Have a Blessed CHRISTmas to all. My map led me to call my daughter to sing Happy Birthday today. Also to this wonderful page. I am still in awe of the post MaryLu put up the other day --about Jesus leaving his Fathers side and walking down thT long corridor and opening up that door to the blackness of sin, death etc to become a man. That was astounding and I shared it with the hope that someone might let it it home to them.
Haha! Did i find me chaplain? I's be a Chapps... Well I thinks me not be tellin' ya what they called us. ;) but formerly known as a Chaplains Assistant in the kings army! (well... The U.S. anyways ;)

Haha! Yes, I was. I actually enjoyed most of my time in, but once I moved, got married and had children among some other things, it became apparent that I would not be able to make a career out of it. I was in for 8 years, joining just a week after I turned 18 since my dad (prior army) nor mom (Jehovah Witness) would sign me off. The one thing I was honestly surprised to find, was the percentage of Chaplains Assistance that were not Christian or even had any religious affiliation. Many soldiers had told me I should have been a chaplain, but I wouldn't have dreamed to have that much responsibility! Besides I was terrible at school and other than 1 year of Bible College I was done with it.
