  1. Wed Jan 5th,
    Morning, MaryLu.
Another neat photo ! All quiet, for now. But with the sky looking the way it does ... I get the 'feeling' that "something" is about to happen ! I like the detail on the ships. Thanks !
    Hope all is well.
    Take care, and, God Bless,

  2. Me, me, me Oh, pick me. I wanna board! Could you somehow transport me into one of your books so I can be captured by a pirate, who is really a great guy, who saves me, falls in love with me, and sails away with me into the sunset? Just askin'. =)

    Happy New Year!

  3. I am soooo ready to sail away!....MaryLu, I would appreciate your prayers. My husband and I may have some financial difficulties coming (I won't go into details) and I may have to get some kind of job. I have been a stay at home wife and mother since 'forever' and have never really had a job outside of the house. Please be praying that the Lord opens up doors for me should I need a job. I am not 'afraid' to get a job; I've just been taking care of my house, kids, husband and, now, two small dogs for so long, I would hate to have to not be there for them at home. And approaching 50 quickly, I hate to have to suddenly change my way of living. Maybe I can find some way of working from home. I don't know, I am just a bit 'freaked out' right now. Please be praying and I will keep you informed. (I would appreciate the prayers of any fans reading this as well) God bless.

  4. Aye, Brenda, something is about to happen! We are all going to board and sail away to adventure! (I wish!)
Mimi, if I could make your dream come true, I would!! I'm sure there are many women who would join you. (myself included!) But it's nice to dream, anyway... sigh.

Debbie, I'm so sorry.. Of course I'll pray. Thanks for entrusting me with your needs. I completely understand. I'm 51 and the thought of getting a job outside the home would freak me out, honestly. Although I did work at IBM for 20 years, I've been home for 7 years now writing and I love being home. I'll pray for God to intervene and bless your finances so you don't have to get a job. But if He doesn't, then He has something particular He wants you to do... don't be afraid of it. It will be for your good and His glory. Right? Keep me posted.

  5. Wed Jan 5th,
This is to: Debbie M ....
Heh Debbie, I'll be praying for you, too. Not in any way am I suggesting this is a 'piece of cake', or, 'easy' ... but the verses that came to mind (after reading your blog) ... "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Prov 3: 5-6. I'm not so good with change either. I am '60', and still looking for employment (even part time) ... not easy, and truthfully, there are not many things I would want to be doing out there anymore, either ! The Job Gym - has asked "if" I want to babysit or be a Nanny .... truth be told .... NO, not really. (At the present, I am working on writing a "childrens' book", and going for a self-publishing option (for ages 5-8) ... that is what I would like to be doing !)
Anyway ... God knows ALL about your situation, and, He knows what is best. He WILL provide, one way or the other ... either for you being able to stay at home, or, to help you find just the right employment ... for you. We'll trust Him together ... for His perfect Will to be done, okay Debbie ??? And always remember ... the Will of God will not lead you, where the grace of God cannot keep you !
    God Bless, and, take care,
    In Him, Brenda Hurley

  6. Thanks, MaryLu and Brenda. I appreciate your prayers more than you know. It's nice knowing that I am not alone. I would love to write a book, too. I am good at coming up with the 'whole picture' of a story, but, not so much the details needed. I am going to turn 49 this year and the only job I have had was working in my sister's furniture store. I can type and I am great at reading....hahahaha....anyway, even a part time job would help right now. Thanks again for your prayers. I will keep you updated. God bless.

  7. MaryLu...great picture. I so want a handsome dashing pirate guy who loves Jesus to fall in love with me ;) :) These photos always inspire great adventure :) :)

I also saw Debbie's post here...and if I may be so bold, I'd be happy to pray for her and her family, too :) :) I was actually layed off from my job last Thursday...and while I don't have that many expenses, it's still challenging. All I can say from having been through this before is that God is awesome and He'll provide one way or the other ;) :) I'll be praying for Debbie...for sure!!!

Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  12. These ships are awesome! Sometime in the future, it might be fun to have a MaryLu Tyndall cruise. But instead of a boat it would be a ship. lol. Sounds silly, but I really think sailing with The MaryLu Tyndall would be exciting. :)
MaryLu, I noticed that your 'Which book of mine is your favorite?' vote box on the side is done. What was it for?
