The Seed and Sower Matthew 13
The Wheat and the Tares Matthew 13
The Growing Seed Mark 4
The Mustard Seed Matthew 13
The Pearl of Great Price Matthew 13
The Wicked Tenants Matthew 21
The Barren Fig Tree Luke 13
The word "FirstFruits" is mentioned 38 times in the Bible
The word "Harvest" is mentioned 53 Times
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Matthew 9:37
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. Matthew 13:39
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. John 4:35
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. Revelation 14:15
Paull also connected the rapture with a harvest in 1 Corinthians 15
And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. verses 37-38
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. verses 42-44
So, I think I've pretty much proven that the Bible connects the Rapture with a harvest of the Earth.
Now we turn to Israel and the Harvest appointments and feasts. What I'm trying to prove to you is that the rapture(s) will occur during these harvest times.
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty: Deuteronomy 16:16
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is the 7 day feast following Passover. Jesus rose from the dead on day 3. Along with Him, many dead saints also rose. This is the Barley Harvest.
Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. Matthew 27:51-53
Jesus is the FirstFruit of the Barley Harvest. The firstfruit is barley that ripens first. The other saints who rose at the same time are either also firstfruits or they comprise the bulk of the Barley harvest
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 1 Corinthians 15:20
But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. v. 23
The Feast of Weeks is what we call Pentecost or Shavuot. It is the same day in history when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the 10 commandments. If you read the text carefully, a covenant was made between God and the Jewish people that day. A marriage covenant. Which they later broke.
During this time the wheat is harvested. So because Jesus fulfilled the Firstfruit Barley harvest/rapture during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, AND as you'll see below the Fall Fruit harvest occurs at Tabernacles, we can assume that the Rapture of the Church will occur on the only feast/harvest day left of the three special feast days in which God's people were to assemble. And that's Pentecost.
The Feast of Tabernacles occurs in the Fall. This is the harvest of the fruit. It occurs at the end of the Tribulation during the Feast of Tabernacles and is described in Revelation 14. Most of this harvest will be put in the great winepress of God's wrath, unfortunately.
Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. v 14-16
These are the THREE Harvests/Raptures.
Now, let's examine a few more Scriptures that point to a Spring/Summer Wedding.
RUTH
The Entire Book of Ruth is a story of a Jewish Kingsman Redeemer marrying a Gentile woman (sound familiar?). it's a beautiful story and I encourage you to read the entire short book. The part that pertains to the timing of the rapture and how it's linked to a spring/summer harvest is found in this Scripture:
So she stayed close by the young women of Boaz, to glean until the end of barley harvest and wheat harvest; and she dwelt with her mother-in-law. Ruth 2:23
Then Ruth and Boaz got married.
Song of Solomon
The entire book is a love story between a Jewish King and a Gentile woman. (are we seeing a pattern here?)
“Rise up, my love, my fair one,
And come away.
For lo, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove
heard in our land.
The fig tree puts forth her green figs,
And the vines with the tender grapes
Give a good smell.
Rise up, my love, my fair one,
And come away! Song of Solomon 2:10-13
To see the green plants of the valley,
To see whether the vine budded,
And the pomegranates were in flower.
Before I was aware, my soul set me
Among the chariots of my princely people. Song of Solomon 6:11-12
- The Rapture is connected to Harvest time
- There are 3 main Harvests where all of God's people were to assemble in Jerusalem. (Like we will assemble in the Heavenly Jerusalem)
- Jesus fulfilled the first Harvest Meeting time during the Feast of Unleavened Bread
- There are two more Harvest Meeting times: Pentecost and Feast of Tabernacles
- The Feast of Tabernacles is the Final Fruit Harvest which consists mainly of the wicked'
- The Rapture of the Church, according to Scripture, should occur around Pentecost which occurs in the Spring just before Summer
- Scriptures from Ruth, Song of Solomon, and Micah confirm that a marriage/rapture takes place in Spring/Early Summer
Hi MaryLu, interesting that you should post on Song of Solomon and Ruth this morning. Last night Brother Chooch TOL and Tyler2434 (from Matt. 24:34) did a video on this very topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EE0nhCfqHP4. I don't know if you are familiar with the late wheat/new wine theory time frame (late July/August, put forth by Lu Vega, postscripts.org, and Tyler 2434) that realizes there is actually a double 50 day count putting the Acts 2 Pentecost at New Wine. Regardless, if 2025 is, finally, the year, surely we are close to going Home! Blessings, sister. Maranaatha!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I sometimes watch those guys.. they are fun to watch and interesting! And yes, I've heard about the late wheat wine timeframe. I think Dr. Awe talks about that. I hope they are wrong. I'd rather not wait another 50 days! LOL But it is this year! So exciting! Blessings to you, Judi!
DeleteHello Holy Messenger of God,
ReplyDeleteGreat post with well-supported and insightful Scripture content, especially from various books in the Bible. It is so interesting that the Books of Ruth, Micah, and Songs of Solomon would pinpoint the Spring/Summer as a potential Rapture time due to major Harvests.
Pentecost is like 7 weeks after Easter/Resurrection perspective, or if it more like 50 days, doesn’t 50 represent “return” with glory in the Bible, especially since a Jubilee starts every 50 years? Also, I read in an article that 120 is another important number, especially in Genesis, where God gave 120 years for repentance prior to the Flood; the Ark sat on Mount Ararat for 120 days; Moses lived to be 120, and 120 disciples received the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. It is also thought there may be a 120 day time gap between the Rapture and the Tribulation, but I feel like the hysteria and chaos resulting from the disappearance of millions can result in great destruction during the four-month period before the Tribulation even starts if this is true - what are your thoughts on this?
Per the commenter above, I have seen something where the date July 23 was suggested based on the late wheat/new wine theory. If this summer comes to pass, then would only Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur be the time when the Rapture will take place? Based on one of your prior posts, we cannot imagine going on for another year. I may not want to imagine what the world will be like a year from now in view of how fast evil is accelerating and how boldly adamant people are in maintaining that everything right now is completely normal.
I recently saw a GIF image of the Rapture where people are standing under a blue ray of light and looking up at the beam while being completely still for several seconds, and then slowly levitating into the air and vanishing into the clouds. Moreover, it appeared to be visible to all those around them. I do not know if this is an accurate depiction since Scripture hints that it will be quick “in the twinkling of an eye” but I do not think there was mentioning about it being completely witnessed by those who remain. Would this be true?
I read a couple news sources about the president doing “an amazing job” despite having a big fall in approval rating, and also how US citizens may even be subjected to deportation without legal cause. What else do people need to wake up and see how evil is taking over and fast?
Blessings Sister and come quickly Lord Jesus!
Yes, numbers are very important to God. Every letter of the Hebrew alphabet is a number too! There's enormous significance to certain numbers. 3, 7, 9 11, and like you said 50, also 40, 120, 153... I could go on. I have no idea the time span between the rapture and the start of the Tribulation... I've heard 6 months, but who knows? But like you said, after we leave, there will be so much chaos!
DeleteI'm not of the opinion that Rosh Hashana is the time for the rapture of the Bride, but more for the last rapture at the end of the Tribulation. But I could be wrong, so if we find ourselves here after summer, it is a good possibility. My only problem with it, is we are not the fruit harvest, but rather the wheat or barley.
We only know that when we hear that Trumpet call, it will take less than a second for us to be transformed and find ourselves up in the clouds with Jesus! Whether or not people will witness it here, I have no idea.. but I actually pray they do so that they would know what happened and repent and turn to Jesus!
The Lord is giving us so many signs.... and yet, most of the church is asleep. Sad.
Blessings!
Greetings, this is a well-written post about Pentecost having many associated signs as supported by the Biblical books you mentioned. Hopefully it is true that Pentecost would finally be the long-awaited date considering how fast evil is consuming the world.
ReplyDeleteRegarding your post about the Feast of Tabernacles, is this in reference to Sukkot after Yom Kippur? Since it said “mainly of the wicked,” is this referring to those who survive the Tribulation and still refuse to repent but still blaspheme God? I would like some clarification since this may be referring to the end of the Tribulation when we will be returning with Christ for the Millennium Reign.
When the Tribulation ends, is there a time gap between the end and the start of the Millennium Reign? I do not know if it is possible to know since no one may know the exact time gap between the Rapture and Tribulation.
There is something I have been wondering about regarding the Seals: are the final two seals broken near the end of the first 3.5 years of the Tribulation? The seventh Seal was said to bring about the Trumpets and when the Heavenly residents acknowledge how bad the Trumpet judgments will be compared with the Seal judgments, there was “silence in Heaven for about half an hour” (Revelation 8:1). If this is true, does it mean the Trumpets and Bowls primarily take place during the second 3.5 years? It may make sense considering this is when AC is in complete control and the MOB is being forced on everyone and God would use the judgments to get people’s attention one more time, which we know that the majority still would not repent based on Scripture.
Feast of Tabernacles is Sukkot and falls after Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Revelation 14:14-20 gives a pretty good description of this Harvest. First Jesus harvests any Tribulation Saints still alive and raises those who died in Him. Then an angel reaps the rest who are the people who took the MOB and worshipped the AC. They are tossed into the winepress of God's wrath. Those people who didn't receive the MOB but who didn't trust in Jesus for their salvation but who are STILL alive, remain to live out their lives during the Millennial reign. That's my understanding.
DeleteYes, I believe there will be a time period between when Jesus returns and the start of the 1000 year reign because there will be much to do to set up His Kingdom across the Earth. But that is an opinion. Scripture doesn't tell us one way or the other.
Yes, I believe the Trumpets (most of them) take place in the final 3.5 years of the Tribulation and the Bowls take place during the Days of Awe, between Yom Kippur and Sukkot. This is God's final outpouring of wrath to get people to turn to Him. Regarding the Seals, it is my opinion that the final 2 seas are broken toward the end of the Tribulation. Mainly because Seal 6 connects with many other Scriptures that point to the very end. But no one really knows how all this will play out. The Good thing is, we can be watching from Heaven!
Greetings Watchwoman to the King,
ReplyDeleteGreat presntation Sister. Really puts thing into perspective. Great comments too.
I'm a gardener, and have always felt Spring is a blessed season of renewal, all things made new. Life sprouting up everywhere.
Interesting about the fig tree. I have a newspaper article form the 50's about my Grandfather.
It say's; We just want to reasure the people of California after the devastating loss of their fig crops this year, that up here in north, in the tiny state of Massachusetts, Dominic Schiavone is having a bumper crop of figs this year. And will be glad to send Cal some of his figs.
Now figs were not none to be successful up here in the colder climate. But with ingenuity Gampa would dig the fig tree's up at end of season, wrap them in canvas, and burry them underground to survive the cold winter. In Sping he would dig them up ( up out of the grave) and replant them. :)
Good catch in Matt 13; harvest is the end of world. !
Interesting that Pentecost and Moses brining down the tablets of 10 commandments line up. Because you mention the marriage covenant being broken, and the tablets were also broken !
Wow Micah ! No clusters of the sweet fruit left, no one left to preach the sweet fruit of the Gospel !
and brother hunts brother, sounds a bit like the Christain world right now.
Love the Song of Solomon. I live high on a hill here in Spence Ma., 27 years now. My bedroom is in the back of the house, where there are many tree's and my gardens. Early spring, I have always loved the sounds of the turtledoves' cooing right outside my windows at 3am, waking me to a new day and prayer.I had to chuckle at Sol 6, "I went down into the garden of nut's". This is definite proof we are at the fringe of the Rapture, because the church is full of nuts !
Speaking of,I went Youtube to watch a teaching, and there are certainly a lot of nuts there to . But one the stuck out was " They've been lying to you about the Rapture " !!! Keep an eye out, because this is the lates link in the great deception coming upon the whole earth. They've been trying to get rid of words like, repentance, wrath, fear etc. They dont believe in the millenial, or now the rapture. They want the book of Revelation removed ! Oh brother, whats next. These are Christaians trying to destroy what supposed to be our source of Truth, the Bible !
Love the theme of " Meeting Time" pertaining to the feasts. It just dawned on me, when we are all gatherd together to meet the Lord in the air, we, who have longed for His coming will also be meeting one another. Wont that be a joy. :) Lol, was just thinking; Oh look, there's MaryLu over there, and look, there's anonymous over there :)
Matthew 24:40-45 American Standard Version (ASV)
Then shall two men be in the field; one is taken, and one is left: two women shall be grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left. Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.
I believe the world will see us being Raptured.
And my grape vine just started budding this week :)
Blessings Sister for putting this info together in a very understandable way. May The Lord of Golry bless your diligent work, in Jesus name.
Great comment, Joe! Thanks! One of our fellow watchers, Cap't Bob (retired commercial pilot and our joking pilot of flight 777) over at r12daily.blogspot.com, raises figs in northern California and chimes in frequently about them--offering to share on our flight up, BTW. While, like all of us fellow watchers, I want to go NOW, I have pretty much landed on the late wheat/new wine timeframe first presented by Lu Vega. There is soooo much good typology to go with many of the feast/seasons, but in the back of my mind is always the "I am coming at a time you know not" statement by Jesus, and I think He will surprise us in some way. Nevertheless I love that we are watchiing/wondering/speculating about high watch days. I think He is please, don't you? I can't just imagine Him with a look of delight as we try to sort it all out. The signs on every front, from geopolitical, moral decadence, astronomical, technological, deception, transhumanism, false teachings (NAR, e.g.) et al, are screaming from the heavens. Technology alone, as JD Farag observes, tells us that we can't be here much longer before we outpace the technology of Rev 13. The reality is the Beast tech is already here and in place. They are just waiting to implement it broadly.
DeleteI'm not one to get dreams/visions, but this morning in the last hour before getting up and trying to sleep longer, I kept seeing the smoke above the Vatican (while the Pope selection enclave is meeting), both white and gray. The enclave begins to meet May 7th I read. I have no idea why as I am not and never have been Catholic, so the Pope, other than prophetically, has never been of particular interest to me. Perhaps this final selection is more significant than we even know?
Blessings, everyone.
Sorry for the typos: "can't "should be "can just imagine Him with a look of delight!"
DeleteI remembered you and your Gampa were farmers. That's so interesting about the figs! And your grape vine budding! Praise God! Yeah.. there's a TON of deception out there.. and esp on You Tube. I'm very careful what/who I watch. I would say most of Christiandom do not believe in the rapture or a literal millennial reign. I even heard a pastor say that the rapture is the most dangerous doctrine out there. Wow. Anyway, we need the Holy Spirit daily to give us discernment and wisdom! Blessings!
DeleteJudi, what is the timing of the late wheat/New wine? Just curious. And yes, I believe the Lord is very pleased to see His Bride watching and waiting and speculating when He might arrive. It shows our love and yearning for Him! Very interesting about your dream of the smoke above the vatican. Some believe this next pope will be the False prophet. We pray and wait! Blessings!
