Prepare for the battle ahead!

Folks, there's a huge battle coming to this earth, and, in fact, it has already started. Yet so many people
aren't even aware, or if they hear snippets of warnings here and there, they choose to put their head in the sand. Believe me, I wish I could stick my head in the sand some days. Every day I turn on the news I hear something that shocks me to my core. Here are just a few recent news items which are easily verified by simply googling them.

• Pope compares ISIS invasion to Jesus's commandment to spread the Gospel.
• 1 in 4 pregnancies in America end in Abortion
• Our Federal Gov’t. now gives out “Rainbow Badges” for teachers and staff in California promoting themselves as “Allies of LGBT”.
• President Obama issued a “National Directive” to ALL public schools in U.S. that they MUST comply to offer “unfettered” transgender access” or ELSE, face the loss of Federal funds to school districts. 
• Professor Mark Tushnet, from where else but from our nations arguably most prolific “intelligence” college Harvard, encourages students to treat Conservative Christians like “Nazis”.
• Scientists headed by Professor George Church, of no where else, Harvard, now planning to fabricate the human genome synthetically to create human beings without biological parents.
• The Olympics show will go on this summer as all Olympic athletes to be given anti-Zika condoms upon their arrival in Brazil.
• Tons of Earthquakes have hit the planet in 2016.
• Thousands of Christians are murdered in the Middle East
• Our government is militarizing our local law enforcement. Why?  (I know this for a fact because my brother is a cop) 
• What was considered pornography and blasphemy 20 years ago is now found in nearly every prime time TV show.

Let's face it, our world today is a totally different place than it was 20 or even 10 years ago.  Without a doubt, we are living in the end times predicted in the Bible. And, I hate to say it, but things are going to get worse. Much worse. Why? Because our enemy, Satan, and his hordes of demons are running wild over the planet and they will continue to do so as more and more people reject God and His offer of free salvation.

Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time. Rev 12:12

True Christians will be Satan's highest priority to target. He hates us with a passion and would love nothing more than to turn us away from God or to kill us.  BUT if we are walking in God's light, we are protected and Satan cannot touch us. Don't think he won't try. He'll come at us any way he can.. through a loved one, through a weakness, through tragedy and loss and need and want. He'll whisper half-truths in your ear until you feel like your head will explode.

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7

Many Christians try the resisting part, but they neglect the submitting part.  We have to be all in for God, living our lives for His Glory, obedient in all things, if we want that kind of power over the devil. Many of you are familiar with the Armor of God listed in Ephesians 6. I won't go into it here except to say that you can't just put on the armor at will whenever you feel attacked. You have to LIVE in the armor. If you want to be victorious over our enemy, you can never take off that armor!

Here are four things you must do if you want to remain in your armor and be victorious

• Complete submission to God
• Read the Word, memorize the Word, know the Word, speak the Word (This is the key to everything else and it is also your Sword. Don't leave home without your Sword!)
• Walk in love first toward God and then toward all people. For a great definition of real love, read 1 Corinthians 13
• Prayer!  Always in prayer!

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.  Ephesians 6:18

It's time to get serious about God. It's time to prepare for the battle ahead. If we don't, we may get hit and hit hard.  It is not my purpose to invoke fear in anyone. If you belong to God and are walking in the light... here are some promises you can count on


If God is for us, who can be against us?  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  Romans 8:32


For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  Hebrews 13:5

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Psalm 118:6

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.  Psalm 91:9-13
