Temple of Baal coming to a city near you!

Update!  Good news. The company that was erecting the arch from the Temple of Baal has decided against it.  This from the TELEGRAPH

When the IDA revealed last December that it was intending to use its data and expertise to build not one but two replica Palmyra arches – to be unveiled simultaneously in Trafalgar Square in London and Times Square in New York – it generated headlines across the world.

Since then there has been some backtracking on the original idea. There will be no simultaneous unveiling in New York – they may transport the London arch there later, or build another one – and the Palmyra arch that is being reconstructed is no longer the entrance to the Temple of Bel (which survived an attempt to blow it up in August 2015) but the Arch of Triumph (partially destroyed in October) formerly located at one end of the Great Colonnade.

Not sure why they back-tracked, but this is really great news !

A replica of the arch from Syria's temple of Baal will be temporarily erected in New York and London next month. And many more cities in the future.  Yup, I said Baal.  According to the New York Post, and I quote

The life-size model of the original 2,000-year-old structure, known as the Arch of the Temple of Bel, will stand approximately 48 feet high and 23 feet wide. It will be one of two constructed in China for exhibition likely in Times Square and London’s Trafalgar Square as part of a World Heritage Week event in April 2016, said Roger Michel, executive director for the Institute for Digital Archaeology.
The institute plans to construct approximately 1,000 such versions of the arch in cities throughout the world.

So what, you might say. It's just an old temple. And it's history! Something ISIS destroyed and should be remembered, right? Read the Old Testament lately?  Look up the god, Baal, and see how the true God feels about him. Most of the people living in the land promised to Israel were Baal worshipers. God gave them 400 years to repent while the Jewish people were slaves in Egypt. When they didn't, God brought his people to the land He promised them and told them to wipe out everyone in it, man, woman, child, and often their animals too.  Sound cruel?

We know that there were usually lots of people gathered, often on a high hill (like a theatre or stadium) to observe public sex, just like we see in movies and television and on the internet (Numbers 22:41, I Kings 12:25-33). We think that our watching these things is different than the idolatry of old, but this is not so.

    The whole community came out and all of the best pagan ideas for success in crops and fertility were promoted, just like a business seminar that promotes unbiblical ideas that justify the worldliness of its origin.

    The wicked personalities (promoters and performers) were respected and given the platform (like rock stars and Hollywood’s “People’.) Some of them were great dancers (like Brittany Spears and Madonna) while others were great musicians (like Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney) (I Kings 15:12-14). In our day, people who go to our churches celebrate celebrities when they should be doing the opposite. Psalm 101:1, 3 says “I will walk in my house… I will set no wicked thing before my eyes…”

    People danced around the Asherah pole, which was nothing more than a phallic symbol. It is quite possible that these poles functioned somewhat like the poles in what are called, “gentlemen’s clubs.” The people also acted out lustful, licentious, bawdy scenes for the enjoyment of all who came (Isaiah 57:5-8; Deuteronomy 23:17).They had all the different kinds of sexual experiences on display including men with women, men with men and all of the combinations that are popular today in sit-coms, movies and news reports. On top of that, they invited the crowd to participate (I Kings 14:24).

MaryLu Here: In addition to the above, Baal worship involved child sacrifice. The would take babies and place them in the arms of Baal and set them on fire.  Read from Jeremiah 10:4-6

 4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
    5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:
    6 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.

And COINCIDENTALLY, this momument will be erected on April 19th, which is the beginning of a 13 day ritual of worship to Baal and Molech. I don't know about you, but I find the timing disturbing.

“April 19 – May 1 – Blood Sacrifice To The Beast, a most critical 13-day period. Fire sacrifice is required on April 19.April 19 is the first day of the 13-day Satanic ritual day relating to fire – the fire god, Baal, or Molech/Nimrod (the Sun God), also known as the Roman god, Saturn (Satan/Devil). This day is a major human sacrifice day, demanding fire sacrifice with an emphasis on children. This day is one of the most important human sacrifice days, and as such, has had some very important historic events occur on this day.”

So, now we are erecting a monument to Baal right here in New York City!  How do you think God is going to feel about that?  Well, honestly, maybe it is the perfect way to declare our countries allegiance to the god of perversion, pornography, and child sacrifice since  68% of CHRISTIAN men watch pornography on a regular basis, homosexuality is rampant, and we have murdered 58 million babies since 1973.

God is not going to abide with America forever.
