Wordless Wednesday

  1. Ooh, I think this is my favorite yet! I just love naval battles that take place on stormy seas, with equally stormy skys above...so much danger, turmoil, and drama.
This reminds me of the ending of "The Curse of the Black Pearl."

  2. This is a great photo...adventure on the high seas...also reminds me very much of the chase scenes with the ships in the Charles Towne Belles series..Oh, do still consider writing a book for Charity. Her story is begging to be told...so I can read it of course :) :) :)
I'm loving "Surrender the Heart".. My favorite line from Marianne Denton so far..from the first chapter "A woman in public office? That will never happen"...haha ha ha...this is awesome!!!
Thanks for sharing these beautiful painting with us. Lov and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

I, too, believe Charity deserves to have her story told. Just FYI... This pic is very intriguing. I see the smaller ship being captained by a Godly man with the Heaven's opening up to give him hope and strengthen his faith....the larger ship is captained by an infamous, loathsome man who's about to be taken down!

  5. I just reread The Redemption, so to me this is Captain Merrick barreling down on the Hades Revenge! It was just as good a read the third time around:)

  6. Thanks for all your comments, ladies! Yes, what a gorgeous scene, huh? Right out of one of my books, I'd say. It defintely could be Captain Merrick or perhaps Captain Carlton, or Dajon chasing Faith! Yes, I agree Charity needs her own story. What needs to happen is I need to become one of the best-selling popular authors, then I can decide what I write and not my publisher! LOL.
    Blessings to all.. MaryLu

  7. Wow. This picture is rather interesting. And one of the ships totally reminds me of the Black Pearl! But, the chase scene of it reminds me of all the chases in your books. And don't worry, MaryLu! Your books are so amazing, that you'll become a best-selling author in no time! Alway's count on me to buy your books and tell others how awesome they are!
    God Bless.

  8. Heh MaryLu,
Well ... right along with everyone else .... I totally love this picture too !!! It's the entire shot .... the intensity of the clouds and water, the waves, the two ships looking like they are about to go "into action" .... what a wonderful photo !!!
    Love and blessings MaryLu,
