I think I'm off a day, but Jesus rose from the grave 3 days after Nisan 14th, which is the first day of Passover. This week, Tues-Wed is Nisan 17 on the Jewish Calendar. This date falls on different days of the week each year and is not the same as Easter Sunday, which is a pagan holiday. So, let's all get on our knees, raise our hands, and thank our Lord Jesus for conquering sin, death, and the grave for us!
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“Oh Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Covering those door posts with the blood of THE LAMB! It is the only safe place to be right now. Come Sweet Jesus this Passover would be perfect. Thank you for sharing Sister!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, Cillie!
DeleteSeveral months ago, I had asked if you had any idea if our pets would be included in the Rapture. Of course, no one knows that for sure, and I felt in my heart at that time that I did not want to go without my precious baby, and felt guilty for that desire, as we are to love the Lord more than anything here on earth. Well, my precious baby passed away on 03/24/2021. I am free now to be able to go to the Lord and hope that she is there waiting for me! I miss her so much. I love the Lord for saving my soul so that I can continue to experience the love in the universe! Passover would be a time to accomplish this. Come, Dear Lord. I am on my knees thanking you for conquering sin, death, and the grave!! Hope to see you soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss, Kathy. I know how much it hurts to lose a beloved pet. But I DO BELIEVE with all my heart that our pets await us in heaven. I know a very reliable pastor who visited heaven in a dream and his pet monkey from when he was a child came running up to him! So, it won't be long before you see your dear pet again. :-)
DeleteKathy, my dog too just passed 4/7/21 and it’s absolutely heartbreaking. Just like you I was afraid and worried for her during that time when Jesus comes for us. I feel now that I am ready for Jesus to come take us in the rapture. I long for Him so much. I too believe that our dogs will be waiting for us in Heaven.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, BallerinaTay! I also believe we will see our pets soon again too. May the Lord comfort you with His Love.
