As some of you may have noticed, this blog has now become my official website! If you type in www.marylutyndall.com in your browser, you will get here. I did this for a number of reasons, but mainly to consolidate my presence on the internet and make it easier for people to find and connect with me. You'll see at the top that I have links where you can get a list of all my books and find out more about them. You can also contact me, sign up for my newsletter and enter to win a book, go check out all my articles on history, read the tons of devotional posts I've written, read my testimony and find out what books are on the horizon.
I'm also planning on having a ship page where you can see ship diagrams and learn parts of tall ships and a bit about sailing that might be of interest. If there's anything else you'd like to see here, please let me know. I'm in complete control of this site and I want it to be a pleasant comfortable place for everyone.
I want to wish all the mother and mothers-to-be a very Happy Mother's Day!!! My daughter just became a mother and it's been so much fun for me to see her interact with her daughter. Motherhood is the hardest, most challenging, most heartbreaking, most stressful, most rewarding, most fulfilling, most wonderful thing I've ever done. I'm sure every mother would agree. Most of us would be willing to sacrifice anything to see our children happy. For me, the greatest gift my kids could give me is for me to see them walking with God, loving Him and serving Him. Because I know that only then will they find true peace and joy in this crazy world. Plus, there's the extra bonus of spending eternity with them in heaven!. If you have kids who aren't following the Lord right now, pray for them and never stop. God honors a mother's prayer. He understands wayward children more than we do. And He has made provision in His word for the descendats of the righteous. So pray and believe!
Also, let's not forget to honor our own mothers. Regardless of what kind of mother they've been, if we are breathing, functioning adults, they deserve our love and respect for at least taking care of us. Most of us have mothers who did so much more! And if your mother has gone on to heaven, ask God to convey your love to her there. She will get the message!
May all of you precious ladies out there have a great mother's day!!
Fri May 9th,
ReplyDelete"Morning, MaryLu."
First off ... "congratulations" to -- Mrs Tina and Kathy C !
Thanks for sharing all of your updated news, MaryLu.
And I also want to wish "all" Moms, a most "Happy and Blessed Mothers' Day" this coming Sunday ... hopefully shared with family and/or loved ones. You hit the nail on the head .... "being a Mother is no easy job, and, it's not for wimps" !
Also totally agree with -- the greatest gift and delight to me would be ... "all" of my children walking with and serving our Lord. And knowing that "one day" ... we would be together in Heaven.
My own Mother passed away 25 years ago, and I DO appreciate all that she did, and sacrificed. It certainly was NOT easy.
Blessings to all. In Him, Brenda
Afternoon MaryLu!
ReplyDeleteJust read your email...thank you so much! I can't wait to read this trilogy.
Congratulations Kathy C.
Happy Mothers Day!
Blessings,Tina
Exciting! Love the new streamlined site :) Also, love the new cover of The Redemption!
ReplyDeleteHi, MaryLu!!
ReplyDeleteCatching up on posts I missed - the day this one went up, I was in surgery. Mother's Day - I was recuperating at home and unable to go out to eat with family, however, I was later visited by my mother and children who brought a meal in for me and I'm rejoicing in the fact that the Lord may be using my illness to reach a son I've been praying for - for years!! God is faithful!! You're SO right - a mother's greatest joy and treasure is to know that her children will spend eternity with her!!
Happy belated Mother's Day to you, MaryLu - hope your day was blessed and joyful!!
Love the website design and joyfully anticipating my opportunity to read "The Redemption" and other of your books I've purchased!! I have shared about it on Facebook, as well as each of your other books you post.
Praying God blesses you tenfold for spreading His light!! Love and hugs to you, MaryLu!!
