Controversial subject here, but one the Lord led me to post on because time is so short. Many Christians, pastors included, will tell you that everyone who professes to be a Christian and who believes in Jesus as their Lord and Savior will meet Jesus in the clouds at the Trumpet Blast.
As lovely and encouraging as that would be, Scripture begs to differ. I encourage you to read the following verses and take them to heart. I'm not trying to instill any doubt or fear that you may or may not be going. But my goal is that you would make sure you are! I cannot imagine a more devastating thing than finding yourself here after the rapture.
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:10-11
What hour is Jesus talking about? One that will come upon the Entire World! Tribulation. Notice there's a requirement for being kept out of the Tribulation. To keep His Word patiently. How do you keep His Word? By walking in a relationship with Him and out of that springs obedience.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:22-23
Notice here, Jesus is talking to people who are Christians or think they are. He doesn't care if you have a head belief in Him or even that you've done many great things for Him. He only cares that you and He have a close relationship. Make sure you do!
I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Revelation 3:15-16
Not exactly a lovely prospect, to be spewed from the mouth of Jesus. Are you sensing he doesn't care for lukewarm believers? And yes, He is talking to believers here!
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:35-36
Jesus tells us to pray that we would be worthy to escape the Tribulation. Why would He even bother saying that if everyone who is a Christian goes? Again, He is talking to believers here. Obviously, there are some worthy of leaving while there are others who won't make it.
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:9-13
Again, in this parable, the foolish virgins ran out of oil. Oil symbolizes the Holy Spirit and their lack of it shows a lack of watching for Jesus and preparing for His return. Otherwise, they would have kept their oil lamps full. Again, we see Jesus saying He doesn't know them, just like in the Matthew 7 passage above. Obviously, these were believers!
Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:7-11
Don't you find it odd that even the Apostle Paul thought there might be a slight chance he wouldn't make the resurrection of the dead? (rapture) If he was concerned, perhaps we should be too
But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Ephesians 5:5-8
I don't think this can be more clear. If you habitually practice these types of sins (regardless of your belief in Jesus), you will have to endure the wrath of God and you will not have any inheritance in the Kingdom of God. It's wrapped up in what the Apostle John says that if we love God, we will obey Him. But isn't this a works-based salvation? No. As you will see in the final passage below, if we love God and Walk in the Spirit, we will not be doing these evil things anyway.
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16-25
Again, I'm not trying to freak anyone out at all. But I would not be doing my job if I didn't point out that going in the rapture is a reward for having a close relationship with Jesus and walking in His Spirit of obedience to His Word. Does it mean those believers left behind aren't saved? No, I don't think so. It only means they must endure some difficult times to prove their faith.
It's all about a close relationship with the Lord and in that relationship you come to love Him and because of that love, you want to obey Him. Yes, we sin, but we do not purposely and habitually sin. If we do, then we have no relationship with Jesus. We must walk in the Spirit, live in repentance, and hang out with our Savior everyday. That doesn't mean we are perfect. It doesn't mean there aren't some sins we still struggle with. But it means we are repenting, asking for the Lord's help, and maintaining our relationship with Him.
Make sure you're good with Jesus. If you aren't sure, it only takes a minute to find a quiet place and start talking to Him, repent, and ask Him to save you and help you live for Him. He loves that kind of prayer!
See you in the clouds!
Hello Sister in Christ,
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st day of September and Labor Day! One of the first things, actually questions more like, that came to my mind is, could this really be the final month we true Believers have in this world before we go home (the Rapture)? And what do you know, the subject today is “Are you going in the Rapture.” A day has not gone by when I have not found myself looking up at the sky a number of times and praying to the Lord at night, and I am still counting down the days up to Rosh Hashanah. I could only hope it really is the appointed time, for I have a hunch feeling that the next major disaster or demonic force could strike at any time and I do not want us to be around to keep witnessing how they are becoming every time.
I know I may sound overly determined in believing that we are going home very soon, for I am literally tired of seeing all the wickedness and of course, knowing how worse the world is becoming in terms of evil and how majority of people boldly refuse to understand or even try to comprehend why such evil is really happening. Of course, it is still all in the Lord’s timing and I will continue to wait for I respect His Will.
Yes regarding the lukewarm, I can remember very well those back in the school days who claim and act like Christians, but they have treated me with what I now know as false kindness based on how they never appreciated my true kindness, and while I may have unknowingly acted weird or accidentally offended them because I am not too familiar with the aspects of social life due to inexperience, would the Lord view this with disappointment? I can partially say from a testimonial perspective that I would never offend anyone for my amusement, and even if I did, I would confess it to the Lord and forgive those people as they would proceed to treat me as described above. Sometimes I still pray to the Lord that while I have no real friends in this life, I keep stating that I remember He has promised much better in Heaven, so I am forgetting everything in this life and faith will guide me to that time; therefore, I can go about with complete reassurance from the Lord that loneliness will soon need forever for me. Is this a touching story?
I have wondered, since Thessalonians 1 4:15-17 stated that “The Lord will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet blown, and the dead in Christ shall rise first followed by those who are still alive and remain to meet the Lord in the clouds,” would we actually hear the shout and trumpet blast, for those who will be leaving? Or could it be that we will just be going about our lives, and the next thing we know is that we see ourselves in the clouds in our glorified bodies and the Lord Himself? I guess this is a mystery that we will only know when it actually happens.
Have a great day Sister and keep looking up! I will continue this routine every day leading up to Rosh Hashanah and even if it passes, I know I should continue doing so for as you have mentioned a number of times, God’s timing is perfect and He never fails on His promises. Peace and Blessings from a Brother in Christ.
Brother, you are not alone. Most of us who are watching for the Lord's return are most excited and anxious to see Him and be gone from this world. I do believe we are leaving soon, so hang in there. Whatever evil we see before we are called home, the Lord has promised to protect us, so don't live in fear.
DeleteThe Lord is not disappointed with you or any of your past behavior. He has forgiven all your sins and loves you with an immeasurable love. And you do have friends in this world. You just haven't met them in person yet!
It is my personal opinion that we will actually hear the Trumpet blast and then within a split second we will be gone. I've also heard some pastors say that Jesus will call each of us by name to come up here!
Blessings to you, Brother!
Greetings Holy Messenger of God,
ReplyDeleteWith today being the first day of September, I bet many of us true Believers around the world are eagerly anticipating the Rapture per the hype of Rosh Hashanah from the recent videos and interviews in past posts.
I recently read that even if the prophesied Daniel Covenant really is the peace treaty that will be presented at the UN Conference on 9/23/25, chances of it being officially signed is sure to fail unless the Rapture happens. It explained that as long as Israel and the US oppose the deal, which is likely caused by the influence of us the Restrainer still present on Earth, there is almost no chance of the covenant being successful. I guess the point is that contrary to the popular belief that the Rapture is highly likely to occur on one of the two Rosh Hashanah dates, it could even be anytime before then. Additionally, it was also noted that the Tribulation could happen immediately post-Rapture without a time gap, for the UN assembly will “gather to do something that will restore some stability in the world,” and the peace treaty would likely be brought up again and with opposition far reduced due to the disappearance of the Restrainer, Israel will have no choice but to accept the deal for the sake of security. It is also said that the Gog-Magog War may likely happen post-Rapture due to this extreme weakening as well. Do you think this is a very plausible scenario?
I was socializing with people recently but now I feel somewhat regretful because I made a promise to the Lord: “Since people never cared about me in the past, what makes me convinced they would do so now, especially with the world in this current state? I remember God’s promise that in Heaven, I can talk to anyone I want, anytime I want, however long I want without feeling judged, resented, disrespected, or hated - the point is, do not keep longing to interact with people in life, for I should know by heart now per Scripture, signs from the Lord, and personal experience what people will become during the Tribulation, and I do not want to foolishly get mixed with those people especially with our returning home being very soon.” I guess I am being very mindful now even though I still want to love people, but I want to ensure that anything I do now is approving to God without making Him feel that I am still appreciating worldly matters. Is this true Sister?
A news flash earlier last weekend said that “AI is unmasking ICE agents. What can Washington do now?” This makes it instantly just tragic how those who signed up for the Devil’s work suddenly realize they were primarily just used to carry out his works and still face betrayal as a “reward” for their usefulness. Doesn’t this make us want to mourn at how people just could not grasp the fact that the Devil only seeks to use and destroy and any promises of rewards are plain lies?
I just read a news report this morning that China is hosting a forum of foreign leaders to “counteract the influence of the West and policies of Trump.” Could this be another pivotal event prior to the ultimate meeting that will bring about the Daniel Covenant? I have read speculation that while Russia is likely Gog, could China be Magog considering that Russia is above China, think “Kings of the North and South” in the Book of Revelation? Also note that there have been many pictures of Xi and Putin, more than any other world leader. This is mainly speculation, but as a watch person, these trends should not be fully ignored, right?
Have a great week Sister and see you soon in the clouds, if the Rapture really is to be sometime this month, as we can only hope but also watch and wait.
Regarding the timing, anything is possible! The Gog-Magog war could be before or after the rapture. We don't know. We do know that the Daniel Covenant cannot be physically signed by the AC until we are gone. So, no, we may not have to wait until FOT. Just keep looking up!
DeleteRegarding who you socialize with, let the Holy Spirit guide you. If these people are worldly and not following Jesus, I'd stay away. Otherwise, perhaps the Lord can use you to bless them. But be cautious. These are perilous times. If you follow the Holy Spirit , you will be pleasing to God.
Yes, Russia, China and a host of other countries are forming an alliance without the West. They are tired of the USA bullying the world, and I don't blame them. How does this link to prophecy? We can only guess, but I did see something about 10 major countries being a part of this new alliance and that follows the 10 Kings in Revelation. China is most likely the Kings of the East mentioned also in Revelation.
Either way we keep oil in our lamps and watch. Exciting times!
Blessings!
Greetings Beloved of the Most High,
ReplyDeleteSo a question came to my mind this week, I had not really thought about until the statement was made to me; I am filled with the Holy Spirit who keeps me from being deceived ? Seems as though Matt 7 answers as a, no! It was like a gong going off. And the answer hurts because I know this person to love Jesus, yet they are following the false preachers of this end times age. And they follow a lot of them. Not a one I would listen to.
I studied this a bit, and I did hear one commenter say; a spirit filled person can be deceived for a time, but not to the point of losing their salvation. Refering to the latter script in the post, most of these people I'm talking about are not drunkerds or fornicators or idolaters. And they pray daily, read their Bibles, and praise God's name. But that brought another question; could that mean they will have to endure the trial of the tribulation to prove their faith genuine ?
Quite frankly, I see a vast majority in this catagory :(
Maybe I'm to quick to judge, knowing what I now know about these false teachers. Can a person who believes in Jesus as Lord and Savior continue in their salvation yet follow people who believe, and teach blasphemy ?
Some happier thoughts as I was studying 2 Peter 3 today. Peter talks about how the heavens and earth will be totally detroyed, and describes it in great detail.
2 Peter 3:10-12
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [[a]material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.
11 Since all these things are thus [b]in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities,
12 While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the [[c]material] elements [of the universe] will flare and melt with fire?
Isaiah comments on this same subject about the destruction of heaven and earth. And then he makes an astuonding word; Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to mind.
* note the word "create" in the Hebrew is "Bara". It means In Hebrew, the word bara (בָּרָא) primarily means "to create" or "to shape," but its usage is distinctive because it is almost exclusively used to describe actions performed by God. The verb carries a divine nuance, implying a unique creative power that humans do not possess.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. * "created" same word as in Isa who is refering to the "NEW Heaven and a New Earth".
Rev 20 talks about the great White Throne judgement, which occurs at the end of the millenium. The Saints are watching this and judging as well.
Rev 21:5 Behold I make all things new. * like language to Isaiah 65.
The point, from Joe Fotch, commentor, of all of this is that "we" the saints will be with God at this time. We will get to see Him create a whole New Heaven and Earth. It will be as it was in Gen 1:1. We'll see Him calling things into being. Seperating the sky from the water, land from the sea, creating animals, and setting us down on clean purified ground that does not decay or perish. No more will Nation rise against nation, no more sickness or death. Just love and evotion to God and to one another.
Christs peace.
Hi Dear Brother Joe!
DeleteGood questions. I think we only walk in the truth in as much as we allow the Holy Spirit to navigate the mine fields for us. In other words, there may be many with the Holy Spirit inside of them who are saved, but do they walk in the Spirit and not in the Flesh? I think we all sometimes oscillate back and forth between the two, until hopefully we are more in the Spirit most of the time. So, are the people to whom you are referring going in the rapture? Only the Lord knows. We do know He is very merciful and overlooks much of our stupidity! I guess it depends on what false doctrines they are clinging to. Another Jesus?
I love your commentary and verses on the New Creation! What a time that will be! Being there witnessing God's wonderful creative power. What a grand future awaits us!! Blessings
I sense that this is going to be a very fascinating month, considering we have a Blood Super moon coming next weekend and likely updates on the UN Conference in a few weeks.
ReplyDeletePer your response to the first commenter regarding friends, isn’t it kind of pointless now considering that arrogance, narcissism, and judgment are totally normalized? In other words, it would kind of futile to try to find friends only to result in the same sheer disappointment like before.
I always believed that those who are meant to be your friends, God will make a way to bring them to your life, and you would not have to go begging or searching desperately for them. Regardless, it would definitely more preferable to have zero real friends in this temporary life and have countless loving Brothers and Sisters in Heaven forever, wouldn’t it? I guess the point is, it is not a requirement to have friends in this life or life would be meaningless and purposeless, right?
I am sure people have written Left Behind letters to let their loved ones who still remain on Earth post-Rapture to know what really happened. Would God divinely guide them to the letters if the Raptured saints did not have a chance to put them somewhere supposedly noticeable because the Rapture took them away? What about if people grew hysterical to the point where they turn insane or even do the unthinkable, therefore not even taking the chance to come across the letters?
During the Feast of the Bride after the Rapture, would it be like just one ceremony and once it is finished, the Tribulation on Earth would have passed and we would return with Jesus for the Millennium Reign? I know that there is no time in Heaven, but I believe when we return to Earth for the Millennium Reign, time will pass as normal again, right?
Out of curiosity, during the Millennium Reign, will there always be daylight and no evenings ever again? We may not even need to sleep as we usually do but maybe just take occasional naps?
I feel that in the coming weeks, we should pay special attention to any updates pertaining to the UN Conference as in whether the proposed treaty really is the Daniel Covenant. I do not know if there will be a postponement, like the Conference was rescheduled earlier in the summer due to Israel striking Iran. I agree that the Rapture could also possibly take place prior to Rosh Hashanah but it again depends on any updates regarding the meeting’s agenda, particularly the peace treaty.
Come Quickly Lord Jesus and Maranatha!
Yes, I wasn't encouraging the commenter to go out and seek friends or beg for them. However, if there's someone the Lord puts in your path or encourages you to talk to, perhaps it's because you can witness to them and maybe help get them saved? We should always be about our Father's business! Honestly, I'd rather have Jesus and no friends than a ton of friends and no Jesus. Having many friends or no friends at all has absolutely no relevance on you, your personality, or your value.
DeleteRegarding Left Behind letters. Just put them out somewhere you think your loved ones might look. That's what I'm doing. Then leave the rest in God's hands.
Having never been to heaven, I have no idea what the passage of time feels like. So, other than the Bema seat of judgement where we get our rewards and the marriage and celebration of the lamb, I have no idea what we will be doing. But yes, it is my understanding that when we return to Earth, time will pass as we know it now.
Also I have no idea whether our Glorified bodies will need sleep or not.?? that's a good question. As far as day and night, I imagine they will still exist.
Yes, we should definitely keep our eyes on this upcoming UN Meeting and any developments for a peace Treaty with Israel. Particularly one that involves allowing them to rebuild their temple.
Other than that, stay close to Jesus!
