I ran out of time yesterday, so I'm challenging you all to come up with a verse from the Bible that fits this picture...  What say you?

  1. Proverbs 27:12
The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.

    Gorgeous picture.

  2. Amazing picture.

...."And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm"...Mark 4:39 KJV

  3. This picture is breathtaking!!!

The moment I saw it I immediately thought of Jeremiah 29:11. I particularly like the way the NLT [New Living Translation] phrases it:

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster,to give you a future and a hope."

No matter the journey or the storms that may come or the dead calm, it is the Lord who steers the ship. I simply trust because I know He LOVES me completely and has my best interests at the helm.

I appreciate your ministry so much. Thank you!
    Grace

  4. Incredible picture!! Psalm 91:1-2 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

    Blessings, Kara

  8. And behold there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves but he was asleep. Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a great calm. But the men marveled saying what manner of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey him! Matthew 8:23-27

  9. What a beautiful picture! When I saw the picture it made me think of Psalms 46:1-3 "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge."

  10. Psalm 18:30-32
As for God , His way is perfect, the Lord's word is flawless; He shields all who takes refuge in Him.
For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God ?
It is God who arms me with strength ,
    And keeps my way secure!

I love your pictures of the mighty seas and there is no other that could create the turbulent waters and no other that can save those who love Him from those mighty waves.

  12. Waking up with a song running through your head is a great way to wake up. One Day last week the song -"Be Still and know that I am God" was my song. No alarm clock could even come close to waking me up with the joy of those words which reminds me of this great picture above .
