MaryLu's Friday Musings - What now?

I realize that many of you are disappointed, perhaps shocked that Joe Biden is now our president.  There may be some of you who are thrilled, who hated Trump. I'm not here to debate the merits of each man. I will say, however, that it is my belief, based on research into the Biden platform, that he and Harris will turn our great republic into a socialist country. The funny thing about socialism and even communism, it can sound so wonderful with all its promises of equality and fairness, portraying a society where everyone can afford a doctor, have a job, have a place to live, etc.  But people neglect to ask what is the cost? What do we give up to have a universal income, place to live, free healthcare? It's the age-old rule that whoever pays the bills is the one in control. If government is providing you with the necessities you need to live, they can easily withhold those necessities if you disobey. Like a parent who cancels allowance or grounds a disobedient child, an all-powerful government will give you no choice but to comply. And this is precisely what our forefathers were desperate to avoid. They put the power in the hands of America's people, but only if we could keep it, as Benjamin Franklin said.  He knew that our republic depended on its people being educated and involved in the policies and laws of government and to understand what freedom was. He knew America's people must be moral and just and good to make this work. But the Scripture tells us that the heart of man is inherently wicked. Power and money corrupt and we have been led down a shadowy trail for quite some time. I would guess nearly 100 years, the great power families of the world, those who long for ultimate control and money, have been plotting the demise of our nation. 

Reeducate the youth, take charge of the media, and entertain the masses with sex, drugs, and rock and roll, and sooner or later you will have a nation filled with pliable ignorant sheep who are easily swayed by a media that behaves more like a dramatic play than one who cites actual facts. Of course, first you must take that annoying Creator God out of everything, for if people actually believe in and follow Him, they'll be onto the deception. 

Hence, we find ourselves in a nation that would not be recognizable by those who created it. A nation divided by those wishing to restore freedom and those blinded by the promises of socialism. Yet, I begin to wonder if the division we see isn't also just part of their plan. Conquer and divide. Since most of our recent presidents have just been part of this global cabal, how did Trump sneak in? Could he have been brought in to tickle our ears with his talk of making our country great, restoring our Godly heritage, thus gathering a huge following, only to have the media insult, degrade, hate, and malign him at every turn so the other half of the nation loathed him so much, it split families and friends? Were we too quick to throw our trust in a man whose penthouse apartment is filled with statues of ancient gods, whose odd hand gestures and handshakes are similar to those of the freemasons? who cheated on his wife multiple times?  I know I may be upsetting some of you, but we live in an age of deception. Jesus and the Apostles warned us multiple times. The devil himself can disguise himself as an angel of light. 

I voted for Trump. Twice. I liked some of what he did for our country. But the more I seek the Lord on him, the more I am sensing something is not right. Will he come back and take over like the QAnon people are saying? (yes, they are still saying that!) I have no idea. Nor do I really care. 

 

Why? Because no man or woman or movement is going to save America. Unless America repents of her sins, turns away from her immorality and abominations, and returns to God, we are heading into severe judgement. Do you see any repentance?  Any change and move toward God? Yes, there may be small pockets here and there, but I see none of that. So to expect a Great Awakening or a Great Revival and outpouring of God is ludicrous at best and insulting to our God at worst. 

What will a Biden/Harris America look like? Not good, I can tell you. Biden is heavily compromised by the Chinese, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he didn't step aside and let them take over. 

But God....  

I didn't want this post to descend into depression. Sorry to ramble. The truth is, I no longer trust any of the media to tell us the truth. I no longer trust any politician in Washington or anywhere, for that matter. I do not think a man, woman, or policy is going to save us. Only our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ can save us!  I no longer even care about America. It was a great nation once when we worshiped God, but no longer. It must fall for the New World Order to rise and it must rise soon since we are at the end of the final generation. 

I am a citizen of Heaven, a member of the Kingdom of God, and therefore, I look forward to being called home soon. God's kingdom is the only one I care about and the only one that matters. Mankind's nations and kingdoms rise and fall but our God is always on the throne. 

So, I guess my purpose in writing this is to tell you not to be depressed, not to worry about what's going on in America or the world, but rather to focus on two things

• Growing in your walk with the Lord and becoming more like Him
• Doing whatever He asks you to do to further His Kingdom here before He comes

These are the tasks of any good ambassador who is stationed away from their home country but representing that country in the best way they can. Remember, before war breaks out, the leader of a country always calls his ambassadors home!  

Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King!

Stay apprised of current events as best you can but do not focus on them. Focus on Jesus and basque in His love. Don't get caught up in taking sides, Right/left Republican/Democrat Christian/Atheist . Take the side of Jesus who loves every human soul. Look at everyone through His eyes.. with love and concern for their eternity. 

Deception is everywhere, and often in the least likely of places. Often it is disguised in light and "Christianity". In this day and age, we can only trust Jesus and the Word of God for the truth.
