or, will it be the fury of the waves ..... It's anyone's guess ...
Hope your cold is letting up and disappearing !
    Take care, and, God Bless,
    In Him, Brenda Hurley

Edward the Terror and Flint, if they had been at sea during their fight. lol Nice pic, MaryLu, you managed to still get a ship in the shot.

  5. Thanks ladies! I thought you'd like it. Reminds me of my old pirate tales! Maybe someday I'll get back to writing those. God willing.
My cold is slightly better. Thanks. I'm back to writing today. Chapter 7 of Surrender the Night!
    Blessings...

  6. I love this picture. Not at first, but after a couple minutes of staring at the screen...
I can't decide who's good and who's bad. I don't like how fancy the one standing is dressed...so the discredits him automatically!
Interesting picture….Can almost hear and smell it!
    I love the ocean!
    God bless,

  7. Great picture. I just finished your latest Surrender the Heart and I will have you know I am on a mission to read everything else you have written :). Not only was the book nearly impossible to put down. I loved learning about the inner workings of a ship, something I had known almost nothing about and the nonstop excitement. But I also LOVED the spiritual depth the themes of being completely obedient to God's plan even when we are frightened, listening for God and waiting on His timing. This was a message on fear that so blessed my heart, MaryLu. Thank you and be sure I will be writing you some positive site reviews.

  8. Thanks Abigail. Yes, it's one of those pictures you really have to stare at and put yourself into the action. There's so much movement.

Julia, I'm THRILLED you enjoyed Surrender the Heart !! Thank you for your kind words. It's my hope that the story will help people see God working in their life, moving them toward their own special destiny.
