Wordless Wednesdays!

Ahoy there! I found this gorgeous Tall ship painting online.  I used to oil paint and if I ever have time to get back into it, I hope to paint some ships. We shall see.

Hope everyone's week is going great! Don't forget to come back on Friday for another 2-book giveaway!

Beautiful painting ... love the variety of colour ! Intense and intriguing ... and the tall-ship -- outstanding ! Well, that would be totally neat -- being both a famous Author, and, a famous Painter !!! (Hope you can get back into oil-painting some time.)
    Thanks for sharing.
    Take care, and, God Bless,

Eeeeeh gads !!!! I hit the wrong key up above (in my comment) ..... it was supposed to say -- "Morning, MaryLu" (not Maryly) !!! So sorry about that !

  3. Great painting, Maryly! (just kidding; I mean MaryLu; just teasing Brenda) *hugs* Brenda!
Anyway, I love how just some simple strokes of a brush can create a work of art. I am a fan of the painter Bob Ross. I love the way he can take a blank canvas and turn it into a beautiful display right before your eyes! I've only dabbled in painting in the past. I used to sketch a bit, too. Oh, to have such a talent! Thanks for sharing. Have a great day!

  4. Actually, MaryLy has a nice sound to it.. very pretty. In fact, I've always hated my name, MaryLu. So, I'm willing to be called anything! Well, almost anything.
Glad you ladies liked the painting!
I've been editing all morning so I'm off for a walk..

  5. I love the contrast between the oranges of dawn and the deep greens around the ship...not that I know anything about art, lol. :-)
I actually love your name, MaryLu! :-)
