Inching toward the Tribulation - an End Times Checklist

 

Every once and awhile I like to assemble all the end times prophecies in the Scriptures and see where we are at on the timeline. Below I will list as many prophecies of the last days I can find or think of and give proof of their fulfillment or soon fulfillment.  I hope it encourages and blesses you!

 

Increase in Earthquakes everywhere. (Matthew 24:7)  There has been a nearly 2000% increase in Earthquakes since the 1900s.  You can find all kinds of other articles about this.  (CHECK)

Famines - (Matthew 24:7) Although deaths from famines have gone down in the past years, During the 20th century, an estimated 70 to 100 million people died from famines across the world. Many are predicting that Global famine is soon on the way. (Check)

Pestilence - (Matthew 24:7) Do I need to say anything here? Aside from our current pandemic, we have outbreaks in 2020 of Monkeypox, Ebola, Measles... too many to count.   (Check) Here's the list from the WHO

 

Signs in the sky  - (Luke 21:25, Acts 2:31) If you've been alert these past ten years or so, you've no doubt heard about the consecutive blood moons that occurred on Jewish Feast days, the rare solar eclipse that crossed the US in 2017, and the Revelation 12 Sign that appeared in perfect order on Sept 23rd, 2017. Since then, several people have caught on camera strange planetary systems and large asteroids very near the earth.  Check out The Final Days You tube channel if you're interested. (Check)

Wars and Rumors - (Matthew 24:6) Not sure I need to comment on this one either. Here's a list of all conflicts in the 20th century, along with the number killed. (check)

 

Kingdom against Kingdom (Matthew 24:7) Kingdom here essentially means a certain race or ethnic group. Obviously we see this happening more and more in our current world. Arabs vs. Non-arabs, Blacks against Whites, India vs. Pakistan, China vs everyone. I believe this category not only encompasses wars but is more specific to racism and conflicts between races and people groups.  (check)

 

The Great Apostasy - Falling away of true Christians (1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Thess 2:3) If you don't see that modern Christianity has fallen away from true Biblical faith, then please get alone with the Lord and ask Him to show you. I could go on and on about this, but we see more false doctrines and teachings in the church today than we ever have in the past. Many Many believers have bought into these ideas that tickle their ears instead of truly following Jesus and being obedient to His Word. We also see many Christians walking away from Jesus. False Christians (2 Timothy 4:3-4, 2 Timothy 3:5, Matthew 13:25, Matt 7:21-23) These are people who claim to know Jesus, who attend church and may even teach Sunday School, but in their hearts they do not know the Lord. The have a form of godliness and religion but have none of the power of the Holy Spirit to save them. The Scriptures are full of examples and warnings about such people. I've been a Christian long enough to have met several people like this. They talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. They bear no fruit of salvation in their lives. Churches today are full of these types of people. (Check)

As in the days of Noah -(Matthew 24:37) Jesus described what the world would look like right before the rapture of the church. We've been taught that His reference is only to the evil that would take over all men's hearts in the end. Yet, there is so much more to Noah's day. A quick read of Genesis 6 will show you that there were Nephilim on earth at that time, human-fallen angel hybrids who were polluting the Gene pool so the Messiah could not be born. We also know that God gave mankind 120 years to repent before He sent the flood. I believe we received that same warning in 1900 when the Jewish people first started coming back into their land. Do we see that today the intent of every man's heart is only evil? Yes! Do we see Nephilim? I believe they are here and have learned to disguise themselves to look like us. I believe they will expose themselves soon as aliens from another planet come to save us from ourselves. But that's another story. (Check!)

Human Character will take a nose dive into wickedness - (2 Timothy 3:1-5) I challenge you to take a quick read of this Scripture and tell me that it doesn't perfectly describe man's character today. (Check)

False teachers, false messiahs ( 2 Peter 2, Matt 24:11, Mark 13:22) One of the first things Jesus warns us about after the disciples asked him about end times was to beware of false prophets. He said they would rise up and DECEIVE many. This goes hand in hand with the Great Apostasy above. I used to believe that these false prophets were only crazy people that we find leading cults, but now I believe that many pastors in our own churches are false, teaching heresies that masquerade as Biblical truth.  Then there are the people who actually claim they are the Messiah. (Check!)

 

Christian persecution  Matt 24:9  From a 2019 report on Christian Persecution: 11 Christians killed every day. 105 Churches burned every month, 14% Rise last year in the number of Christians being persecuted, 4136 Christians killed last year. Though we don't feel it here in the US, I believe we will very soon. (Check!)

Scoffers (2 Peter 3:3-4)  Do we see people scoffing Christians about the return of Jesus? Well, I can speak from someone who often posts about His return, that yes, I see a lot of scoffing. I also see a lot of it online and much of it comes from other Christians. (check!)

Love grown cold (Matthew 24:12, Matthew 10:35, Micah 7:6)  Do we see a lack of love in our world today? Jesus indicated that it would be due to an abounding lawlessness. Do we see rampant lawlessness? Do we see people, rioting, looting, destroying, burning, hurting people, and even killing others without a shred of conscience? Yes. I also believe Jesus meant that family members who were supposed to love each other would turn against each other because of Him. I have seen that in my own family, unfortunately. If you've lived long like I have, you may remember a time when people were at least polite to one another, even if they disagreed. Kindness and respect are absent from our society (Check!)

 

Speed of travel (Daniel 12:4) The angel told Daniel during one of his many prophetic visitations to seal up the information he was giving Daniel because it was for the time of the end when people would travel to and fro. The word for traveling to and fro is shuwt which means to move about quickly back and forth. Today, we can hop on a plane and be on the other side of the world in less than a day. (Check!)

 

Overabundance of information (Daniel 12:4)  The angel also told Daniel that knowledge would increase. Daniel would have had no way to know how computers would be invented in the 20th century and that now anyone with a phone can instantly access more information than is in the largest library in the world.  Unfortunately no amount of information seems to be making anyone smarter. (Check)

Deception and lies everywhere (Matthew 24:11, 2 Tim 3:13, 2 John 1:7, Rev 12:9, Rev 13:14, 2 Thess 2:10) I can honestly say that in all my 61 years I have never seen so many lies. And I'm not talking about friends, family and neighbors. I'm talking about the very people we should expect to tell us the truth, the media and those in power. Yet, I am astounded to watch a famous person on TV blatantly say something that I know for a fact is untrue. I used to trust the news when I was young. I no longer do. ALL the news channels have an agenda. All are lying. All follow Satan, the father of all lies. It's increasingly difficult to find out the truth. Every day I ask the Lord to give me His discernment in all things. Of course we know at the very end when Satan takes over the Antichrist, he will be able to deceive the entire world. I believe we are seeing the beginnings of that now. (Check)

Rampant Homosexualtiy (Luke 17:28, 1 Corinthians 6:9) Jesus told us that right before His return, the days would be like the time of Lot. If you remember Lot's story, you'll know that God destroyed Sodom because of its rampant and violent homosexuality. I'm sure I don't need to comment any further on our present culture. (Check)

Stress (2 Tim 3:1) - We are told that in the last days "perilous" times would come. In other words, there would be a lot of fear, danger, and grave risk near the end. As we are currently on a world wide lockdown, violent riots destroy our cities, Communists attempt to take over our government, North Korea and China are rattling their sabers at us, not to mention the famines, earthquakes, and storms, I'd say we are definitely living in perilous times.  (check)

 

Jerusalem will be a problem for the entire world (Zechariah 12:2-3). Israel is the size of New Jersey, yet the entire world seems to be focusing on its capital, Jerusalem. It is the source of worldwide controversy and the reason for many wars and many attempts at peace. (Check)

Materialism (2 Timothy 3:1-2) Do I need to comment on this? I've never seen such a materialistic culture where everyone worships at that altar of money and possessions. Why not? If you don't believe in God or an afterlife, why not just try and grab all you can now? Such a shame.You might say we've always had materialism in the world, but I would argue not to this degree. People today are willing to lie, cheat, steal and kill for money. (Check)

 

Cashless Society - (Revelation 13:16-17)  We see this coming soon. I'm sure you've seen the signs in various stores that they no longer are giving out change. Now the Federal Reserve is saying they will soon not print any more money. This, of course, all lines up with the Mark of the Beast. The only way the Antichrist will be able to stop people from buying and selling is if there is no cash. (Check)

 

Mass Animal Deaths - (Hosea 4:3, Zephaniah 1:2-3)This is one I haven't really followed, but when I looked it up, it amazed me. Check out this Site that lists all the recent mass animal deaths! (Check)

 

All Eyes will see Jesus - (Revelation 1:7) - What a strange prophecy this must have seemed to everyone who read it right up until the past 50 years. How could every eye on the planet see Jesus return? But now we know with our current cellular technology that everyone on earth could at the same time witness something happening in a single location. (Check) 

Things we are seeing forming now and will soon be seeing come to pass

Gog-Magog war (Ezekiel 38)  This is a future war wherein the nations of Russia, Iran, Turkey, Norther Sudan and Libya attack Israel, looking for a spoil. Many scholars believe that this war will precede or mark the start of the seven-year Tribulation. Interestingly enough, none of these nations were even allies until the past 20 years. None of these nations had troops in Syria (which is right next to Israel) until 10 years ago. Now we see Turkish, Russian, and Iranian troops all over Syria. Interesting. Once the United States is out of the way or a anti-Israeli president is elected, these enemies of Israel will not hesitate to attack!

 

Mark of the Beast  (Revelation 13:16-17)  We learn in this prophecy that the Antichrist will try and force everyone on earth to receive some sort of "mark" on their right hand or forehead and they can't buy or sell without it. Today we have the technology for such a mark in the form of a chip, quantum dot, or hydrogel that could be inserted just beneath the skin and could carry all our information, banking, personal, medical, etc. Then with just a swipe over a reader, we could buy whatever we wanted. It's interesting to note that with our current lockdown, we can't buy or sell anything without wearing a mask, and in some countries they are now requiring a vaccination for any sort of traveling. I believe the Mark will be a part of the vaccination process for Covid-19 in the future. But not to worry, this will happen after the rapture of the church.

One World Government -(Daniel 3 and Daniel 7, Revelation 13) rise of communism. From the book of Daniel, we see that there will be a final world empire, which the Antichrist will rule over. We see this final empire rising here in the US already and across the globe. There are a group of very powerful, very wealthy families who have been ruling behind the scenes for some times now. I've posted several articles on this blog about them, but it's easy to discover the truth if you go looking. No, the Illuminati are not a "conspiracy theory" nor is the idea of a New World Order. Several US presidents have issued statements about the coming New World Order. The Covid-19 plandemic is just part of their plans to take over the world. The fact that we are seeing this happening is another indication of how close we are.

One World Religion.  (Revelation 13:11-18, Revelation 17) During the reign of the Antichrist there will be a one-world religion described as the Whore of Babylon in Revelation. Just in the past 10 years, we are really seeing this begin to form. The current Pope, in my opinion, is the False Prophet we read about in Revelation. He is doing everything he can to distort the true Scriptures and form an alliance of religions. Read these great articles to find out more. Since we are seeing this form, we know we are close!

Peace treaty to confirm (Daniel 9:27)- With the signing of a new Abrahamic Accord, we now have a peace treaty between Israel and most of her Muslim neighbors. Though we didn't hear much about it on the news, this treaty is unprecedented and very historic.  In Daniel we see that the Antichrist will "confirm" which means strengthen or add to an existing treaty. Therefore the emergence of this treaty is highly significant and yet another sign of how close we are to the end.

 

3rd temple built (Daniel 9:27) We also see in this prophecy that in order for the antichrist to enter the temple and bring an end to the sacrifices, there has to be a 3rd Temple built in Jerusalem. This has been underway for several decades now. In fact, I've heard that it wouldn't take very long at all to build the temple after permission is granted. It must be built by the middle of the 7 year tribulation, so they would only need 3 years, but I'm hearing it would take much less time than that. They have everything all ready at this point.

The first thing I want to point out is that based on all the prophecies we see coming true in our day, how can anyone doubt that there is a God in Heaven who knows everything and that the Bible is His Word and is True!  Even skeptics should stop and ponder how all these events we see happening now were foretold thousands of years ago!. Amazing.

Secondly, if any of you can think of more signs, please email me. I think this is a pretty thorough list, but I may have missed a few things. 

Lastly, we are living in the last minutes of the last days. If you can't see that from all the above, I should pray for you!  I personally believe we are on the cusp of the Tribulation. Like a stalking animal, we see it slinking toward us, teeth barred, eyes full of evil. But we are not afraid!  Our God will snatch us out of here at the last minute!  How much time is left? I can't see us lasting another year. I still think the year 2020 has great promise. The next few months will surely give us more information. 

In the meantime, stay close to Jesus, read His Word everyday, pray and fast and do the work He calls you to do!  Then one day soon, we will all hear that wonderful trumpet call and in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be changed and meet our Lord in the air. Can't Wait!
