Dear Saints
I hope this post finds you well and staying close to our Lord!
Oddly enough, I've been thinking a lot about hell these days. According to Pew Research Center from 15-40% of professing Christians in America do not believe in hell. That number astounds me. What is the point of the Gospel then? What is Jesus saving us from? It was the Apostle Paul who said in 1 Corinthians 15:19
If we who are [abiding] in Christ have hope only in this life and that is all, then we are of all people most miserable and to be pitied.
Why pitied? Because the Christian life isn't easy. It's a narrow, lonely road full of struggles. And if your pastor tells you otherwise, he is lying. Yes, there is great joy along the way, miracles, answered prayer, strength, wisdom and peace. But it is not easy. You will lose friends, jobs, be ostracized if you are really serving Jesus. But why would anyone sign up for that if everyone goes to heaven anyway? Or if there is no afterlife at all and you just cease to exist?
What is the worst thing about hell? Have you ever thought about that? Is it the burning heat 24-7? The lack of food or water, the lack of friends or companions? What about physical torment and pain? Or maybe it is the regrets, the memories of a life lived for oneself instead of for God? Hell is all those things. The complete absence of anything good we enjoy in this life. Think about that. Sunshine, good food, flowers, laughter, entertainment. All good things come from God. Why? Because God is good. He is the one who provides all of us with good things. Those who reject Him, reject everything He is.
But the worst thing about Hell, in my opinion, is that there is no hope. None. Even if you are sentenced to prison in this life for a crime, you always have hope. Hope of parole, hope that your sentence will end, hope maybe even of escape, or perhaps hope to be moved to a better location for good behavior. Even hope of death at the end of it all.
In hell, there is none of that. No parole, no hope of anything getting better, no privileges for good behavior, no change, no reprieve, no mercy, and there isn't even a hope of dying to end it all. Stop and think about that for a moment. It is completely and utterly devastating. I've always said that there are billions right now in hell who would give anything for a single minute back in this life wherein they could accept Jesus.
Why am I thinking about such depressing topic? Because MANY are going to end up there. Many. Not a few, not 20% or 30% or even 50%. How about 97%? That's the percentage Howard Pittman saw when he died and visited heaven. (see video below). I want you to really think about that. For me, it not only crushed my heart, but it made me want so badly to save as many as I could from such a fate. Am I doing enough? Or am I too focused on my own business, my own needs and life? I admit to being guilty of that very thing.
I'm putting a link to the testimony of Howard Pittmann, a man who died in 1979, went to heaven, and came back with a warning for the church. It really impacted me, and I think it will you too. It's just a little over an hour but you will be on the edge of your seat while he's relaying the things he saw and experienced.
Howard Pittman Testimony - His NDE and the End time Warning God gave him.
One more thing before I close. As Pittman said, Satan has already infiltrated the church. He has either brainwashed pastors and teachers or they are in on it and are getting paid to preach what the Illuminati (Satan's minions) tell them too.
The Illuminati will let you preach the gospel and make you very rich, if you preach 4 main things. You can even mention Jesus as much as you want, but these four are the most important.
- There is No Pre-Tribulation Rapture
- Preach Ecumenicalism. Catholic Church and Christians are the same.
- Eternal security (OSAS)
- Jesus did not die for everyone but only those He pre-selected
Please make sure your pastor is not preaching any of these things! And if anyone you listen to believes any of this, turn them off and don't listen to them again. I realize that will limit the number of pastors and teachers you listen to. And even watchmen. Better yet, just read the Bible and let the Holy Spirit teach you what you need to know!
Sending Blessings and prayers out to all of you.
