Friday Musings: We are Soon to Land on Mt. Ararat!

Greetings Dearly Beloved Saints,

Whew, what a week. For one thing, I woke up Wednesday to find that my website was down.  I did some checking and truly believed Google (who owns blogger) must have taken me down, but that didn't make sense. I'm a nobody compared to most sites. As you can see my website (marylutyndall.com)  was only the url address for the real site here on blogger, so thank God, they only removed the security for my name and not the entire blogger site. So, for now, this is the address of my site until I can figure out a work around. The timing of the security issue was a bit suspicious since I had just posted an article that people could send to lost family and friends. But no worries. We are victorious over the enemy's plans!  Thank you so much for everyone who contacted me to make sure I was okay. That truly warmed my heart and made me realize that there are those out there who are encouraged by what I post. Which is one of the main reasons I keep up this blog, to encourage, to help save the lost, to wake up the sleeping church, and to get the remnant excited about the Lord's return!

Now for the news. We are in a high watch for the Lord's rescue this month. Actually, yesterday and today are the true dates for Rosh Hashana or the Feast of Trumpets, which many believe will be the dates of the rapture. (the Jews are off a month. Long explanation there)  But we know the Lord already has His day picked in His perfect timing and it may or may not be on a Jewish Feast Day. So, we keep our eyes on the sky in great anticipation.

Why do we think it's soon? Because of all the news below. Here in California in Los Angeles people can't go into any public building without a vaccine. Forget the mask, you need the vax now. I think we'll see more and more of this soon. Also in CA, ALL children who attend any school, public or private, will be required to get the vaccine as soon as it is approved for kids. This would include all of my grandkids (ages 5-8). This breaks my heart, but I must trust in Jesus.  Of course in Australia things are much worse. I saw a video of a woman who had posted something on social media questioning the vaccine and the police showed up at her house. We continue to see more people dying from the vaccine, more coverups, more mandates and more people losing their jobs if they won't take it. Some days I wake up and feel like I've been transported to a different planet somewhere. I hear from many of you who are being backed into a corner over your jobs.

Then there are the "quarantine" camps they are building and hiring workers for, built for our safety! Yet much like the Hotel California, you can check in, but you won't ever check out.

Then for some reason Facebook and other social media platforms went dark this week. It does make one wonder. I, for one, do not believe for a minute any reason they are giving. Oh, and if you are a parent who protests the crap they are teaching your kids in school (critical race theory and gender studies)  then the school board wants you to be labeled a Domestic Terrorist. This is just the beginning of conservatives and Christians being labeled terrorists.

Meanwhile thousands of people cross over our borders every day and the pope is hosting a One World Religion meeting at the Vatican. Nothing to see there, right? Oh, and what is going on with the La Palma Volcano? It doesn't seem to be letting up. If half the island does fall into the sea, a tsunami hitting the east coast is likely.  The earth is quaking and groaning.

For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body Romans 8:22-23

Famine is on the way. Supply chains have been cut off and soon we will see more and more shelves at the store empty. I don't believe the remnant will be here much longer, but it couldn't hurt to stock up!

War is on the way as tensions rise between China and Taiwan, Israel and Iran, and immorality has reached an all time high in this country (see below).

In other words, the world is heading toward Tribulation at break-neck speed. Which only means, we are soon to be rescued!  Praise God for His plan to snatch us out of the fire! So, don't let the news alarm you. Inform yourself but only as a matter of prayer and preparation. Remember we are in the Ark so no matter how violent the storm gets, we are safe in our Father's arms.

The book of Jasher gives us more insight into what Noah and his family endured.

And the ark floated upon the face of the waters, and it was tossed upon the waters so that all the living creatures within were turned about like pottage in a cauldron.
And great anxiety seized all the living creatures that were in the ark, and the ark was like to be broken.
And all the living creatures that were in the ark were terrified, and the lions roared, and the oxen lowed, and the wolves howled, and every living creature in the ark spoke and lamented in its own language, so that their voices reached to a great distance, and Noah and his sons cried and wept in their troubles; they were greatly afraid that they had reached the gates of death.
And Noah prayed unto the Lord, and cried unto him on account of this, and he said, O Lord help us, for we have no strength to bear this evil that has encompassed us, for the waves of the waters have surrounded us, mischievous torrents have terrified us, the snares of death have come before us; answer us, O Lord, answer us, light up thy countenance toward us and be gracious to us, redeem us and deliver us.
And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Noah, and the Lord remembered him.
And a wind passed over the earth, and the waters were still and the ark rested.
And the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained.
And the waters decreased in those days, and the ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat. Jasher 6:28-35

Isn't Noah's prayer so much like ours today? So be encouraged, the Lord hears your cries for help! He will rescue you!  Interesting that Ararat means "Reverse the Curse". That's just what Jesus did for us!

Have a wonderful weekend! Maybe I'll see you in the air!

  1. Yes, the world does appear to be on the precipice of the Tribulation for sure! I am praying for a respite soon, wishing the FOT, but whatever God's timing is, I will wait patiently (impatiently). I am anxious and excited at the same time. Hoping to see you soon, MaryLu! I can take FB being down permanently, but cannot stand the thought of your site being taken down. I think many of us depend on your blog for encouragement for the Rapture to be soon! Your strength is our strength!!

    1. Kathy, I smiled at your (impatiently) comment. Me too! Thank you for your kind words. I'm only human and many days I feel very little strength, but the Lord keeps me going... I do His will until the end (which is soon!) HUGS

  2. I have to admit I woke up a bit disappointed this morning to still be here…but God’s timing is perfect!
    Thanks for all the info!
Looking forward to your next book😊

  4. I was so hoping to go home yesterday. But I know God is with me even as things get harder every day. My husband and daughter now are being pushed or lose their jobs by Nov. 1. I tremble at the idea of them giving up. My son who swims for N.C. A A must be tested 3 times a week. Each test is costing my insurance company $500! $1500 every week. Talk about bankrupting the insurance companies to usher in socialized medicine. Not to mention what these Ethylene death sticks are doing to his body. How much longer, Lord??? Yesterday, I was feeling down, But I sat down and read His Word. He immediately brought me to Hebrews 3. Our unbelief will not get us into the Promised Land. So hold on and don't stop believing!

    1. Katy Lee- that is awful about your son being tested 3 times a week, that doesn’t even make sense! Once a week should be plenty!
I am holding on to my job until Thanksgiving (my last day before retirement). I pray your husband and daughter will not lose their jobs. Are their companies prepared to be responsible for any adverse reactions to the V? I read an article about how to fight being forced to get it and that was one of the ideas- to ask that question since they are forcing it on employees. It seems most people would rather not fight it though. So many of my co-workers got it but didn’t really want to. (hospital)

    2. Katy, I'm so sorry. I am praying your children hold out and resist the shot. It's a tough decision for young people, especially if they are not strong in the faith. I seem to remember that about your son. Anyway, many are in your situation. It's disheartening. It can be frightening. But I also know that even if our loved ones take the shot, God can protect them from any poison. We must believe He will. The descendants of the Righteous will be delivered! God watches over our children, whether they are saved or not. I truly believe the Bride is being tested now, purifying her, and removing anything that is not of Him. I'm praying we all remain faithful and stand strong on the Rock, even if that's all we can do.
Bev, you know I'm praying for you, too.. that your job holds out until Thanksgiving... hopefully we will be gone by then! Blessings to you both!

  5. I too thought “they” took your site down! I kept praying and praying and I am so thankful I checked back today and was transferred to the blogspot! I have a lot of posts to catch up on. I can’t believe we are still going with all of the absolute chaos. Everything is backwards. Right is wrong, wrong is right. But God warned us of that in His word. It’s just crazy the information that comes on the news now days. Here in Oklahoma were I live there was a baptism of some football players and a coach after football practice. A local church organized it and several people gave their life to Jesus. Well this “Freedom From Religion” group from, get this, Wisconsin is making a big stink about it and saying it’s unconstitutional to perform baptisms on school property. Sometimes I wonder if people like that take great pleasure in hunting Christians down like this and making a big fuss. Of course they do! Satan just loves that! So glad to see your blog up and running! Maranatha!

    1. So glad you found me. So many haven't yet. I'm doing my best to redirect people... and get the links all working again. Yes, I do believe the enemy's people actually go out of their way to hunt us down and cause as many problems as they can. Yet, Praise God people got saved!!! That's why the enemy is so mad! Blessings!!

  6. Whew! I'm glad for this redirection..I was worried your site got taken down. I kept checking and checking. Thanks for all that you do... Concerning the rogue Nigerian governor trying to enforce getting the jab and the vaxx passport, the court smacked him down and the citizens protested!

  7. Hi MaryLu, I too am relieved that all is well and you are back online. I had planned to email you but I spend little time on the computer these days and didn't get that far (I check websites on my phone to read articles, but don't check email or social media).

Thanks for all the interesting links as usual. Wow... I join you and others above in hoping we still get to rapture home soon. I felt compelled the other day to take a break from Judges and skip to the "lesser prophets". I didn't get very far, sadly, but Hosea 5:14-15 and 6:1-2 seemed like they could be about the rapture?

Especially 6:2, saying, "After two days he will revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight." Or maybe I'm stretching. In other places in the Bible, the third day is sognificant. Also, earlier in the book of Hosea there is talk of whores and harlots, which reminded me of Revelation, and of course I have rapture "on the brain" pretty much 24/7.

Regardless, thanks for continuing to encourage us all and share the latest news. I hope your tech issues will be resolved. I can imagine very well what that can be like.

    Blessings,
    Rebekka

    1. You are absolutely correct, Rebekka! I believe that verse in Hosea is talking about the rapture! I've heard pastors mention that too! And the third day equates to the beginning of the 3000 years after Jesus... In other words, 2000 years after His Death and resurrection, since to God a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day. We are already past the 2000 year mark and slowly creeping into the post-2000 years time frame, which is exactly when He returns.. just like the 3 days He was in the grave and then resurrected!
I'm so glad you found me too! I'm concerned so many won't reconnect, but that's in God's hands. So wonderful to hear you are reading your Bible... Not that you weren't , but it just warms my heart to see people diving into God's Word!

    2. Hi MaryLu, Thanks for your note. I'm glad to hear that I wasn't reading too much into Hosea. I've read the New Testament a few times over the past decade or so but never the entire OT, just excerpts and a few of the shorter books like Esther and Ruth. I started in March and wanted to be finished by September, but alas I'm only in Judges.

I was reviewing some of my prior Bible notes last night and I also came across Exodus 19:10-16 that also speaks of sanctifying ourselves and being ready for the third day. We've had a couple of rainy days here, so I can't help think of that as cleansing.

I feel like I'm still such a novice but it's really fun and rewarding to look for these clues. Thanks for all you do to point these out to us and help guide our reading. Wish I'd starting reading the Bible in earnest a lot sooner....

Looking forward to meeting you after the rapture!!! :)

    3. Yes, in Exodus, that entire scene was about a marriage covenant between God and the Jews. Yes, God married Israel... but later divorced her for her infidelity. Jeremiah 3:8. That's not to say God is done with Israel. He savea a remnant at the end. They will always be the apple of His Eye. I love the Old Testament. There is so much symbolism in it and typologies of Jesus! It's not an easy read, but well worth it if you ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. :-) I'm looking forward to meeting you too!

    4. It does get dry at times, which makes it tough, but when I can focus it is very interesting. I have started praying before each reading more consistently to ask for guidance.

I remember reading another part of Genesis (32:29) where the way someone's comment was worded, it struck me as wording like Jesus would use - though it was not in red. I found that quite interesting.

      https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Genesis-32-29/

I was really happy to read Ruth and realize that even though Israel are the chosen people, we Gentiles have been grafted onto the vine literally (from a genealogy point of view) - if I read it correctly - also through Ruth since she is David's grandmother, and isn't Jesus directly descended from David?

It's so perfect the way every piece fits together - and in my mind also leaves no question that the Bible is real.

If you are interested, I also started to read The Fisherman's Tomb, about the search for Peter's grave under the Vatican. It brings new meaning to Matthew 16:18 where Jesus says, "... thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church."

As you have pointed out, the Lord is very particular and specific about what he says. Wow!
