I just love the artistry on the long boat. Its so different, so new. Interesting how different cultures develope the same kind of vessel, but with their own particular style. :)
P.S. Just finished Veil of Pearls-and I have to say that I loved it! I'm so glad that you addressed the issues of slavery-not only the physical ones, but the spiritual and emotional ones as well. You also shined a light on areas that I haven't read in other books-how the children of inter-racial marriages fared during those times. Great job!
