And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:1-3
These are Jesus's own words! I was feeling a little down the other day and when I opened my Bible to do my daily reading, this was it.
The Lord prompted me to look up "come" as in "I will come again" and "receive"
"I will come" is the Greek Word erchomai , which means to come from one place to another, and used both of persons arriving and of those returning; to appear, make one's appearance, come before the public
"Receive" is the Greek Word paralambanō, which means to take to, to take with one's self, to join to one's self as an associate, a companion
Interestingly enough this is the exact same word used in Matthew 24:40-41 for the phrase "will be taken"
Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
What I'm trying to say here is that in these first 3 verses of John 14, Jesus is telling us that He is gong to Heaven to prepare our homes and then He's going to "come again" (or come down here where we are and make an appearance) and then receive us (take us as friends and companions) back to where He is (In heaven) so that we can be with Him!
Jesus is describing the rapture here! It can't be the Second Coming because Jesus takes us back to Heaven. And He's telling us to not be worried, troubled, or concerned. This IS GOING TO HAPPEN, and He will come to get us. So be of good courage and watch and wait. He's coming!

ReplyDeleteFirst, Happy October 1st and even though it is a bit early, Happy Yom Kippur! I know it will be the Day of Atonement, so I am constantly being mindful of any sins and confess them whenever I have an opportunity, namely during my daily prayers.
Beautiful picture of Heavenly dwellings! Could this be how we may interact with other saints in one possible scenario? Also is one of them holding an umbrella? There will not be rain, only sunshine and maybe some evenings in Heaven? Could this be when we sleep in the mansions and other residential areas?
How much I long for this experience but again, the Lord will reward those who are persevering, patient, and faithful, so I will continue to wait and of course, keep looking up.
John 14:6 where Jesus said “I am the Way, Truth, and Life,” is the Scripture I recite a number of times daily, especially in my daily gratitude prayers. I am sure the Lord is pleased that I have not fallen away despite being constantly tempted to do so.
I had a thought, would there be a higher likelihood of our unbelieving family members being saved if we ask the Lord to appear to them in a dream or vision and save the personal appearance for last? I am still desperately thinking of ways to save our loved ones since I feel the Rapture and Tribulation may be soon.
With the government officially shut down, let us see how long it lasts and what happens. I remember last time it happened under Trump was for like five weeks in end of 2018 to early 2019. You would not be surprised if this time is much more extreme for it may be a “requirement” in setting up the Beast Empire? Now I am thinking maybe the Lord implored you to make today’s post another Rapture message to let readers know this really is a big deal this time and that He will bring us home before something unthinkably deplorable happens as a result of it?
I read that Switzerland narrowly passed the measure to bring about Digital ID on its citizens this past weekend. With the UK now mandating it for all its citizens and Estonia, Denmark, and India following suit, it may be only a matter of time before it reaches America? And the EU is going to vote on Chat Control 2.0 in a couple of weeks - is it reasonable to think no one in a million years would have ever imagined such form of evil would become a reality?

Hello Brother! Yes, I loved that picture too! I have no idea whether there will be rain in Heaven or whether we will even need sleep. The Bible doesn't say.. only that it will be beyond anything we can ever imagine or hope for.
DeleteThe Lord is very pleased with you, Brother. He has adopted you into His family. He only wishes to walk with you and talk with you... but staying in repentance and obedience is always a good way to do that. As far as lost loved ones, God is so much smarter than we are and He knows our loved ones much better than we do. Hence, He knows exactly how to reach each one.. whether in a dream, vision, or some tragedy. So, rest in His wisdom and His ability!
I try to post things as the Lord leads.. so maybe yes, He is leading me to post more about the soon rapture. As far as the government shutdown... guess we'll find out what happens. The timing is interesting.
I agree... everything you mentioned about the digital id... and AI.. I would have never guessed things would have gotten this bad so quickly!! The signs are everywhere... We have to be leaving soon!

I love this script about the mansions, it is special to me.
When I got saved I felt an immediate prompting to be Baptized. Thats when I met the Old Pastor. He jumped on his bike and drove down to the lake behind my wife's parents house., took his cowboy boots off and we went down into the water together. We were total strangers till that day, and became fast friends. He Pastored a Pentecostal, with speaking in tongues is a central part. Throgh the years we would debate this, the Pastor and I. It wasnt that I didnt speak in tongues, or approve, I just didnt see it as a sole proof of salvation. But we remained friends and never let that come between us. Years later, a short time after my most lovely 99 year old Gramma passed we wound up in another debate about salvation. Now Gramma was heavy on my mind. She was Catholic, and always greetd and departed her company with a, God bless you and a kiss, or many little kisses. She was a most humble servant I ever knew. Always gracious and caring about the little detail. She was also the best cook I ever knew. She always wore her Rosary beads wrapped around her hand, praying silently, while listening to all you had to say. One of those peaople who was genuinely interested in everything you had to say. The lovliest Lady I've ever known. So the subject of Salvation came up, and of course the issue, did she speak in tongues. Well that was the first time the Old Pastor and I really argued about it. I went home heartbroken and discouraged.
That night I prayed God would show me the truth about tongues, I had to know to be able to go on. That night God gave me the dream. It was Acts 10 where Peter is called to Cornelius's house, a Roman Centurion. A devout Christian. Peter doesnt want to go to a Romans unclean house, and that night he has a dream where a sheet is let down from heaven with all kinds of animals in it. God tels Peter to eat, Peter refuses saying, Lord I have never eaten anything unclean, God replies, dont call anything unclean that I have made clean. This happen three times, you know the story. But I woke up so full of joy #1 because it was my answer to Gramma's salvation, and #2 wow God really answered me like that !
The next night, I said Lord, can you show me more, lol, oh how soon we start to doubt ! But He is faithful, and that next night He gave me this script from John 14 !!! But this one came with a vision, Jesus was standing on a mountain with His arms streched out wide, as I looked I saw massive lines of people stretched out so long you couldnt see the end of them. They were from every tribe, language and "tongue".Rev 7.
When I woke the next mornig I was convinced that I would see Gramma in heaven.
But here's the kicker. And I didnt ask for this one. The third night God gave me another dream, you know, how God wants you fully convinced :). So I was at a banquet table, the end of which could not be seen. Every chair filled with the sons and daughters of Christ. The room was full of electricity and great joy. There were name tags in front of each person ? Then some at the far end of the table told us to stand, pull out our chairs to let the next group of believers in. At the other end, Angels opened the door and these strangey dressed people had to duck down so their hats wouldnt hit the doorway. They were dressed like priests and bishops ? When I looked at the name tag in front of me, on the back, it said Ciaphas ??? I didnt know who he was. But when I woke I looked him up, yeah, he was the guy who put the plot together to arrest Jesus ??? When I fist realized this I was confused. But it settled in that Jesus is more forgiving and merciful than we can know or imagine.

Very cool stories and dreams, Brother! I believe in tongues absolutely, but never a requirement for salvation! It's only by Grace and Faith we are saved. So cool the Lord gave you those 3 confirmations of His Word... !!! We serve a merciful and amazing God! I believe we will see many in heaven we did not expect to see!! Exciting to think about.

ReplyDeleteIt will be literally a dream come true to be walking in Heaven and interact with other Brothers and Sisters. Since there is no time in Heaven, I am confident that everyone who goes via the Rapture would not want to come back to this evil world, but they will come back with Jesus for the Millennium Reign and that is when the Earth is rid of most evil.
Even though we will be rejoicing in Heaven while the Tribulation is taking place on Earth, do you think some of us with loved ones still on Earth will inquire with the Lord to intervene to save them during the seven years? Like the commenter above, I also have unsaved family members whom I am desperately praying for the Lord to save them.
I just read that the 21-Point Plan proposed by Trump was reportedly agreeable to some countries around Israel, such as Dubai (UAE), Turkey, and Saudi Arabia - could this really sound like a high possibility of the Daniel Covenant? The article I read it from said that if it really is, then it may still be some time, as in months, before the final draft is ready for signing. In other words, if this is true, then it may have to be sometime next year when we finally leave. The writer is still dogmatic that the Rapture would happen on Rosh Hashanah and never any other time during a year, meaning he thinks it could be FOT next year.
Since the above topic may sound suitable for discussion, what are your thoughts on this? Even if it is before FOT next year, then I am not sure about the Spring since I remember you used to hold firmly that the Rapture would be in the Spring. I guess we will see, but I thought I’d let you know about this theory. Now I also wonder if the Two-State Solution might be a “distraction” of some sort or maybe it has some connection to this plan.

Yes, absolutely! We will be able to talk to Jesus and ask Him to save our family members down on Earth during the Tribulation. Of course. Why wouldn't we? We are His kids and as kids, we can come to Him with anything on our minds. I also will have many left behind, so I can relate
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe Trump's plan is laying the foundation for the Daniel 9 covenant but we should avoid speculation on timing and such. We just don't know. A major catastrophe could happen tomorrow or the Gog-Magog war.. and it could end in a week and the covenant then signed and we would be gone. I do not believe the rapture HAS to occur on FOT. The Lord can and will come whenever He is ready. Yes, I have always believed the Spring harvest was a better time, but I'm very open to being wrong.
The 2-state solution is very much a part of prophetic developments. The Bible says that Jerusalem would be a stumbling block for the entire world and here we are and it is! God will not allow His holy land to be divided.
I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land. Joel 3:2
