Greetings children of the Most High!

Here's another list of important events that happened recently around the world. There are always so many, but I try and choose the ones that seem the most important. I'm not trying to frighten you. However, I do believe the Lord wants us to pay attention and be knowledgeable about world events for three reasons.

1. Prayer
2. Preparation
3. Evangelism

So, with that in mind, here we go!

Plagues/Earthquakes/Famine

• Diphtheria, a highly contagious disease, reappears in Venezuela
• Strong Earthquake rocks Japan, knocking out power 
• 35% of Americans can't pay their bills 
• Other quakes:  A 6.2 magnitude in China.  A 6.9 in Papua in South Pacific, A 6.4 in Tibet.  A 6.3 in Indonesia.  A 5.8 in the Caribbean sea.  A 6.8 in Japan.
• State of Minnesota has 296 Muslim refugees diagnosed with active Tuberculosis, most since the national epidemic 60 years ago.

Christian Apostasy

Wars and Rumors of Wars
