And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 19:24-25
Dear Precious, Mighty Saints!
We live in evil times. There is no doubt. Very evil times. It's becoming harder to even keep up with the news because it can cause me to lose my peace. So I have to balance my time in the news with time spent in the Bible and in the presence of God. When I'm not posting news items here, I try to keep my thoughts on things above as we are instructed. I encourage you to do the same. We should know what's going on but we should not dwell on it. For however much longer we are here, it's vitally important that we spend as much time as we can in the Bible and with the Lord, which is the only way to grow your faith. Faith is something we all are going to need going forward.
Notice in the verse above it says we should stir up good works and exhort each other. What is exhort exactly? I thought it just meant encourage, but I looked it up. It means to urge, advise, or caution earnestly; admonish urgently. to give urgent advice, recommendations, or warnings. Wow. That is exactly what I try to do here each Friday. But the main part of that verse I want you to see is that it says "as you see the DAY approaching". What day? The Day of the Lord? The Tribulation. So, apparently, we can see the Day approaching! I get so tired of people telling me that we will never know the timing of the rapture.. that we should just carry on with our lives as usual. But that's not true. We will know the day, maybe not the specific day or hour, but we will see it approaching. We will know it's soon. And according to this Scripture when we see it approaching we should do the following even more: Stir up good works and exhort each other!
Believe me, I see the day approaching, and I hope you do too. That's why I list the news of the week. So that others can see the Day too and be encouraged and filled with joy and hope!
Now for the Warning part. Check out the the next 2 verses.
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. v 26-27
Willful sin means sins you commit every day on purpose when you know better. Things like Lying, gossiping, cussing, losing your temper, sleeping with someone you're not married too, homosexuality, stealing, cheating, hating someone, drunkeness, pornography, laziness etc. You may slip up with some thing like cussing or losing your temper, for which you should immediately repent, but the others require a thought first and then the action. If you claim to be a Christian and yet still sin purposely every day, I question whether the Holy Spirit lives inside of you.
Regardless, every week more and more things happen that make that Day approaching more clearer than ever. And closer than ever too.
Check out the articles under Financial Collapse this week and you'll see that the Bank of America has a patent for a Digital passport with verified data that will track you and your transactions wherever you go. This is huge. And Panera Bread is implementing a Pay with your Palm system. In addition JP Morgan will pilot a biometric based payment system for merchants. People this is here and I expect during this summer, the dollar will collapse and they will implement Digital Currency. Once that happens, we lose our freedom. Not only that but it will then be possible for the Mark of the Beast to make its appearance.
World War is coming. Every week we get closer and closer. Russia has stopped all nuclear communications with the US while it moves 300 Nuclear missiles. China's president urges his people to prepare for war. North Korea keeps firing missiles while a US base in Syria was attacked. See articles below.
Israel is in turmoil. I'm sure you saw the massive protests against Netanyahu for his proposed judicial reform. He has since backed down, but the protests continue. Now, the conservative Jews are up in arms. Things are crazy over there at the worst possible time, when Iran has a nuke and they are surrounded by their enemies. The US Embassy has urged Americans to leave Israel at once. Passover starts this week and the Arabs are threatening to storm the temple mount, while Jewish settlers called on to take animals to sacrifice at the Al-Aqsa Mosque Keep your eyes on Israel, The True Jewish people are still the apple of God's eye. From the looks of things, God is about to get us out of here and then divert His attention to His people in Israel.
Then we have the horrific murder of 6 people in a private Christian school in Nashville. It would appear from the reports that the killer was a trans who hated Christians. I have heard prophecies state that Christians persecution in this country will become much worse. And here we are. Oddly enough in the aftermath, it's the trans who are angry. It's the trans who are threatening more violence. Now they are hosting a Trans Day of Vengence in DC this weekend. For the life of me, I can't figure out why. I haven't heard of anyone purposing targeting and killing Transgenders. Even the Media has gone crazy reporting on this event as if it were not the fault of the shooter.
This is where the persecution will come from. The Trans community. They will hate Christians because of our stance against their lifestyle. And society has conditioned them to come after us. Trans ANTI-Christian Video game released months before Nashville attack (This is a highly disturbing game in which the shooter kills Christians and priests.)
Thank God, I live under the shadow of His Mighty Wings. I am not afraid for my God is with me wherever I go!
Add to the chaos, more pestilences on the way. And far more deadly as was predicted. See below.
So, just like Jesus said, we have war, pestilence, famine, immorality, evil, hate, persecution, signs in the sky, and false prophets. (which I will address Monday) How any one with even a remote understanding of Scripture could not see how close we are to the end is beyond me. Yet so many have their head in the sand. Their idols, their love is of the things of this world and they don't want that to end. That's why our Lord, in His great mercy and love will have to strip them of all of their idols so they will bow their knees before Him. In all honesty, He's been doing that to me personally lately, stripping away everything I relied on for my purpose and joy, until I am left with only Him. And I'm finding He is more than enough! So, let go of this world and the things of this world, and keep your eyes on Jesus! It can't be long now.

DeleteThis week at school has been scary. I'm a special ed teacher at a Christian school. Horrible people made calls this week about active shooters in many schools, causing chaos and my own school to go into lockdown. They turned out to be hoaxes, but I know it's part of the plan to catch us off guard. Other schools around the country also had calls made. This pulls all the state's resources to certain schools, leaving others unprotected. "Look over here, so you you don't see the real threat over there." I need to secure my classroom more. But I'm glad to be in a place that prays.
ReplyDeleteHow cruel that people used this tragedy to cause fear in other schools! I'm so sorry, Katy. My grandkids attend a Christian school and apparently they are now targets of the Trans community.. I always remember that Scripture says that Angels watch over the Little Children. :-)

THAT"S THE GREAT NEWS! And it's what Paul lived by and the early church. And the only way we can live with peace today.
I do read the news daily and pray over it and do spiritual warfare. But I do not then dwell on it, fret over it, talk about it to everyone and raise up their fear or depression. That would undo all my prayers that I pray in faith based on scriptures. We can't pray one thing in faith, then speak something else.
Real faith, according to Rom. 4:17 is calling those things that be not as those they be. Faith is also the "evidence" of things hoped for. We have to keep our hopes up. I'm hoping and have the faith of God that He is working mightily in America and on our leaders, godly and ungodly, in our courts, in our banking system and in the hearts of our people, and I boldly declare over the WHO mess, over our banking system fear, over all the liberal mess the liberals are pushing, that "Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors, and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loves us." Rom.8:37

Elva, As I said in my post, I do keep my eyes and thoughts on Jesus and the things above most of the time. However we are to be wise as serpents and we need to know what's going on around us. Jesus rebuked the people of His day for not realizing the hour of His visitation and not seeing the signs! I rarely lose my peace and if I do, I spend more time with Jesus in prayer. He has called me to be a watchman, and that is what I do. Honestly, I'd rather not do it. I'd rather post about my books and romance and puppies and grandkids, but it is what it is. This is where the Lord has led me, so I walk in obedience.

You said to keep our hopes up about America. My hope is not in America, nor in any politician or any country or leader. That's the kind of hope that will lead many Christian to fall for the Antichrist when he appears. My hope is only in Jesus! He never said we would be more than conquerors over our nation's politics! In context that verse in Romans 8 is talking about our great salvation and God's love for us.
It's Biblical to pray for our leaders, yes, but make sure your "faith" that God is going to bless America is according to His will. America has not repented. God could care less about nations and leaders or politics. His Kingdom is NOT of this world. His one and only concern is the salvation of the Lost and that does not come through any country or leader, but through the witnessing of those who love Him and follow Him with all our hearts.
You know I consider you a friend and a Godly woman, but please, please, seek the Lord on this issue of America and the church taking over the world for Christ. Seek His will and His way. Blessings!
So very, very grateful that the Lord has called you to be a watchman. I agree that focusing on our "leaders", who are mostly satanic, is horribly misguided. And placing hope in the country equally misquided. We are not of this world. This is not our home. The person who posted -- Elva Cobb, is it? -- is really off base. The leaders -- controllers -- and this country -- are way past our prayers.

ReplyDeleteI just stopped at a friends house who I havent seen for a few months. He is my best friend on this planet, and I love him like a brother. He has been devoted to the Lord for over 50 years. He and his lovely wife are an example of godly living for married couple. As we talked for a while, and laughed a bit, and then he asked " did you see what they are trying to do to Trump" ? I just put my head down, and he said, I know you dont like him ! and we went on to a different subject. He has some about the Rapture to. As I was leaving, I felt a little sad, that his roots are so seated in his life here. And he really does have a wonderful life here. He doesnt want to give it up. And has been in the same church his whole life which exhorts people to pray for their presidents and country, which of course we all do. But the reason is Titus 2: 11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people. 12 It trains us to renounce ungodly living and worldly passions so that we might live sensible, honest, and godly lives in the present age 13 as we wait for the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior, Jesus the Messiah.
This is the glorious thing, the good the kind the peaceful !
No or president or country, not even the church can save us. We have but One to put our hopes, the King of Kings and Sovereign Lord over all Jesus Christ is He !
Loved the explanation of exhort ! I've been in a church where they had a set way to pray and prophecy only their preset message of love. Which is ok, as long as we realize that God disciplines those He love and chastises all He accepts as sons !
I had to step down from that ministry because I would not speak mans word over someone, in place of God's truth ! I'll just stand on that !!! Let God be true and every man a liar !

i am finding much the same, Joe. People, good friends, who I respected and thought were very very Godly seem to have no clue about what's really going on in the world. No clue about end times and no clue that our current political situation is all smoke and mirrors, two sides of the same coin and that our government has been taken over by Luciferians. So many have put their hope in politics. But like you said.. in most cases, it's because they love this world and the things of this world. Blessings!
