    Well this is an interesting one now, isn't it ! Are these oriental people coming out to "meet/greet" this ship, or ... are they being rescued ??? Love the look of the ship. And notice the men aboard the ship are equally peering out at the folk in this canoe. Neat !

  3. I just love the artistry on the long boat. Its so different, so new. Interesting how different cultures develope the same kind of vessel, but with their own particular style. :)

  4. P.S. Just finished Veil of Pearls-and I have to say that I loved it! I'm so glad that you addressed the issues of slavery-not only the physical ones, but the spiritual and emotional ones as well. You also shined a light on areas that I haven't read in other books-how the children of inter-racial marriages fared during those times. Great job!
