London of 1803 is as wild as Rome before the fall of the Empire as the rick seek to feed their insatiable hunger for pleasure while ignoring Napoleon's resurgence.
Into a dark London townhouse walks a timid woman set upon saving her brother's life, even if it requires her to commit treason upon the country of her birth.
Admiral Chase Randal is intrigued by the new governess in his home and cannot deny that his grieving heart is beginning to awaken as he watches Dominique with his son.
Dominique loves the admiral's son, but how can she understand an attraction for the admiral when he claims to deny the existence of God? For only through God does she find her courage to spy for France.
Love it! I think you did a very goo job portraying these characters with words. I think of them as the same. :)
ReplyDeleteOops, that was supposed to say "good" not goo...alreay been a long NaNo month and it's not even half over :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Sheri.. yes I wondered what a goo job was! Sounds sticky! Anyway.. thanks! Glad we agreed on the pictures. Hey.. how's your NaNo writing coming along? I did that once. It's a kick!
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool, this is almost exactly how I imagined them!!
ReplyDeleteHeather
Russell Crowe looked so dashing in Master and Commander! I can see Chase and Dominique in both of them! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat, Heather!! I think I hit this one on the head. And Emma, yes, Russell Crowe made a great Royal Navy Captain. I heard he might make another movie but that was awhile ago. I wish he would!
ReplyDeleteLove it! This is pretty close to how I imagined them : )
ReplyDeleteCool, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, MaryLu! On this one we don't even come close to picturing them the same! lol. I know you created them so you should know, but I picture them WAY different.
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of funny. If I saw this then read the book maybe I'd agree but I read the book two years ago and picture them with totally different faces and hair. I thought her hair was black and his was more reddish, but not orange. Like a dark brown with red shades almost. lol
This is kind of fun...to see how everybody pictures characters
I agree about the hair color. I don't even try and match that. I'm looking more for face and body structure.. that kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteRegardless, you're right. Everyone pictures characters differently!
Again I'm trying to catch up, sorry I havent been posting.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like Dominique and Chase. Good choices. :)
Almost how I imagine both of them. Chase I just imagine with a bit of a few years younger look, but still both look dashing! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Victoria!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Tracy, Russel Crowe makes quite the dashing naval hero. :-)
Either way I love Russel Crowe! My favorite male actor. Master And Commander!--on my list of four favorite movie!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love The Falcon and The Sparrow! But, in my vision, Chase was not 'that' much older than Dominique. Good choice for Dominique though.
