Some of you may know Brenda, a sweet lady and friend from Canada who often posts on my blog. Well, she was fortunate enough to spend a few weeks in Hawaii last month. She sent me some beautiful pictures and I thought I'd share them with you. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting some of the pictures ... brought back memories as I re-viewed them ! The red, grey and white bird is the "Hawaiian Cardinal". Very beautiuful !!! (Our Canadian Cardinals are totally red ... no grey or white on them.)
Ahhhhh .... yes .... wish I was back over there, now ! Memories to keep forever ! The beauty of the Islands was outstanding !

It was a wonderful trip ... and one I NEVER dreamed would happen ! It was a blessing from the Lord ... but, I had to take a step of faith (out of my comfort-zone), to pursue this trip. Other people had arranged this trip originally, and made the plans (my daughter-in-law's Aunt )! The details just all fell into place; and even at a "MAJOR reduction in price". To have gone to Hawaii 'on my own' ... would have been WAY too expensive !!! God IS good, ALL the time, NO matter what !

I miss Hawaii so much! I went there a few summers ago and I want to go back! Lol. It's very beautiful there. I hope you had lots of fun, Brenda!

Wow it is so beautiful. I always wonder if places are really that pretty or if it's just a few well-planned shots by professional photographers for the travel brochures. Lol. But I can see that's not the case with Hawaii! Although, that picture of the cardinal is totally professional looking! Awesome pics, Brenda!! Thanks for letting MaryLu share them with us :)
