Annual Talk Like a Pirate Day Contest!!

Ahoy Maties, this be me annual Talk Like A Pirate Day contest!  If ye been following me blog, ye knows I do this every year in honor o' me love for pirates. The actual grand event be tomorrow on the 19th, but we be celebrating today.  I thought you might enjoy this funny video!




 What is the prize for today's contest?  It's the winner's choice of one of the following. 

 Prize 1:  ALL FIVE of my Legacy of the King's Pirate's paperbacks, signed.
OR
Prize 2:  The ship replica shown below. 


Sorry but USA only.  The cost of shipping things to Canada or overseas is outrageous! 

Now, for the rules of the game.  Leave a comment with your EMAIL and yer choice for the meanin' of the word in BOLD.  (No cheating or looking them up in your pirate dictionary!)  Answers an' the winner will be announced next Friday, the 25th!!!

4. Ye're supposed to be King's men, not bard-slabs!

So, have at it, ye land-lubbers!!    An' remember, yer answers have no effect on winnin' !

Remember that if ye go into any Krispy Kreme tomorrow on Talk Like a Pirate day and talk like a pirate to an employee, ye get a free donut!! OR if ye go in pirate attire, ye get a free dozen!

    Ahoy Cap'n MaryLu! This be a fine day fer a Pirate contest, says I! First of all, Mate, I thought ye be askin' fer the meaning of the actual word BOLD and I was goin' to say that fer me BOLD be that Scalawag impersonatin' Cap'n Jack Sparrow! To say there be no such thing as Yar! or Arrr! Just silly nonsense. Try telling Captain Barbossa that pirates don't say Arrr.....he'd be makin' ye walk the plank! And to be suggestin' other holidays instead of Talk Like A Pirate Day? Arrgh! I say we hunt the mutinous scoundrel down and force him to only drink water until he shouts ARRR to the top of his lungs. LOL....this is fun. ;-)
