In addition to the contest I'm having weekly on this blog (below), you might want to hop on over to Fresh Fiction where they are having a Month-long contest to win a string of Black Pearls to celebrate the release of my next book, Veil of Pearls!
Here's the link: http://freshfiction.com/contest.php?id=4211
Hi MaryLu--
ReplyDeleteI'm here--24 hrs. late; have been late for everything in my life! I know that must be some kind of psychological problem--but my mother said I just take on too much stuff!
You MET Jim Caveizel?! I'm familiar with his background and that he's married to a lovely lady and they adopted some sweet children that had medical problems. A strong man!
Now....for Veil--I notice you list character traits on your blog; do you make them up for the characters or do you use a resource book for personalities/character traits? (and are character & personality traits the same?:). This is way-y-y too long!
Thanks, MaryLu!
What a cool giveaway! Thanks for the link; I'm heading over right now. :-)

Wow ... yet another giveaway !!! This is so very kind and generous of you. (I have never owned anything like black pearls.) Thanks so much for this opportunity of a 'chance' to win. Have now already entered the contest from the link you provided.
With thanks and blessings to you !

Pat, you are never late... and it's always a pleasure to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteYes, I met Jim Caveizel at a church function when he came to talk about his role in the Passion. He's a godly man living a godly life in the middle of godless Hollywood... and he ain't bad to look at either. ;-) It's his voice that got me.. so soft and smooth.. you would believe anything he told you.
To answer your question, I use a bunch of different sources for character traits, but the main one is 45 Master Characters by Victoria Schmidt.
Sapphire.. hope you win!
Brenda, my publisher is giving away the pearls. This poor author can't afford to do that! LOL. Hope you win too!
I would love to win the Black Pearl Necklace!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless!
By the way I love jewlry.

I would love to win this beautiful black pearl necklace. It would go great with my salt & pepper hair. I wear a lot of black during the colder months, too. Anyway, I would like to read Veil of Pearls & have entered the giveaway over on goodreads.com. hopefully, I'll get my opportunity.
