I'm hoping to change the header too soon! I did this just while I was playing around on the design page. A reader and friend is helping me with the header design. Anyway, thoughts?
MaryLu, as I mentioned in the post below, I love it. It is so pretty and it really gives me a sense of being on the sea. I pray that your weekend is going well. Still no ants here, Praise God! For Sunday service today, my church had a Prayer Walk. The members adopted some streets in Anderson, then we all went out and just walked and prayed for our city. Jack and I adopted the streets around our townhouse, so that we could take our dogs out to walk with us. May God bless this upcoming week! <3
Me again. First of all, I can't believe I beat Brenda on here. lol Second, maybe you should put shots of your book covers on top. And when someone clicks on the picture, it takes them to a description of that novel. Just a thought. I like what's on top now. It just needs to stretch all the way over. :)
MaryLu it's beautiful but so weird. I've been following your blog for a few years now and it confuses me when I look at it. HaHa. I love the header! I'll be sad to see it go... Is the picture in the background real or did someone photoshop it--do you know? -Rebekah xD
Praise God no ants!! That's great Debbie. That is so awesome about your prayer walk. What a great thing to do. We really don't truly know what our prayers can do for our neighborhood and city! I'm going to add some info on my books too, but I have someone working on a header that will stretch across the top. Little Lady, in fact! or Micah, who is a sweetheart and approached me on FB to offer her services free!! Rebekah, the background is a real photo.. found it on Blogger. Pretty, huh?
Mon Aug 29th, "Morning, MaryLu." I love the water photo in the background, and probably wish it showed more of it. Not meaning to sound negative, or like the doom-of-gloom ... but I could read the other blog site much easier, with it being brighter, and on a white background (with black typing on top). With this new one ... I am having greater difficulty in trying to read it ... especially, when the words are in colours ... like -- blues, reds, pinks, and purples, etc. The larger words in white ... stand out just fine. The 'appearance' of the new blog look is fine ... just struggling with trying to read the darker and smaller print, on a black background ... I'm having to squint, and get my head up much closer to the computer screen. Sorry, just being honest ... but not trying to be hurtful. Take care, and, God Bless, In Him, Brenda Hurley
Mon Aug 29th, "Afternoon, MaryLu." Ohhhhhhhhh ... you are so sweet !!! Thank-you ! (Then again ... 'maybe' it's just my "61-year old" eyes !!!!!!!!!!!!!) No one else seemed to have problems with reading it ... so, I guess it's 'just me' ! I'm so sorry to be a bother. And, if it's too much trouble .... don't worry about it at all. (You shouldn't have to be changing anything ... just to humour a 61-year old !!!) But, bless you ... most appreciated ! Take care, and, God Bless, In Him, Brenda Hurley
Awesome awesome awesome new blog!! I love the new look. The cross and cutlass sign, the water and ship in the background, its all so cool. Perfect. Your website is looking good too, if I forgot to tell you. I like that also. :)
I love it!! Especially the new header. It's so awesome! And this really does make you feel like you're out at sea! Maybe in a battle, because we're so close to the other ship? Haha. Just kidding. It looks very peaceful.

@Brenda: I would never have guessed your age was 61! You write much younger than your years. We learn something new every day!
