Wed Feb 29th ..... "Morning, MaryLu." Wow ... here we are again ... at another month ending !!! Absolutely LOVE this photograph !!! Oh my goodness .... it feels like you're 'right there' ... just sitting on top of the water, ready to walk right over to this ship !!! The black and white (and grey) effects make it particularly amazing ! The details -- in the clouds, sky, ship, water ... are so extremely clear and vivid ! Okay ... decision made ... this will need to be my 'newest' wallpaper on the computer screen. Thanks for sharing this beautiful shot !!! (One of my favourites.) And the perfect opening for a movie shot! If only they'd make more movies with tall ships in them. Sigh...
Some how black and white photos make everything seem more dramatic. You notice more detail than you would if it were color. Well, maybe. Interesting picture; looks like it was taken in the "olden days". :)
