He calms the storm,
So that its waves are still.
Then they are glad because they are quiet;
So He guides them to their desired haven.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

And His Love Endures Forever! He guides us to our safe haven, He stills the waves. If we could remember this always. If we could keep our eyes on Him, let Him lead us in His ways , not in the ways we think we should go-- because that is where the rough waters are-- and there are no safe havens there! Yet --we--or I --am so guilty of trying to take the helm and land in an unsafe haven. Getting out of it is not as easy as just being one with God and let Him guide us to that place of love, peace and everlasting love. And Calmness!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed, Elsie! I'm always trying to steer the ship to a warm tropical haven somewhere. LOL. But that's often not where God wants me, and I want to be where He is. There's no better place in the world!
