Wed Nov 30th, "Morning, MaryLu." Plenty, I'd say ! Where was this photo taken ? Very interesting ... do I "hear" another pirate story formulating in your mind, MaryLu ??? No pressure ... but it sure would be nice. Thanks for sharing. Take care, and, God Bless, In Him, Brenda Hurley
Well, whatever happened to this ship, it looks like it has been there awhile. I'm guessing there used to be a bit more water surrounding it at one time. I don't think it is deserted, though. I think some pirates still use it, perhaps it be the only home they have after 'what ever' happened to them and their ship. Sort of a 'Gilligan's Island' thing? LOL
Well MaryLu, I simply don't know. =D But I have a feeling it's a grand story! It would be a cook prompt for a story, though wouldn't it? If I were an English teacher I would show it to my students and tell them to write a story to evaluate their skill and creativity. =D

Thanks Brenda,.. yes, I do believe there are some more pirate stories brewing in me mind! Debbie.. I love your creativity.. absolutely.. they still live in the ship.. hoping for the next high tide to take them away. LOL
Rebekkah, excellent idea.. it would indeed be excellent fuel for a short creative story.. wish I had the time to write one.. :-)
Wouldn't it be cool if a person hundreds of years later came upon this ship and found a diary or log about the pirates' adventures? It could be like going back in time or something.

I like Debbie's idea. These pirates just have fun in the sun on this "deserted" island, and then take shelter on the ship when storms come along.

ReplyDeleteOr if the ship itself was a time machine? Ohhhhh.. great idea!!!
ReplyDeleteOh boy! I can see the wheels turning. LOL
