Dear Saints,
I'm sure you've heard about Pete Hegseth's words by now about this Iran war being a Holy War. And many other military leaders are saying the same.
Based on recent reports from early March 2026, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has faced intense scrutiny for rhetoric framing the military conflict with Iran as a "holy war" or a precursor to "Armageddon," heavily infusing religious language into official military messaging
In addition many military leaders have said that Iran war is part of God’s plan and that President Donald Trump was “anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth,”
For those who don't know, the Battle of Armageddon, derived from the Hebrew Har-Magedone ("Mount Megiddo"), is described in the Bible (Revelation 16:16) as the final, climactic showdown between God and the forces of evil. It is the culmination of the end-times tribulation, where nations gather in the Valley of Jezreel to fight against God, leading to Jesus' return and ultimate victory.
Have you ever heard such end times rhetoric coming from our military and government? While, as a believer in Jesus, you may be celebrating (and some are) based on what we know about those in power, perhaps we should dig a bit deeper.
Why would Satan want his minions to say such a thing? What if he wants Christians to believe that this current war will morph into the Biblical war of Armageddon and therefore, the second coming of Jesus? It is clear from Revelation 16 that the Battle of Armageddon occurs right after the bowl judgements and at, or just before, Jesus returns to Earth.
So, if I'm a Christian who does not believe in the rapture or who isn't really sure about the rapture, and someone in power who claims to be a Christian says this is the battle of Armageddon and it aligns with what Scripture says about the battle, I would be highly likely to believe it. Then, suppose Jesus appears in the sky and lands on Earth exactly like the Scripture says.
But the problem is, it isn't the real Jesus. It's the Antichrist in disguise and they have used their advanced technology to create the appearance of him descending in the clouds from heaven. Then he lands and immediately takes over, stops the war, creates peace throughout the world and ushers in a time of prosperity, peace, and affluence the world has never known. Some believers will think this is the millennial reign of Christ!
But it's all a lie. A HUGE Deception.
Well, you might say, believers won't be here then anyway. They'll be raptured before this happens. True, but not all believers. Remember Jesus spits the Lukewarm believers out of his mouth. Believers who love the world more than Jesus and don't walk in obedience will be left behind. I cannot interpret Scripture any other way. I've been over this often here on this blog, so I won't repeat myself.
There are many many believers who do not read their Bibles, do not spend time with Jesus, and have zero clue about end times. So, when all this happens and their own pastors are telling them this is the real Jesus, how easy it will be for them to fall for it? There are many pastors in the church currently who are not followers of Jesus. Satan has infiltrated the church, and it is my opinion and belief that many of these pastors will lead their flocks to worship the beast and take his Mark.
Specific believers who are in the greatest danger are:
- Believers who don't think there is a rapture or aren't sure or really don't care
- NAR/Dominionism believers who think the church must take over the world and then Jesus returns
- Preterists - People who believe prophetic events in the Bible already occurred in 70AD
- Idealists - People who believe Revelation is symbolic and allegoric only
- Historicists - People who believe Revelation is a symbolic panoramic view of church history
- Post millennialists- Christians take over the world leading to Golden Age of Peace and then Jesus returns
- Amillennialists - People who believe we are already in the 1000 year reign of Christ. He reigns in heaven through the church
- All Lukewarm believers who love this world more than Jesus
- All those who believe in a false Jesus. Awhile back I wrote a post on which Jesus are you following? Please take a minute to read it again. There are MANY False Jesus's out there now and some might surprise you.
Now, when I say believers, I mean they are still saved, but in great danger of losing that salvation. And because they weren't ready when Jesus came for His Bride, then they were left behind.
I found it utterly shocking that Hegseth and our own military leaders would say such things about Trump, Armageddon and Jesus's second coming! This is not something to take lightly or to celebrate. They are setting up believers for the Great Deception. Jesus Himself said it was such a huge deception that it had the potential to fool even the elect.
For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:24
It's quite possible that someone reading this now or after the rapture will be saved from this great deception that is coming. Please pass along to anyone you know as the Lord leads.
Good reminder, MaryLu. So much deception. I read that most (70% +/-) MSM reporting, which is negative to the current war, is sourced in Europe. We simply can't take anything from MSM or social media at face value. My son sent me an instagram short about a fellow who supposedly encountered Jesus in a movie theater. Jesus can do whatever He wants, but the only post resurrection encounters with humans on earth that are recorded in scripture are prior to His ascension. Other than the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, of course, which was a specific part of God's plan for the entire Church, I can't think of any. After the South African pastor, Joshua's, claims about Jesus' appearing and telling him the rapture would occur on 9/23 last year, we should all be very wary. Not to mention the Sec War and other military commanders using eschatological language in reference to this current war. As you say this is not, nor is it leading to, Armegeddon. Superficial reading or knowledge of the Word is not enough. We must know what the Bible actually says about end time events and when/how they transpire. So thankful for this family (and others) who knows and adheres to the Word. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Judi! You're so right. We can't take anything we hear or see on any media at face value. I do believe Jesus can appear to people.... but I don't think it's very often, like you said. It would have to be in extreme circumstances.. And absolutely, this Joshua guy either saw a false Jesus or he himself lied. Knowing the Bible, inside and out, and knowing our Savior is the only way to survive these times! I'm grateful for everyone here as well. No one in my life here believes me or wants to talk about these things. Blessings!
DeleteI just remembered, there are reports of Jesus appearing to unbelievers in places like Iran and elsewhere--dreams/visions, perhaps in Person? We don't know and I don't want to be dogmatic about anything that doesn't specifically contradict scripture. Peter did hear a "voice from heaven" in the vision of the sheet, but it wasn't an appearance. If ever there was a time to be a Berean, it is today.

I have had this conversation of war in Iran with many on the bus this week.They ask, what do you think ? My respone is always, no man will save this earth. But we have a Savior, Jesus Christ who will come to save us :) Both Christian and non praising Trump for attacking Iran, and Greenland and the other countries he is threatening to take over. Still their are others who just dont like war at all. They are the meek, I think. not all just tree huggers, they are just the gentle sort. I think God loves these. But then you get the real hard nosed Trumpsters. They always wanna fight. well they've come to the right place. But I'm extra cautious with these, because they are so loyal to the system they would gladly report you for violating their rights ! Funny, they ask the question, but then ignore your rights ! But I'm careful with these because I dont want to jepordize the few who will be saved from our bus ride :) Highway to Heaven Lol !
And then we have people like Brian Simmons who is not bashful to say out loud that " the milenial regn is the biggest lie in the Bible. So he wrote his own bible, The Passion Translation !!! Be ware. Not sure but I dont believe it contains the book of Rev. I read somewhere recently that he has begun that process of writing his version of Rev. He says Jesus physically appeared to him and downloaded the TPT into him.
If you ever have 40 miniutes to kill, and you want to know what is spreading through the church today, listen to Simmons video, Glory to Glory. It will give an understanding of the wierd use of scripture by these frauds.
Now Sister, forgive my ignorance, but I always thought that the Armageddon would take place at the end of the thousand year reign? I believe this is the Great white throne judgement. Then satan and his angels are cast to hell forever. When satan is loosed for a short time. Isnt that when the earth and heaven are destroyed and the new earth comes.

Highway to Heaven! That's a great name for your Bus ride! Love it. I will pray that the Lord guides you into what to say. Sounds like you have a real mix of different views and opinions on your bus. It's like trying to talk to a raging mob of lunatics! I guess the best thing to do is just point them to Jesus. No sense in arguing politics or even religion.
DeleteI had not heard that Simmons was writing his own version of Revelation. That will definitely seal his fate because it says in that very book that if you detract one word or insert one word into that prophecy, all the curses in that book will fall on you.
I believe Armageddon is the battle that occurs right before the 2nd coming. If you read Revelation 16, it seems to occur right at the end of the bowls being poured out. However, there is another war at the end of the millennial reign after Satan is released.... but it isn't given a name. So, essentially, there are two huge wars surrounding Israel. But it is my understanding that Armageddon is the first one.
You are not dull or ignorant!! These are things theologians argue about and it really doesn't matter. You know Jesus and that makes you the wisest man on Earth!!

ReplyDeleteI have not heard nor read the announcement by Hegseth, but I totally believe how it is very likely another step to fulfill the purpose of the Great Deception.
Regarding the False Messiah, do you believe that he will reveal himself sometime after the Rapture in addition to the alien disclosures narrative? The technology used to portray this would be so convincing that many would instantly believe this, and when the Tribulation midpoint hits, the fatal wound prophecy will be fulfilled to keep people trusting that he really is the “Messiah.” Only then will real hell break loose when the AC then demands global worship and talking of the MOB upon being “resurrected.” I believe this is how it may all play out, do you believe this could be true?
Based on what I read lately on some other watchman blogs, I read that Damascus may have to be destroyed to fulfill Isaiah 17:1, and it may be just around or after the Rapture. Especially with a report that some Iranian strikes landed not far from the Temple Mount yesterday or so, this could be close to being fulfilled.
Additionally, I read the Gog-Magog War could happen shortly after the Tribulation starts. One reason is that Ezekiel noted that “Israel would spend seven years preserving and burning captured weapons” and another reason is that Israel would be “living in security with unwalled defenses.” Only the Daniel Covenant could secure the conditions needed for these two to be fulfilled. This is only an assessment, it does sound credible?
You may have heard that a US refueling plane crashed in Iraq, taking the lives of six crew members. Some people could be wondering if it was an interception by enemy forces.
There were also attacks at a synagogue in Michigan and at a university in Virginia a couple days ago. People may think they are the typical antisemitic acts of terrorism, but I have this feeling they could be the potential start of sleeper cell activation, with only time telling when the next will happen. What are your thoughts on this?
Today is exactly a year since last year’s Blood Moon and also two weeks since the Iran War started. Two weeks time and already so much destruction and escalating tensions and hostility seem all but certain to increase. With Ramadan ending mid next week and Nisan 1 & Spring starting later next week, keep looking up Sister and stay safe, for I still believe the Spring seems probable for us to be going home. DeleteYes, the Bible tells us that the AC will reveal himself right at or shortly after the Rapture, and it could have something to do with the disclosure. Your list of events of how it will all play out is very likely based on Scripture. I'm glad we won't be here to find out!
I don't know when Damascus will fall or the Gog-Magog war will commence. The Bible doesn't tell us. But we can infer that they both occur right around the rapture and the start of the Tribulation. Mainly because, as you stated, it takes 7 years to clean up the nuclear fallout. Also, the Daniel covenant will allow Israel to rebuild their temple. So if we see these events starting to happen or forming on the chessboard, we know we are close.
I think we will see more shootings and more mass murders here in the US. Many of these shooters are either completely brainwashed or they are MK-Ultra victims. I don't believe the sleeper cells have been activated yet.. When they are, we will know it!
Yes, a lot of destruction in the first 2 weeks of the war. I think we are on high watch this week due to, as you said, The end of Ramadan, the start of Nisan and Spring. So, keep your eyes on things above and cling to Jesus!
