My other car

  1. Wed March 23rd,
    "Morning, MaryLu".
Yes ... I also "wish" that "this" was "my other car" !!! There's just "something" about a tall sailing ship -- rustic, but beautiful ... and somehow, romantic too ! Looks like fun, to say the least. And, I'd love to be sailing on it ... "right now", too !!! The entire photo is neat -- the water, the trees in the background ... love it !!!
    Thanks for sharing, MaryLu.
Have a great day ! Take care, and, God Bless,
    In Him, Brenda Hurley

  3. Awesome! What kind is it, some type of schooner? If so, it's just my size...I might have to commandeer your "other car," cap'n! ;-)

  4. Thanks Brenda, this picture looks especially good to me today since it's cold and rainy here in No. Cal!
Sheri, I would love to imagine sailing around town in this ship! Wait a minute... that would mean we were flooded. Not so good, I guess. :-) But it would be cool to have in my front yard anyway.
Sapphire.. I think this is a Brig. You can tell by the type of sails and the number of masts. An' ye'll have to challenge yer cap'n to a duel to get her ship from her!

  5. Very nice..........when do we go sailing? lol

It has really been stormy up this way. We even had a tornado scare nearby........about 100mi away. Thankfully, it headed off to the northeast and bypassed us.(it only touched down once; no damage) We did get some hail, wind, rain and thunder. So, where is the early spring we were supposed to have? It only goes to show, weathermen can only guess at the weather. Only God knows for sure what is coming.
Stay safe and dry. God bless.

  6. I'd love to be able to "play pirates" on that ship!

  7. Well if it keeps raining like this, I'll hoist those sails and head over to get you, Debbie! In the mean time stay warm and dry. Yea.. it feels like January out there instead of the end of March. Sigh. Well, I'm just going to dive into 1811 Charleston to get away.
    Hugs all

  8. It looks like a clip from one of the Pirate movies. Missing the people of course. They're probably on land, munching on some good BBQ...:)

  9. What kind of vessel is that? I can't tell if it's a brig or some kind of sloop.
