I knew near to nothing about the War of 1812 before I started researching it and the more I read, the more excited I became. These books are about patriotism and freedom and God. They involve war but they are also adventures and romances.  Here's some reviews on the books:

Surrender the Heart
Loved this book. Read it in two days so I mean this was literally a page turner. Both the plot and the characters were very well developed. The dialogue was realistic and had just enough humor to make me chuckle.

This book is thrilling from beginning to end. I found it difficult to be about other duties because of the temptation to continue reading this story. I am strengthened and encouraged in my own walk of faith by the way the author weaves scriptural principles and practice throughout her writings.

Surrender the Night
This book is a suspense thriller as both Alex and Rose’s lives are in serious danger from the beginning.  Don’t start this book late at night because it will be very difficult to put it down or stop thinking about it.  I recommend this book highly and am greatly looking forward to the next book in the series.

Tyndall writes with such vivid detail readers will feel a part of the action and romance as they experience a historical event they won't soon forget

Loved this book so much I don't even know where to begin. Couldn't put it down!! My favorite of the series!
