  1. great picture. It does look like it's "too quiet" doesn't it? Like they're just waiting for the right moment...then...blam!

  2. Wed June 29th,
    "Morning, MaryLu."
The colours in this photo are really neat ! Seeing the ships all anchored for the night (in waiting), kind of makes you 'feel like' you want to jump into this shot, and be a part of 'whatever' is to come .... in the morning. All is well, and, quiet ... for the time being .... but ....... Ahhhhh ... I can see a novel coming out of this photograph, MaryLu .....
    Thanks for sharing.
    Take care, and, God Bless,

  3. I love all the browns and grays and the detail on the ships...now if only one of them would hoist a Jolly Roger. ;-)

  4. I agree, this is a beautiful picture. The ships are so majestic! The one in the middle appears to be a Christian vessel. Perhaps it be a shipment of Bibles fer the crew. Ye should have the crew prepare for a boardin' party to receive the Word of God!
Thanks for sharing this photo, it really gets the imagination going. :)

Sheri, good to see you here! I know you've been busy on the farm.
Brenda, love your imagination as always
Sapphire, yes, I do believe Debbie is right.. there is a jolly roger on the middle ship. That be the one carryin' the Word of God.
Aye, let's prepare a boardin' party!
Kath.. I used to paint so yes, I quite agree. It looks very difficult... which is why I'm sticking to writing! LOL
