Wow-This is beautiful. I'm sure the island was a perfect place to build a castel-no one could get there unless they rowed a boat a boat or something. It would also be the perfect place to keep something locked in-sort of like how Rapunzel was (except it doesn't have her tall tower). But you get the idea.Is the castle in Ireland?
Imagine my surprise this morning to find your website totally changed! I'll try to bite my tongue and reserve much comment until after I learn my way around. Right off the bat I'll say that it took me several additional clicks to get to where I wanted to go (here) AND I really liked your old format...missed the wind, waves & gull sounds!
Rapunzel. I love it, Eszter! I had forgotten all about that story. But yes.. it would be a good place to keep something locked up... something special protected. Diane, my publisher offered to create a new website for me so the new format is completely their design. Although I do think it's much more "professional", I agree that it lacks the feel the other one did. I don't mind your honesty at all. :-) I'm keeping my old one around and may put it online again at a later date.
Beautiful............I envy the photographer who took this shot. I wonder where this is? Wherever it is, it is a beautiful location. It seems so peaceful and quiet. A great place to just leave the world behind and reflect on God's beauty. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, oh, wow. I LOVE this photo. It really pulls you into the picture. I feel like I'm really there or at least wanting to be there really badly. :o) Thanks for sharing.
You all are so smart! I didn't know that was gorse. It's so pretty.. and Amanda, I can't believe you knew where this place was! Scotland.. ah I'd love to go there someday.

Beautiful! I live in Wyoming, and this looks exaclty like some of the mountain ranges here that we hike in (minus the castle, of course). :-)

I have no idea where it is... but if Wyoming looks like this.. I need to go there! I could use a long spiritual retreat.... Sigh
ReplyDeleteOh, look, it's gorse! I don't think I've ever seen a picture of it in bloom before. That's lovely. I wonder what castle it is.

ReplyDeleteI have been there. It is in Scotland. And it is called the Eillan Donnan Castle. It is beautiful although I think it is prettier in this picture. : )
